Good app for creating price tags easily in-store. Recommend!

Good product that keeps up with changes in Shopify. As Shopify is sunsetting the Stocky app, we needed a new way of printing labels and now we are able to do so via Transfers in Shopify. I had a question about a scanning issue with CODE128 barcodes and recieved excellent support.
We have had a positive experience with the BarcodeMan Barcode Labels app. We like the customizable templates. Support has always been quick to respond and helpful. They are also receptive to suggestions for future features to the apps.

We love Barcode Man! Fun name, easy interface, great cost, quality printing, and very helpful support staff. We switched our website host from Wix to Shopify and Mallory helped us by manually transferring each template we already had to our new account. Everything was done quickly and she kept in touch each step of the way. I recommend this app for your store if you want to stop struggling with barcode variants, etc.

We run a large inventory across our brick-and-mortar stores and BarcodeMan has been an absolute life saver for printing shelf tags. Setup was quick and straightforward, and it’s very easy to use day to day. The support team is active and helpful, and the app even lets us pull data from metafields — a feature many other apps still don’t offer. The best part for us was being able to set up custom paper and label sizes, which has made the whole process seamless. The printing options, meet real life needs, whether it be a shelf tag or sticky labels you to put onto each item. Highly recommended!
Initial response time was a bit slower than I would have hoped however once the help process was initiated Mallory was an exceptional help and talked us through step by step instructions. Great app - easy to use!

It is confusing. When you go to use the resources they are also unhelpful. How come I can't find my previously created labels? How come I can't even get my barcode sheet to download without the program shutting down? How come the FAQ and any other resource is not useful? This has been so aggravating and annoying.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. It does what I need it to do and when I've run into issues setting things up, help has been responsive and thorough. But I wish it would still open automatically in a new tab like it used to (and like my other apps do).
Easy to use, very versatile app. Set up was super simple. Pricing is very fair. I have off-brand printers and labels that are often not found on the US centric label size options so this app has been really great for making my own templates. It supports multiple barcode types like UPC, EAN and CODE39 which was something very important for us as we carry brands from around the world. The option to add custom text and barcodes is also great as it allows you to have two separate barcodes if you need for example to specify a separate barcode for a master case. I'm extremely happy with Barcode Man and will be using it for a long time to come.
Free version is text only - no barcodes. Not useful. I do not want to a monthly fee for a barcode maker - or even provide CC info for a trial version to find out if it is useful.
This application was very useful before the last update. Before the update, the list of products was in order of creation; since this update, the products are in alphabetical order. That a big issue for our business. Otherwise, it's great!
Update: The fixed the issue and offered me a 2 months refund. I thank them for their assistance. The app used to work great but since the update it always crashes when generating labels. Basically the app takes the original product image (which is usually large in size) instead of using cdn to get a lighter image from Shopify, and this is causing issues. I informed support but they didn't fix it so now I will have to find a similar app.

I have been using barcode man for over year now. We started implementing it with WIX and now we're migrating to Shopify. So far it seem like we can continue using all of our original SKUs and bracodes which will save hundreds of ours from re-pricing all of our inventory in our brick and mortars. Lots of ways to customize your templates too. And it's great that you can create custom size template... you are not limited to only a handful of default sizes like the app that Shopify pushes. Quick and easy to setup too. It should only take you a couple minute to be fully up and running. We use Dymo label printers—no issues. I only need to reach out to support once during the migration, and I heard back from them in the same day. Support is big for me as a user, so I would prefer another option to speak to someone in real time.
Exactly what I was looking for to help with my shopify shop. Love how I can alter and change what is on my barcodes from my retail side to wholesale easy. I have also had to reach out to support and my question have been answered in a timely manner also.
I've recently started using "Barcode Man ‑ Label Printing" and it's honestly the best label printing app I've come across. Before this, I tried many different apps for my label and hang tag printing needs, but none of them match up to Barcode Man. It's incredibly user-friendly and operates smoothly, making it a hassle-free experience. The app's ability to create custom labels is a huge plus. It's super easy to add texts and metafields, which saves a lot of time. Also, being able to put product images or variant images on the labels is a game-changer for my business. It makes the labels look professional and tailored to each item. But what really sets this app apart is the customer service, particularly the assistance from Will. I had a feature in mind that the app didn't offer, so I reached out to customer service. To my surprise, they added this feature in just a couple of days after my request! There is no better option for creating physical retail price labels on Shopify. This app is extremely robust, has built in templates for basically every possible label roll and sheet combination, and offers an intuitive label designer that is not only easy to use but is very powerful. Top tier!
I have tried for over an hour to get the barcodes to scan and they don’t. Shopify does not recognize them. I have read and tried all the suggestions.

