Very useful import tool - especially if you don't always work via APIs

Thank you for the detailed and honest feedback! 🫶
We've been using the shopify app now for a couple months. We've found the company is very good about closing gaps and provides excellent support. Overall, we're very happy with the company and are exploring their other shopify apps based on the positive experience.
DO NOT USE THIS APP. This app is incomplete and has major uncorrected defects. The support team google has put on this app doesn't support it and creates additional issues. Further, with its limited functions, it will lead you into a dead-end. Based on our experience using Google Merchant for a decade, do not use this app.
1) If you click you're having a bad experience with Shop App, it just spins and spins and never takes you anywhere. If you click you're having a good experience, the link to leave a review here opens up immediately. 2) If you have a customer who pays with Shop App and Shop Pay on installment, now Shopify keeps charging the customer monthly installments even after you've put in the cancel the order and refund the customer's money back. That's very bad.
Bulk Discount Code Generator is a great, easy to use app. We don't say this often, but we couldn't be anymore pleased with this app. We're able load 10,000 discount codes at a time with no issues and no limit. We were able to simply copy an paste our codes into the app. The app even estimated for us how long the load would take Shopify to integrate (a couple minutes) and told us when we had accidentally loaded duplicate codes (great feature.) We ran this app through its paces, testing it with virtually every discount control option Shopify offers for discount codes - this app passed with flying colors. No issues. We found the apps features & interface blend seamlessly into Shopify - we wouldn't know it wasn't part of Shopify if we hadn't added it ourselves. Finally, We received terrific support from Seguno, the company that developed this - we're checking out their other Shopify apps now.
We've been using CrushPics for six years now and received nothing but great support and reliable compression which has kept our site a fast upload plus SEO friendly image re-titling and alt text. We found Crush.pcs app Is very easy to use and automate setup, Has great customer support, Works great at compression, Works great with SEO file renaming, and Has very fast queuing->image compression after posting (no waiting).
Great support, great options, and what a great app! We have tried other Shopify Apps to do updates on our descriptions. Having tried others, this is the ONLY app we trust to update our product descriptions. The precision and cleanliness with which this app works, is just lovely...for lack of a better word. We use it for all our bulk updates on our product descriptions.
We had high hopes for this app. Sadly, in our experience this app appears to contain multiple software bugs and issues. For example, 1) if we find and replace strings with an ( or [, but don't have a ) or ] in the replace - the app shows it will make multiple incorrect replacements. 2) In trying to replace strings, the app will sometimes fail, but act as if it has replaced the string, but the strings will still be in the products unchanged even hours later (so not a caching issue). Even re-caching the app doesn't appear to help. 3) The App leaves cumulative strings in the text whenever we replace a string with nothing. Unfortunately, these keep accumulating until we can't replace string because we have to figure out all the strings left in our descriptions. The app provides now way to remove these, for example with a normal space. So it causes us problems as you might imagine. 4) The app fails when you attempt to replace a string to with a standard space. For example, app can't find two standard spaces replace them with one standard space. 5) The app will overwrite entire product descriptions instead of simply reversing the replacement of text. So be very, very careful or you could set your product updates back months. We've tried on multiple occasion to request support, but while admitting the issues we understood they are declining to correct the apparent bugs, noting that the app is old. It is unfortunate. On the Plus side, the app has a nice BEFORE and AFTER image and the app works quickly. These are both nice features. Hello, as we explained to you, this application is created to satisfy our users and we update it according to their expectations. If the functions you want are not present in the app, it is because it does not interest our customers and could disrupt the proper functioning of the use of the app for them.
Based on our experience, be very careful with Klaviyo billing. Even if you turn plan auto-upgrade OFF, Klaviyo turns ON the auto upgrade in their billing forms if you upgrade via a campaign. With this, Klaviyo will over-ride your selected plan choice, up-charging you 100% more than you agreed or needed in our case. Plus Klaviyo says they have specific policy that they do not provide refunds when you fall into their auto-upgrade bucket. So be careful to look for auto-checked boxes as we found in our experience can double your cost with no benefit and absolutely no refunds.
Yagi support is actually amazing. Yagi is a perfect fit and because the app makers are incredibly responsive and helpful. We do a huge number of pre-orders and using Yagi Address Edit Helper helped us. Some highlights, but definitely not all: 1) Place shipping address changes on actual Shopify Orders (not the Shopify customer record) meaning you can ask your customers do self-serve edit, 2) Added option to auto email the Shopify Order Update Notification to customer who successfully updated or confirmed their address, 3) Added option to allow Partially Fulfilled orders to get address updates by customers. This among the many other features they include. We could not ask more of Shopify App maker. We're looking forward to long history with Yagi Address Edit Helper and now (with support like this) we're also looking at their other apps, Yagi Order Cancellable, Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper.
LangShop support is very responsive. Go with LangShop not just for the app, but for the excellent Customer Service: -Our shop is translated into 20 different languages, -LangShop gives us excellent customer service, -LangShop provides a service phone number you can call, -LangShop has repeatedly helped us successfully negotiate many hurdles. (Including tricky issues related to non-western character sets.) -LangShop coordinated Shopify support on our behalf and got us the combined support we needed. LangShop isn't just an app, but a Partner who will resolve issues and help your shop achieve your goals.

Thank you very much for using our app and for staying with us for such a long time. We plan to continue improving Langshop and hope that you enjoy it further.
Very happy with the App. The App allowed us to add lots of customized rates with easy to use setup Wizards. Plus great, fast customer service! We'd already installed and had received responses to our initial setup questions with the app publisher before some of the other apps we'd looked at even replied to let us know they'd received our initial inquiry into their apps. We've been using the app now for about 2 months and right on point, easy to understand, hand written (not automated) support replies come back very quickly. We couldn't be more happy with this app and the support we've received.
Shopify / FB should decide if it is making apps for Professionals or Enthusiasts. Only a professional IT person could get through the hurdles to make this app work, but only a non-professional would be interested in the app’s stunted fb campaign features. Congratulations Shopify, thus this app will make almost no one happy. :-) -5 stars for the catalog service - great. -2 stars for the campaign setup - not good. -Can’t link or talk to fb ad accounts even when using the same pixel. -Can only setup mini-stub campaigns with virtually zero fb options Available. -Can’t connect to campaigns setup in fb (which is the only way to the options) -Can’t report back results to Shopify dash board (except the in-app mini stubb campaigns. The catalog service is good. Perhaps just use that. That’s what we do. PS Shopify it is like the Ragu Spaghetti Sauce Business Case. The answer after 25 years of research is there is no single most popular flavor. That’s why every maker makes 5 different flavors today. Make an app for the professionals with either full fb connectivity or full in app campaign features. Make a separate app for the enthusiasts and beginners that’s easy. We see the problem and hence gave it 3 stars - notice how that’s the lowest picked rating...there is no middle ground. Signed, Enterprise Architect for Anthem Corporation (Retired)

We're happily using Seguno to advertise our Black Friday Sale to our existing customer base for the first time. Seguno is a flexible, robust solution. We're new to the setup, but we're finding it easy as the Seguno setup is modelled to work and look exactly like Shopify Theme setup. We look forward to using Seguno for many Sales and Discount announcements to come.
