Great replacement for Stocky. Stockroom meets Stocky's abilities in just about every area and exceeds them in many ways as well. Having the ability to see which employees are making each PO is a great feature we were very much missing. Dropshipping is so much easier with Stockroom as well. The customer support team behind this app have been extremely helpful and we've been able to keep running without a hitch. Very glad to have found Stockroom!

Love this app - really easy to use and has some very intelligent features that make ordering really easy. The landed costs is why we got it; it allows a weighted average across all products in store and includes freight and shipping naturally.

When Stocky expired, I was honestly a little lost and started looking at various Shopify inventory apps. I found that many had basic limitations, with important functions such as “Return to Supplier” not even being available. Then I found Stockroom by chance. This app has clearly been carefully thought out, with all the essential features covered + then some. For such a newly created app, I must say I’ve been absolutely blown away by it so far. It’s intuitive, practical and feels like it was designed by people who actually understand the day-to-day challenges of managing stock. Really impressed with what I’ve seen so far and excited to see how the app develops.

David, one of the developers, has been extremely responsive to our needs. I am VERY impressed so far with the app’s functionality and the level of support we’ve received. I have owned and operated a brick-and-mortar retail business for over 33 years and have used other POS systems with extensive inventory-management capabilities. Unfortunately, Shopify’s native inventory functionality is seriously lacking in this area. STOCKROOM bridges that gap and provides many of the inventory tools and functionality that Shopify is missing. In fact, STOCKROOM is one of the reasons I’ve decided to stay with Shopify. Great app, great functionality, and an incredibly responsive development team!

This app and David are awesome! It's crazy to think that this app is free when others are charging money for apps that aren't nearly as good. If you need an app to manage your Purchase Order creation and receiving, you just found it.

I'm so glad to found this app after Stocky went sunset. This is the perfect app for our store for ordering and receiving. It has so much to offer i would need some time to go through everything available but the start funtastic. Peter and his Team are great and the help and response time is amazing. Stockroom has been a fantastic replacement for Stocky and offers a very similar experience, making the transition incredibly smooth. It provides the inventory management features we relied on in Stocky, while continuing to evolve with new functionality. A special mention to David from the support team, who has been extremely helpful throughout. He has been quick to respond and has made requested changes and feature improvements promptly, helping tailor the app to our needs. If you're looking for a Stocky alternative for Shopify, Stockroom is a welcome addition and well worth considering. Great app backed by excellent customer support.

Very happy with this app as a Stocky replacement. The transition was almost seamless. Everything imported very easily. The two times I needed support since our transition, they were very quick to follow up. A zero cost option was worth trying and we are VERY glad we did!

This was sent to MyWorks as feedback for Stockroom: I want to give your team a HUGE shoutout! Was stressing over this Stocky changeover and checked out a bunch of different apps to replace Stocky and just wasn't finding anything that did what I needed it to do. Amazingly I ran across your app as a suggestion while talking with ChatGPT so I gave it a go and have not been disappointed. The app is very intuitive if you are used to the Stocky workflow. I was up and running in minutes. There is a slight learning curve but not anything I needed to contact support about. The stocky PO import tool was probably the highlight of my onboarding experience. Stockroom imported over 2000 purchase orders from over the past couple of years we have been using Shopify POS in probably less than 10 minutes and they are in my workflow like they were there before. The only thing with the import is the PO number shown goes off your Stocky document number and not the actual invoice number, not a huge deal as I can search for the invoice number in the search bar. The imbedded label printing is huge too, I can ditch my label printing subscription that I was using with stocky. I tried to look for this in the label editor but didn't see it, if there was any way you could possibly add the option for Date/Time to print on the tags too? It would be super handy to be able to look at a price tag and have a heads up on aged inventory. Otherwise you guys knocked it out of the park. Thank you very much! UPDATE: David from MyWorks got back to me about the Date feedback and built it into Stockroom in less than an hour. Awesome Job!

We switched over when Stocky sunset, and while there has been a learning curve, support has been absolutely amazing. I asked for the ability to add something to a report and two hours later it was ready to go. Awesome!

