Using this app caused our store to have skewed reporting results which we spent a lot of money and time investigating. I'd be careful. Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the negative experience you had with our app. We are not aware of any issues with skewed reporting for Shopify stores caused by our app. We have contacted you via email to gather more details about the issue you encountered with our Ultimate GDPR EU Cookie Banner app. Sincerely, The Conversion Bear Team
The app does not work anymore, I contacted customer service twice and never replied :( so sad because it used to work for us. Apparently it's an issue with geolocation, because I've set it to display on EU countries only, but it doesn't show. If I make it available everywhere, it does work.
Enthält Google-Fonts ... wie kann es dann GDPR konform sein ?! sofort gelöscht!
This app is a game-changer for online privacy! It ensures my data stays as secure as a secret recipe. Five stars for cookies and confidentiality! Thank you for leaving a 5-star review for our app! Glad that our app has been able to help with online privacy for your store.

Worked as promised and great support and infos. Very Easy Thank you for the review and glad you found the app easy to use!
Very good app! Everything works as it should. I'm absolutely satisfied with this app. It's best free app. Thank you! Thank you for the review and we're glad that the app functionality is meeting your expectations and working as intended.

Works great. Got everything done in under 5 minutes. Awesome app. Also did not expect the app to stay free after adding to webiste, but it's completely free.
Very easy to use. The fact that it is free is also very nice. It would be better if the display time could be changed. I will continue to use this app in the future.
Easy to use and customizable and it just works. What more could you ask for? Good support in terms of follow up and offering alternative products.
Simple, Easy to customise, and Effective. I installed it to make my site compliant with GDPR and getting consent from users for email and other marketing as well as tracking for better understanding how effective my site is for customers to get what they want. This enables so much for me. thank you.
Gerade erst installiert, ich warte auf Erfahrungen damit, aber es scheint mir sehr gut zu sein. Vielen Dank
Easy to use, everything is included what's needed! Love this app and recommend everyone to use it! Thank you!
Sehr gute App wäre noch besser wenn man die Beschreibung auf Deutsch hätte und vorlagen Texte ansonsten alles Top!!! Empflenswert
Only that you are aware: this app is only a "dummy". You don't really collect privacy data, the customer can't customize any cookies can set them to Opt-Out or anything else - no Admin-panel in background. However, if this is what you are searching for although not meet full GDPR compliance the support time is fast and the design is customizable.
The best app for the purpose. Highly recommended! They send a newsletter every so often and it comes with some really nice tips and tricks.
I hasd problems with another app publishingthe cookies banner so I try this on that immediately publish it and solve my problem and its free! thanks conversion bear
Can't fault this app, works brilliantly. Does exactly what it needs to do with good customisation options.
Can't remember what we used before but this is way more customisable and looks much better. Does everything you need it to do.
very nice app, easily customizable and easy to use. I just installed it so now i'm going to see how it works
Lightweight application, easy to use and 100% customisable. Discreet display on the site. thank you very much !
Great app. Easy to install and configure. Nice customization options available. Nothing to complain about.
Nice banner app, unobtrusive and pleasant to the eyes. Fits just what we need! Easy to install and works great.
This app is absolutely amazing and free, not much more to say. Well I'm not able to say more anyways
It just works! Disclaimer: Not an EU store and won't sell there. We just like the banner for the cookies.
I loved the custom options but the bar is no longer technically GDPR compliant. That being said, if you don't need your store to be GDPR compliant but still want a cookie banner, I really do recommend this app! Pros: customizable and super easy to use Cons: does not allow the user to opt into only some cookie options or deny all non necessary cookies. Hi there, thanks for the feedback - we appreciate it. As noted in the app listing page: "Note: enabling of the app does not guarantee that your store is fully compliant with GDPR. The app provides a cookie consent bar - it's up to you to complete other compliance steps." It's also mentioned inside our FAQ section, which lists all the steps needed to adhere to GDPR regulations: https://conversionbear.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/48001150567-are-you-gdpr-compliant- Our cookie banner app informs that cookies are being used. That's a very important first step towards a compliant store. Over 8,000 stores are currently using our modern and customisable cookie banner. I believe that over 100 five star reviews will vouch for our app's quality and usability. Warm regards, Jonathan. CEO @ Conversion Bear
Pretty easy to install and customize. I recommand it over the other cookie banner apps that I tried. I have only one small concern : is a way to not overwritte the default body font? I already fixed it by adding some custom css but I would prefer not to load an unused Google font.
This would be great if it was GDPR compliant which it is not. This cookie banner only informs that cookies are used but does not allow the site visitor to choose what cookies they allow. Calling 'Ultimate GDPR' EU cookie banner is misleading and false advertising. Really not sure what the point of this app is then. Thanks for the feedback. I apologize if you found the name misleading, that was not intended. As it clearly states in the app's listing: "Note: enabling of the app does not guarantee that your store is fully compliant with GDPR. The app provides a cookie consent bar - it's up to you to complete other compliance steps." It's also mentioned inside our FAQ section, which lists all the steps needed to adhere to GDPR regulations: https://conversionbear.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/48001150567-are-you-gdpr-compliant- You're right - our cookie banner app informs that cookies are being used. That's a very important first step towards a compliant store. Over 8,000 stores are currently using our modern and customisable cookie banner. I believe that over 100 five star reviews will vouch for our app's quality and usability. I hope you'll find it useful as well. Warm regards, Jonathan. CEO @ Conversion Bear
Very good app, what's more...it's completely FREE! You can custom it with CSS and JavaScript too so definitely worth your effort in installing and customizing it.
This was very simple to set up, exactly what we need. Theres also advanced options to add custom css and js so a great free app. Thank you :-)
Installed the app, setup 1-2-3, very easy and intuitive. Does the job as it should and has a nice flexible look and feel.
Really easy to set up and customize the colors. I also liked how it's a small box vs. a bar at the bottom of the page.
Another fantastic app from ConversionBear, thank you! Easy install and GDPR compliant in less than a minute. Great customisation options to make sure it looks just right on your shop.
Very customisable, with lots of options and ways to make it appear different. Seems to be working fine
Application efficace et gratuite ! J'aime beaucoup la banière discrete, contrairement à mon précédant système
This app looked great, however I tried setting this app up on my store and every time I clicked on it in my apps it took me to an error page. A bit disappointing.