Not to be overlooked! If you're seeking a simple, yet robust app to print price tags and product labels, Barcode Man is the best option in my opinion. I've tested quite a few such apps, and none are as versatile yet "to the point". It provides a visual UI to design precise tag layouts, can generate unique barcode values, supports complex metafields, and the monthly rate is more than fair relative to features offered and compared to the competition. Barcode Man customer support/devs are very responsive, helpful, and are GENUINELY interested in feedback to improve functionality through continued development. Five stars all the way.
Perfect! Exactly what we needed! This will allow me to set up a "backroom" account where users can print off barcodes easily without permissions to anything else. The interface was easy to learn. Love all the customization options. And the price is great! Perfect app, absolutely 5 stars!
I went through a number of apps looking for the right fit. This app provides me the customization I needed. When I wasn't able to get quite what I wanted Will was very helpful. He responded to my question quickly and with the customization exactly as I was hoping for. It is simple to set up and use, and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Pretty nice app, but there is absent a very import feature, as on my opinion. It is printing labels from purchase order. I see that I can print labels from my online orders, that is absolutely useless. I need to print labels when I receiving my good, but not when I already sold them. Excellent and easy to use app! If you can make a design with publisher or canva, this click and drag label designer is for you! It's so simple and has made our migration to shopify much easier! Plus, they are so helpful to answer our questions on live chat. Not immediately, but within a reasonable amount of time. Very happy we found barcode man!