Honestly, I've been in retail for almost 20 years and this is hands-down the best app I've used. Every time I've suggested a tweak or feature, the team has either built it in fast or shown me a way to already do it, that kind of responsiveness is hard to find. We do a ton of special orders, pre-orders, and drop shipping for big items, so having something that makes all that simple instead of complicated is huge for us. This app just gets it right. Shopify's new native PO feature, on the other hand, felt like a step back in time and honestly just created more work. If you need real flexibility with POs, special orders, and vendor stuff, this is it.

I don't know what these guys are doing but they are adding new features like their on fire! Great Job and I think this is going to be one heck of a great app as they continue to develop it.

Stockroom is the perfect replacement for Shopify’s Stocky. Like many others, I was unsure what to use when Stocky was being shut down. I initially thought Shopify’s own purchase order system would do the job, but it just isn’t up to scratch. I stumbled across Stockroom and, after using it for only a few days, I’m incredibly impressed. On Friday evening, I asked whether metafields could be printed on labels. By Monday afternoon, the developers had added the feature. For context, I’ve been asking Shopify to improve its own label app for six years, with no success. For Stockroom to listen and implement it within days is genuinely amazing. It’s amazing to find an app whose developers genuinely listen to their users and act on suggestions so quickly. Highly recommended.

Any issues or concerns we had their support team was quick to assist and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are so happy to have found an alternative that does everything and more than what we were looking for.

Great. If the items with variants could be treated as one item that you click into to view its variants would be great. Like Stocky does it. Because when the variants are treated as individual items like Stockroom does it makes reports very long

We’ve been drastically affected by the sunsetting of Stocky. I searched high and low for something comparable and was honestly really put off by the whole situation. We were left in a bind in multiple ways, with several of our SOPs being unnecessarily disrupted in the process. Enter Stockroom. WOW. It is SOOO similar to Stocky, while still having its own flair. The creators have been incredibly responsive and have even added features AS I’VE REQUESTED THEM. Amazing. Just absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a Stocky alternative, quit wasting your time searching effective immediately and download Stockroom.

This is a great replacement for Stocky. We have multiple locations and weighted inventory so getting something that works well for us is difficult. The people working behind the scenes are super quick to reply and because you're speaking with the App developers directly you have give feedback directly that could help make the app even better. Best part- they listen and implement!

Oh My Gosh! Stocky was STUNKY! Stockroom is what I have been searching for, for the last 2 years using Shopify. So much easier and faster for my small, product intense, seasonal store. I needed an easier way to do purchase orders and this is it! It's been only 4 days so far, and my life is already better. Within 12 hours, some IT guy at the company added a label printing feature I requested via email. Thank you Stockroom. Highly suggest for small brick and mortar stores.

Stockroom came along at exactly the right time. I was looking for a Stocky alternative before it got sunset, and Stockroom checked every box I needed in a purchase order and stocktake replacement! I'd researched and tested a handful of recommended apps without finding the right fit for my business, until a shop friend suggested Stockroom. I was smitten from the first look. Stockroom is incredibly intuitive and has features I never saw in Stocky or Shopify's built-in inventory system. Since I started using Stockroom, the team has kept adding features that make organizing, receiving, and planning inventory even easier. They're genuinely receptive to feedback - even adding the barcode size I needed and customizing the settings to fit it. Nothing but good things to say about David and the My Works team and how much I appreciate this app.

The only Stocky replacement you need. I tried Shopify’s native tool, but it was seriously lacking, and I was getting a little worried about finding a Stocky replacement that wasn’t ridiculously expensive. Then I found Stockroom. It’s free (!!) and does everything I used Stocky for. I’m honestly super happy with it so far. I had a few questions when getting started, and their customer support team got back to me really quickly. Overall, really enjoying using it!

Came across this app while searching for a replacement for Stocky. We are beyond thrilled with it; it is even better than Stocky! We are only a few days in and keep discovering all we can do with this powerful app. It is very easy to enter purchase orders, receive them, print tags and run reports. The app is extremely useful and user friendly, and the support from David is top notch.

