Excellent app when you team it up with their other app 'add to cart' This allows for creating gift with purchases. Eg. Customer spends $50 and gets product x added to their cart automatically discounted to $0. This can be repeated multiple times at higher speeds, eg. $100, $200, to help push the cart values up. At the top of the cart is a progress bar that even allows photos of the products they are in line to get with each higher spend amount. In our store we have 4 bonus levels. On top of that you can also add a ' customers also bought..' section prompting other products they can add to the cart. Support has been excellent. I made a request to highlight some of the text and wasn't met with the usual... 'you can add that to our suggestion list..that we may or may not action in 6 months time...' Instead they said, no problem and just did it!! The Cart looks professional and once you learn the steps using both apps, (because the other app actually adds the bonus item to their cart and discounts it), you will be able to test different offers to increase your AOV. These are must have apps for shopify stores.

Excellent app for modifying the right hand block on your product pages. We wanted to add a gift with purchase that showed the product image and text explaining the offer. Other similar apps only allowed their icons whereas this one allows uploading your own image. I love how they have made every block customisable rather than just having overall styling for all blocks. Also good for adding discount code blocks, payment options ie credit card logos etc. When creating offers you can display them on specific product pages or on all product pages. This means you can create an discount code block that is for only one product and only shows there. With the higher plans I think you can refine it more by only showing to people in certain georegions. Great if you want to have a discount for locals but not for overseas buyers.

We had an AOV of $85 excluding shipping and wanted to increase it above $100. Using EG auto add to cart free gift we set up a trigger so that if a customer spends over $120, they receive a free gift valued at $29.50 RRP. As a result we have seen our AOV climbing and pushed past $100! The app has a good analytics page that shows you how it is working to increase your AOV displaying the results for customers who received bonuses compared to those that didnt. This app automatically adds the bonus item to their cart. We found the best way to achieve this was to create a duplicate product and price it at $0. Hiding that product from our store using a special metafield step - Support tells you how to do it. That way we didnt have any need for discount codes or having them clash with other codes that might apply to the same cart. To solve the issue of having 2 products with the same sku with inventory, we labelled one Product Name-GWP and added the -GWP to the SKU as well. Then used 'Bundles app' (from another provider) to create a new bundle which was the Bonus product (free) version, and assign one unit of the real $$ product to the bundle. That way every time the bonus free one was given out, it would deduct inventory from the full priced product version automatically. EG have another app that creates a slide in sidecart and suggested products to add to your order. You can also have the same messaging in the side cart about the gift with purchase. I recommend giving that one a go as they work well together. Support have been excellent to deal with. Hope that helps. :-)

Good for switching from Shopify Ebay in built app. Seemed to be seamless. Haven't had a chance to go in depth yet, but for just continuing things as they were seems fine.

Really the features in this app should be built into shopify, but since they are too lazy to add more functionality, we are lucky to have the team at Gookit come up with a great solution. Im sure lots of customers are using this to print barcode labels on their products which it will do very well, but for our situation I wanted a way to label our shelves in the packing warehouse with helpful labels to make it easy for staff restocking the shelves and for packers to pick the correct items. The solution was to buy 50mm magnet tape, cut a 150mm strip and then stick a good looking sticker from this app onto the magnet so we can move it if we need to adjust the stock location. The app allowed me to define the exact size of the labels I was using, Add formatted text Add a colour photo of the product automatically (it grabs the image from shopify) Add the products barcode (in case we need that in the future) Add a QR code with it linking to the shopify product page. (This means our staff that refill the shelves can whip out their phone, when they see a shelves stock is low, and scan the QR to instantly see the product page in shopify and if we have any more in stock in our bulk stock warehouse rather than annoying the warehouse manager asking if we have stock. I was also able to automatically add the products supplier name (vendor) Now label printers are usually only black on white but I wanted to have a colour photo of the product on the label as some of our staff are visual and need a colour photo. The solution was to purchase A4 sheets of labels and print on our colour office printer. This app even has a feature that you can select which label you are up to on the sheet. So if you have already used a few stickers on a sheet you can select the next available label on the sheet meaning no wastage of having to start a new sheet. Im terrible at learning new software but I was able to pick this one with ease and not even refer to the help screen it was so logical. Well done to the team and the smart person who designed this app. I'm very happy to recommend this one. I haven't needed this feature but you can make the QR code link to a custom url or a metafield from shopify. Improvements? The only other feature I can think of is being able to add divider lines or boxes on labels. At the time of writing I could add Text (with all the usual Formatting options) Image Barcode QR code. Im sure they will add that in the near future. Overall an excellent app.

Finally a solution to having accurate inventory values. Quick summary: Merchbee allows you to filter out variants you want to exclude from the inventory count! Detailed explainer why this is important: We have over 200 products in our store and some of these are package deal bundles. eg. A package deal includes 1 of product A 5 of product B 2 of product C We use another app called Bundles to create these and keep the original inventory numbers updated. So if someone buys the above package deal, the inventory of those individual products has to automatically be reduced. Product A has inventory reduced by 1 Product B has inventory reduced by 5 Product C has inventory reduced by 2 all done automatically by the Bundles app. Brilliant! But then we have a new problem because the Bundles app is showing all these package deals as inventory in Shopify (based on the amount of stock available as individual products.) In the above example if we had 50 of each of the individual Product A,B,C in stock that would allow us to make up a maximum of 10 of the above package deals (because product B requires 5 units) Shopify thinks.. Product A,B,C have 50 each PLUS Our package Deal has 10 (that could be made using these products) and adds it together causing an overinflated inventory. We have been using other apps like Ordermetrics which does this and is very annoying. This Merchbees app allows you to exclude selected variants from the inventory count. So I can go through and exclude the bundles and have it only count the individual products. So I went through and excluded any variant that is a 2 pack, 3 pack, Kit, Package deal and left all the individual products in the count. And then even better, I can save that as a preset and adjust it later as we introduce more bundle deals which need to be excluded. Hope that explainer helps someone. I find the app demo videos a bit useless in practical terms. Great app and worth $2.99 a month to know what money we have tied up in inventory. The only thing is doesnt have is the ability to look at a particular date in the past to know the inventory. For accounting this would be good.. Sometimes the accountant says I need to know your inventory at the end of last month. Great if you were organised and did it on the 30th of the month, not so good if you miss it and are a week or more late. Im sure Merchbees will have that as a upcoming feature. :-) Hi there, we are happy to announce that your feature request is available! You can access historical inventory value with montly or weekly snapshots!