Really the features in this app should be built into shopify, but since they are too lazy to add more functionality, we are lucky to have the team at Gookit come up with a great solution. Im sure lots of customers are using this to print barcode labels on their products which it will do very well, but for our situation I wanted a way to label our shelves in the packing warehouse with helpful labels to make it easy for staff restocking the shelves and for packers to pick the correct items. The solution was to buy 50mm magnet tape, cut a 150mm strip and then stick a good looking sticker from this app onto the magnet so we can move it if we need to adjust the stock location. The app allowed me to define the exact size of the labels I was using, Add formatted text Add a colour photo of the product automatically (it grabs the image from shopify) Add the products barcode (in case we need that in the future) Add a QR code with it linking to the shopify product page. (This means our staff that refill the shelves can whip out their phone, when they see a shelves stock is low, and scan the QR to instantly see the product page in shopify and if we have any more in stock in our bulk stock warehouse rather than annoying the warehouse manager asking if we have stock. I was also able to automatically add the products supplier name (vendor) Now label printers are usually only black on white but I wanted to have a colour photo of the product on the label as some of our staff are visual and need a colour photo. The solution was to purchase A4 sheets of labels and print on our colour office printer. This app even has a feature that you can select which label you are up to on the sheet. So if you have already used a few stickers on a sheet you can select the next available label on the sheet meaning no wastage of having to start a new sheet. Im terrible at learning new software but I was able to pick this one with ease and not even refer to the help screen it was so logical. Well done to the team and the smart person who designed this app. I'm very happy to recommend this one. I haven't needed this feature but you can make the QR code link to a custom url or a metafield from shopify. Improvements? The only other feature I can think of is being able to add divider lines or boxes on labels. At the time of writing I could add Text (with all the usual Formatting options) Image Barcode QR code. Im sure they will add that in the near future. Overall an excellent app.
Amazing app! We are able to add QR codes to our barcode labels, which is really going to help our customer experience in store. The team are also super helpful with all query's and respond super fast! They even added a new feature for us! Highly recommend this app!
We tried the Shopify app to generate and print barcodes, but it was constraining and full of limitations. We then installed Barcode Man, and already, by default, it offers MUCH more flexibility. Yes, the app is not 100% perfect, BUT, if you contact them and ask them to adjust some things, they will happily do that for you. For the price, absolutely worth it. If you're looking to generate and print barcodes for your Shopify store, 3 words for you: go for it!
This has been the only app that allowed us to print barbell or jewelry labels WHILE customizing the fields to display. Other apps only allowed either barcode and price or price and description. This has been a life saver. Thank you, DEVELOPERS! This app allows you to create your own template ANY SIZE! and select whatever fields you want to display. So far I am pleased with the app. I am able to create product shelf tags with no problem. I reached out to customer service about resizing product names on tags and they got back to me within 12 hours with solution and even created new template for me to use. This app is exactly what we needed to have all our factories and partners print out barcodes easily, on brand and accurate. Everyone runs off a login with controlled permissions and it’s super straight forward to use. We even worked with Will directly to get an all caps feature added before our launch of using this product. its a good app however the printing is horrible , they stated that i need to purchase higher DPI printer , i am using the most common label printing Zebra ZD410 Hello NYCK, thanks for the review. Our app offers a fully-customized layout design for the merchants, including images and the capability of moving label elements. It needs a higher dpi than other solutions. About the issue, we have checked for you. In terms of Zebra, ZD410 has two dpi settings; you may need to adjust dpi with your printer dialog. The manual said: 56mm (2.20 inches) max @ 203 dpi • 54mm (2.12 inches) max @ 300 dpi We will add the printer configuration tutorial based on your case. We appreciate your feedback, and the information will make our app better. Not impressed. You app has nothing to do with Shopify. It's just a database to label printer app. It is very primitive. It is glitchy to run and locks up almost every time I use it. Plus I can't print barcodes unless I buy the Pro ver. So it's not a barcode app. It's a label printing app. Maybe offer a free version that prints only 100 SKU of barcode so the little buys can get a taste of it. Our app is to help merchant to turn their data into barcode labels. It doesn't have to pre-subscribe to the app for the free trial. In other words, you simply click the free trial button, and you can get the full feature for 7-days without any subscription dialog. You can print unlimited labels even on the free plan. We're using the app to create our product labels. We were looking for a solution where we can directly create the barcodes (EAN-13 & QR) in the layout we needed - Barcode Man is a great solution! Really easy to use interface, the design choices (fonts etc.) are fine for us. Bust most importantly: the customer service is amazing! We had a request for a feature that wasn't included yet, and Will was so nice and directly started working on a fix for us.
Excellent app for creating barcodes and printing product labels! Love the new update with an offline feature that allows me to not lose products I am working with when I lose an internet connection! Customer Service was very responsive to questions and quickly addressed my needs. Highly recommend this app! Tip for initial label set up - make sure to look at the options on the sidebar of each label category that can be added. Edit your price format with the decimal option (I set mine to 0 since all my products are priced in whole dollar amounts)
It is simple to use app. Designing is fairly simple. With a little know how of your printer, you can easily use this app as well.
Use any label and format price tags as I want them! I hate paying for apps, but gladly pay for this.
We have a high SKU count business and we were looking for a more automated solution to generate barcodes for new products. The Barcode Man app was the only product we researched that could do this fairly easily, and affordably. We had some questions through the process and Will provded quick support, with videos to illustrate exactly how to execute. We provided some feedback that they were generating codes that started with 0 (which our warehouse does not accept), and they pushed out a fix within a day. Definitely recommend using this app to simplify your barcode creation process, even if you don't intend to use the print feature to stick a physical label on items.
I needed an app for making product labels for our 150+ teas for retail purpose. Flexibility and user friendliness was key. Before all labels text (contents, preparing instructions i.e) was written for each product and printed out from Apple pages. With the new version 2.0 we are able to sort out text bits from our product descriptions in Shopify, so we only need to create a few templates and use these to auto-create various labels. This saves us a lot of time and makes it so much easier to implement new products. The app is getting more and more versatile. Recently we started using it for barcode labels to all stock items and price labels, making stock counting so much easier. Finally we have been very pleased by the excellent support from Will, who has listened to all our suggestions and implemented a lot of them in the new version. Thank you for a great app guys! Lars
Excellent app, allows for labels using metafields. We use it to make product labels. Would be nice if we can select languages for product title and description fields though
Thrilled with this app. So easy to implement, and the ability to generate custom barcodes is exactly what we needed. The labels look completely custom. Had a minor issue, which I caused, and they were so quick to jump in and fix things for me.
This app really helped us with really complex label prints for a very special customer. It handles meta-fields, barcodes, you name it. And they are very quick on correcting and implementing needed features.
Such a great app and an awesome support/developer. We've been waiting for so long to find an affordable app that gets the job done and when we had an issue their team was very responsive and they even created a short video for us to help us out. Highly recommend!
COMPLETELY transformed our barcode process! The customizable designs allowed us to streamline our printing so that we only need one label now, since we can include date codes and custom text. As easy as working with a Word or Publisher document. Because you can set a custom label size, we're able to use up all our Online Label stock. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH!!!

パーツのレイアウトをマウスで簡単に行えるので、重宝しています。 作成したラベルはPDFでダウンロードしてbrother QL-800でプリントが可能。 ただし、設定できる項目はあまり多くないので項目を多く入れたい場合は、Printout Designerなどが良いかもしれません。 枚数制限がないところも助かります。
I use this app to print my barcode stickers for my store. The app is ok BUT I have to confirm the format for my template EVERY SINGLE TIME I use it even though it's saved. Aside from that, it's easy to use and does the job!

This app is very easy to use when creating barcode labels. I like that it is customizable. I wish the "check out the videos" box didn't pop up every time.

Extremely useful app, and the customer service is impeccable! The user interface of this app should be used in teaching developers how to make apps comprehensive even for non-technical users.
