ShareThis Share Buttons

Poor Support Nobody cares - Struggling to hide pintrest for the past 1 month - despite raising support no response Also the interface doesn't saves your last option

Useless

It downloaded but thats it. just kept waiting to load. couldn't do anything with it.

Make sure you select the "on" toggle right above the preview. Its defaulted to "off" and prevents it from working. The preview toggle is so you can modify your sight in the background and see it within your theme editor without making it live. Overall, all the buttons seem to work as intended, very happy with ShareThis as it does what it says better than those who charge exorbitant amounts. Recommended

Does not work. Displays message: This page has been blocked by an extension. I did report this to their support. They never responded. Awful product, awful customer service.

not working

was working well, but suddenly disappeared on my site in the past week. the admin doesn't even come up, the screen flickers for minutes on end and then I simply nav away from it.

Really enjoy these buttons, as my customers can use it to share my products to social media and I can, as well. Very convenient and has an extensive library of social accounts available. Hey! So far this app is awesome and delivers everything I need. I needed share buttons for my blog, and another set for social media links (it even has Linkedin) for a link option. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying our Shopify app. Keep sharing! — ShareThis Technical Support Team

Could be a good app but the ability to save settings in admin is broken - the support team didn't seem to be aware of this nor do they seem to have dedicated developers to fix it. I can't recommend this app developer. Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Please know that we've escalated this issue to our engineering team so we can investigate further. We apologize for any inconvenience. — ShareThis Technical Support Team

i like the APP...Helpful and easy. I´ll recommend it to all my friends. Interesting and good. Still missing some options, like TIKTOK and INSTAGRAM... Hello! Thank you for your review. Currently, Instagram and TikTok restrict their API and therefore it isn’t possible to share content across an endpoint through an application outside their environment. However, we do offer a Follow Button for both of them which you can add on your end by enabling your Follow Buttons from our plugin's Dashboard. Best, — ShareThis Technical Support Team

If I could give minus 1000 I would. Messed up the store didn't add the buttons. On top of that I cannot even delete it . I had to send a message.

Great and easy to use, thank you for having this free. This is a great app for anyone wants to add Share Buttons

Hi there, great app it helped a lot, thank you very much for creating it. I just faced one problem with email sharing, it makes my shop page white when I try to share something by email. It works fine if I refreshed the page but is there any way to fix this on my side? maybe I added the code in the wrong way or something?

Their proprietary counter is giving false numbers on the amount of shares. This can be shown from the website replays (I'm not seeing even half of the people clicking the button). Other than that, the button works just fine and does its job. Hi there! Thanks for your review, apologies for any share count error you have encountered. We'd be happy to look into this more deeply, please send us an email at support@sharethis.com and we'll try to reproduce your issue and get to the bottom of it.

This is a great app. it is clean looking and very functional. It makes sharing on social media a breeze. My hat is off to the developers!

Does not work, saying that extension is blocking the app.. Adblocker extensions were off but still it doesn't work. Hi there, Thanks for providing feedback, In regards to your issue, oftentimes Adblocker extensions can cause our plugin to not work properly. We recommend turning off Adblocker prior to installing so that your onboarding experience works fully. Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks again!

I got this app to replace the default sharing buttons in my theme, which were too complex to have their colors changed. This app allowed me to easily setup attractive replacement buttons within minutes. Although it doesn't have an option to change button color like I hoped, the buttons all use clean, consistent markup, so I recolored them exactly as I wanted with a single style. Overall a fantastic app, considering that it's free!

Quite easy to setup, flexible. Just no way to customize the default wording (for example for email sharing) Fast result, like it

This app works amazingly as long as you following the instructions provided to actually insert the HTML code in the pages you would like the share buttons to appear.

The app does not work at all in my store, i can't open the control panel of this app in my shopify control panel, please fix it because your app in sooooooooooooo usefulll . I delete the app and try to download again but it's stuck in the loading page until now Thanks for the good rating under these circumstances. The app should be working as it was before. We apologize for the inconvenience! Thanks again.

Asks me to enter a new e-mail to make an 'account' every time I want to make changes to the share icons. And I can't use the same e-mail I used last time (with no option to log in). Looks like they are just collecting an e-mail list to me. I would avoid. (Wish Shopify would allow me to place a 1 star review but I'll have to settle for 2). We're really sorry for any inconveniences you experienced during installation of this app. We assure you we are NOT just collecting emails and this app very much works for most users. We do have an issue with Safari browser users at this moment and if you are also using the Safari browser when trying to install this app that could be the reason you're having this problem. If so please use Chrome or Firefox for the moment. We are trying to resolve this Safari issue now. If you are not using Safari, we would very much like to know what your specific issue is and would love to work with your to get this resolved. Please reach out to "support@sharethis.com" at your earliest convenience. Thank you so much to giving us a try!