Hi there, Seems like a Safari issue. You need to disable the “Prevent cross-site tracking” whenever you want to change the app settings. For some reason Apple’s API sees some apps as “threats” and doesn’t allow a connection to get through. Also, try using your desktop device. If that does not help - try downloading Chrome and setting the app from there. The issue you described is a local issue that might happen due to your local cache / cookies. The app is working perfectly fine in over 5,000 stores. If you need further assistance, we are available 24/7: support@conversionbear.com *** update: We have reached out multiple times through email yet received no response. We'll be happy to help you sort it out - our team is at your service.
Easy to install and run!! Does what it says on the box. Great free app, thank you for sharing guys.
Simple efficace configurable même pour les personne plus avancée pouvant programmer, nickel pour mon shop Merci.
Is so easy to install and you can see it right away as you install. Now I want to customize. Thanks a lot!
I've been using a couple other GDPR (free) apps for the last couple of years but I found them difficult to customize/use and I didn't love how they looked. I randomly saw this app and decided to try it out. It was SO easy to use and customize (without custom code), the result is modern and clean and I'm so so happy I found this! Will definitely be looking for more apps by these guys.
After doing extensive research, this one was the best cookie GDPR bar ever. Why? - Very elegant and customisable design - Mobile ready - Doesn't requires accessing customer and shop data (this is the most important one because some cookie bar apps requires accessing everything on your store, not sure what they do with those private information) Thanks a lot guys, Your other apps are also amazing!
Amazing!! thank you very much for the app, it works very well on our store! thank you thank you thank you
Does exactly what it needs to do! Just remember that you won't see it pop up on your own site if you're outside the EU and you've selected that it should only show for EU countries. Love this app because it's super easy to customize without code.
A really good APP, very easy to set up even for my bad English! 5 stars deserved. Very recommended thank you!
I really appreciate their kind support to instal this app on my web site. Thanks Conversion bear.....
Super easy to set up. The cookie bar banner is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for this amazing free app!
Fast and Easy. Customer Support was prompt to help and check for me. Nothing more to say the app looks great and I'm happy with that!