We are a small retail clothing store and had been using a purchase order app that didn't meet all our needs. Adding Stockroom will be a game changer in our day to day needs. David was incredibly helpful getting us up and running. He was quick to respond and went above and beyond to address some of our minor issues.

Absolutely awesome, and if you need a featured or something tweaked the DEV team is on it. They have personally introduced features at our request in days, and even more complicated things were done in a month!

We had already been using another app for our POs and labeling but when I saw this app was free and it would import our Stocky PO's and adjustments I thought that was worth at least adding for that. Then I saw it also could do Stocktakes which is the only thing my current app is missing. So I decided to download it. David has been very helpful with questions and also added an import feature for adding POs from other apps other than Stocky. I have not yet tried all the features they have but will definitely be trying the stocktake one soon. I am very pleased with the responses I have gotten from them.

So far so good. Everything works great however missing two key standard features. For now you cannot send your POs automatically to multiple emails. You need to be able to put more than one email address separated by a comma in the email field as we need to send our POs to our suppliers' order desk, and copy our rep and ourselves. Most PO apps can do this automatically. Also, we cannot edit the PO template. We do not want to see "cost" and "total" fields in our POs. Other apps allow PO template customization. If these two things can be added, I'll be back! Updated Aug 8th - Wow, after exchanging with David, the two requirements were actually implemented. Apparently these were high on their priorities. The application now has all of the features we need to move forward. This will be a great upgrade from Stocky. Thanks to David and the development team from MyWorks for being so responsive.

Add on to initial review below - upgraded to five stars for a few reasons: 1. Team is very responsive at the moment. Other Devs have been in the past, then service declined as numbers of customers increased but, hopefully they don't follow the pattern. Great service at the moment, though. 2. They've addressed many of my concerns and have deployed more than one improvement since I started working with their App a few weeks ago. Super excited about the ChatGPT and Claude plug-ins! 3. A lot of my initial issues were due to me not reading any documentation so, I started with 3 stars, moved them to 4 and finally settled on 5. Who reads docs anyway? LOL That being said, I really hope we get a filter that allows us to order based on ABC classification. Our catalog is rather large and growing weekly: we don't always want to restock everything, some things are a one time buy so, being able to only restock A and B titles would be extremely helpful. ------- Only been using it for a day but excited to see where the devs take this app. 4 stars for now because the app lacks a few functionalities that would take it from good to great: 1, The predictive restock functionality is pretty decent, but lacks any ability to narrow down your restocks by any criteria. It needs things like being able to narrow down purchase order creation more (all items tagged with, items that sold in the last 7 days, etc.). Right now, it generates purchase orders based on whatever it thinks you need to restock from a Vendor: there is no way to narrow that selection down other than to delete items by hand. 2. Purchase orders are created with 'split' destinations between multiple locations. There is no way to change that destination in the purchase order. 3. There is no 'merge' functionality for multiple purchase orders that arrive as one shipment. Despite these deficiencies in the purchase order functionality, the receiving process is smooth, easy to understand and well guarded against errors. Hoping to come back with an edit to this review with a bump up to five stars.

Stockroom has been a perfect alternative to Stocky (better in fact because we already use MyWorks). I prefer it to the native Shopify PO system which I found cumbersome and lacking in features. Currently, Shopify isn't offering an API to move the PO's from their native system to QuickBooks which is essential for our business. I highly recommend this app. Customer service is great too and responds quicky to my questions and suggestions!

YES!! I have been through 8 different apps trying to find a decent replacement for Stocky since Shopify decided to retire it. All of them were lacking some feature - usually stock takes or adjustment functionality, cumbersome cvs reports to then upload into Shopify, no reports at all, weird Purchase Order functionality, or no live updating of cost per unit in Shopify. Or, they charge a ridiculous monthly fee. THIS IS IT!! Stockroom has great forecasting that I can adjust by each product for lead times (this does take a bit of time). It has stock takes that I can either scan in or manually enter (love this feature), and the same with adjustments (so important for us in case of audit). We manufacture most of our product offering so we need something that has all these features. It does the instant update to the product cost per unit. It looks to also have the capacity to sync with QuickBooks, but I don't need that function so I can't speak to it. What is the most impressive to me is that I reached out to them about how the Purchase Order was functioning as I don't really scan out products in. We needed it to be easier to add the products manually. They literally had it fixed in 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES! I have never seen such excellent customer service. Thank you for making a wonderful app and making it free.

So far so good. I've been looking for a replacement for Stocky since its being discontinued at the end of next month. Stockroom had a native Stocky Import feature so I've not lost any of my purchase orders, Suppliers, or vendors. Plus it shares a very similar workflow so training my staff on the platform will be quick and easy. I had a small issue with how the barcode scanning adding products worked, so I reached out to the AI Chatbot (I'm usually not a fan, but Atlas was surprisingly good) which sent my concerns to the dev team and within *THREE HOURS* I was given not only a response from a human, but a resolution. That is insanely quick, and anyone coming from Stocky will find themselves happy with the service. I'm still testing the rest of the platform but so far it ticks all the boxes my business needs to operate, with seemingly no disruption.

With Stocky going to EOL and the capabilities of the built-in Shopify POs wanting, we decided we needed to change our Inventory master back to Quickbooks. We had just finished the implementation when MyWorks brought out Stockroom, for free! I was reluctant to test it, as we were working just fine with QBDT Enterprise handling it all, but I am glad we did! The user interfaces are so much more modern and the team likes them way better. The Stockroom team has been receptive to feedback and it is getting better by the day. We are now doing all our POs in Stockroom and they sync to our QBDT just fine. We are about to start testing the new stock take and adjustment features as well. I also like that it brought all of our adjustment and PO history in from Stocky-- so we aren't missing a thing. Great service, easy to use.

I'm new to Shopify and started right as Stocky was being discontinued, so I went hunting for a replacement and found Stockroom. Purchase orders were the piece I was most intimidated by, and Stockroom made them painless. I build and send unlimited POs to suppliers as clean PDFs, and it handles all the details I didn't know to think about: costs, currencies, lead times, and pack sizes per supplier. When stock arrives I receive it in full or partial quantities across locations, and my Shopify inventory updates in real time. It will even send me Slack messages when my inventory is low. The extremely simple migration brought everything over from Stocky so easily without losing any data. For a brand-new store owner watching every dollar, this is saving me money I don't have. Stockroom took the hardest part of running my shop and made it the part I worry about least. I can't recommend this enough to other Shopify owners.

When we heard Stocky was shutting down we were dreading finding a replacement, but MyWorks literally swooped in and saved the whole ecomm community with Stockroom right on time! Purchase orders sync straight into our accounting without us even having to think about it. Didn’t expect a free app to cover everything Stocky did but here we are!! If you’re an ecommerce store, do yourself a favor and check these guys out. 10/10!!

I can’t believe this app is free. Like many other Shopify sellers, we were using Stocky for PO management. We started looking for alternatives when the discontinuation news hit. We found a few viable options but nothing that could fully replace Stocky at a reasonable price. Eventually we came across Stockroom. There’s a one-click migration option from Stocky that allowed us to set up in just a few minutes without rebuilding our supplier and PO info from scratch, and without losing any historical data. The app not only fully replaces stocky but it solves some issues we had with it through better customisation and demand forecasting. Fully recommend it, especially if you’re coming from Stocky and have been looking for an alternative.

If the end of Stocky has you scrambling for a replacement that doesn't cost almost as much as your monthly POS subscription, Stockroom is the best candidate I've found so far. Unlike Shopify admin's native PO generation, Stockroom allows you to filter by vendor and tags. It's the closest option I've found to my normal workflow in Stocky while still being free. Would rate higher if I could.

With Stocky shutting down, I tried a few options and kept hitting the same wall: either too basic (Shopify's native POs) or it meant managing everything outside Shopify. Stockroom is the first one that actually fit how we work. It suggests what to reorder, and creating a PO from those suggestions is automatic and then I email it directly to the supplier without leaving the app. When stock arrives, we can scan everything in and print labels as we receive.
