Got this specifically to keep free downloads from being "purchased" by Australian customers (I don't sell to AU). Installed, two days later an Australian customer purchased a download. And no, not using a VPN or any other IP redirect or disguise software.

We are really sorry for the inconvenience. It might be due to the use of a VPN, which can hide your location and cause issues. We recommend enabling the VPN blocking functionality in our app for a better experience. If you need further assistance, please contact us at info@kedra.io. Thank you for your understanding.
The customer service on this app rocks! They actually found a mistake another app developer made and fixed it. Yay!

That's awesome to hear! It’s great when support goes the extra mile to help out. If you have any more issues or need further assistance, just let me know!
the good: easy to use, free if you're only doing a few products the bad: doesn't honor templates, doesn't always get the draft/active status right, and only imports a single photo Kind of a pain in the neck but it's marginally better than a plain csv import. I've sent you an email from hello@programmerhat.com these are all simple problems and I can fix them tonight. * the app CAN do multiple images -- however they have to be in separate columns "image 1", "image 2", etc. I have a hunch your CSV was putting all images in one column, separated by a comma or semicolon. * the draft/active status should always be right. Can I see the CSV you're trying to use? (app doesn't save CSVs on server).
After a harrowing experience with another notify restock app, I was looking for something that would handle my fairly rare, yet significant, restock requests. Installed Restock Rocket, customized a few colors easily. When I ran into a snag (probably user error) the developer was immediately available and very helpful; got things sorted quickly. Very happy!
If this actually worked then it would be great. Single Shopify and multiple Etsy shops looks ok but orders take over seven hours to update. More issues start happening when you've got multiple Shopify stores. Support is only so-so. Definitely not in US so there's hours lag time if you're working in the afternoon. They rely on one of those chat things so tiny typing and no differentiation between issues. App developer apologizes a lot.
What's clear from developer's response is that they have zero interest in fixing their app or discovering what went wrong. He's gotten into a barrage of denials. Ask yourself if something goes wrong do you want debugging or griping? Terrible app, completely f's up your inventory across multiple channels, specifically Etsy. Confuses different shops, pulls products out of archive on Shopify(!), makes stuff active on one Etsy shop when it should be assoc. with another. If you're trying to sync Shopify with Etsy then good luck - over 40 listings are newly renewed across two Etsy shops. What's hilarious about this is that I got two orders on Etsy during the debacle and, yup, you guessed it - inventory didn't update. And these reviews saying "team is responsive?" Fake. Not sure why Shopify is leaving this app up. So the issue with "getting a call" or "getting help" is that the app is gone from my shop. I don't need "help" and no amount of speaking on the phone will fix the issues. And, why would I invite a call where the developer is calling me a liar and saying that my entire review is a lie in emails? Yah, right. App developers need to understand the Etsy platform in order to manage inventory there. In no circumstances should listings be moved from de-active to active without confirmation. In no circumstances should listings be duplicated across Etsy shops - Etsy is very clear about this. Duplicate listing is cause for shop closure - all shops assoc. with same IP. Seriously? Why risk it? Note: edited for succinctness

Hey there, First and foremost I feel sorry for the bad experience you had with our app. I am sure there are things which we can improve. However the strong language you have used in unwarranted for. You installed our app yesterday night 11pm (my local time). You gave us a 1 star rating review with abuses today at 1am (my local time). Which is just 2 hours after you had installed the app. Then you sent us an abusive support ticket today at 2am (my local time). I got up and first thing I do is reply you at 6:30am (my local time). I responded in 4.5 hours. I asked you to come for a call so that I can resolve your concerns. You refused to come for a call. UPDATE: I had to mention the timestamps because the reviewer posted that we replied to her support ticket in 48 hours! On catching red handed, she had to edit her review and remove this line. UPDATE: We ran tests to find out what caused the issue raised in the review. We found out that there is a bug in the Etsy API which is sending incorrect results. This has been reported to the Etsy team. We have also updated our system to discard the incorrect data. To clarify, 1. Sumtracker does not sync draft or archived products. We have a help page clearly mentioning that. We only sync active products. 2. Sumtracker will make an inactive Etsy listing, active only if you have available inventory for the product. Which is the logical step to do. This can be confirmed from the 200 plus Etsy sellers who use Sumtracker. 3. Sumtracker cannot create products on any platform. I challenge you to demonstrate that Sumtracker has created duplicate listings on your store. Software systems are complicated and we cannot control if there is an issue in an external system which is unexpected. We have extensively tested our system and implemented additional checks for unexpected behaviours. I hope the reviewer can see the effort we have put in. Sumtracker Team
good idea, painful implementation Working on a backup scheme so that I can delete my archived products from my store. Syncimg has the right idea but missing some key features. This will transfer images from every product into your Dropbox. You don't get to choose. If you've got a huge catalog you'll run out of space in Dropbox pretty quick. App gets "stuck" with no error or warning message. Dinged a star because their support email seems non-existent. I may re-subscribe to this if they can fix these issues.
So far so good. It's hard to tell if you've actually prevented someone from cutting/pasting your text or downloading your images.
Rare five star rating for me. Simple and straightforward to use, cheap non-subscription option, and stellar customer service. Great app!
Simple and to the point. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Thank you for providing this straightforward and reliable app.
Updated: OMG! Do not install this app! You will be hounded, badgered, antagonized, and emailed incessantly. It will not stop despite asking them to stop. You've been warned Installed this app and discovered in less than 15 minutes that it wouldn't work for me - used the Shopify uninstaller to remove. App left a ton of files and mods in my theme files. I left a not-good review. In less than two days I've received over ten emails in increasing aggressiveness and two phone calls (went to message) in the middle of the night. Apparently there is a prescribed way that I'm supposed to uninstall. >>Note that if the description about the app had been complete I would never have installed in the first place. >>If the description had been complete and stated "please use guide to uninstall" I would have used the method. But no. After email #10 saying I should use the guide. I replied "I'm busy, I'll get to it." And now email #11 from Tapita saying no, not good enough, get to it now, give us access to your store. No freekin' way would I ever give these guys access! I've downgraded my review to the lowest number of stars possible. I'm sure the app works fine for some things but beware if you ever need to uninstall. You will be hounded.

Hi, This is Keenan from Tapita again. I apologize for the fact that you did not know that there was a guide for the uninstallation. Max and I (both Tapita founders) did reach out with our personal emails twice using the same thread since we care deeply about our users' experiences. A 2 star review means a failure, and we tend to be relentless toward failure, meaning we will do everything that we can to help our customers. We reacted immediately when we saw the review, and I apologize if our actions were seen as aggressive. Usually this takes 2 minutes to get done if the customer reaches out, so the fact that the review came out of nowhere actually worried us and we acted immediately. We get hundreds of uninstalls each week, and we understand the product is not for everyone, even though it is our dream for Tapita. So No, we will not bother anyone that uninstalls. We do send out a couple of emails if the user leaves a comment, but we simply do not have the resources to personally reach out to all of them. Your case was completely different as the bad review can create a fault image toward our support and product. Again, this is just a total misunderstanding of something that can be done within minutes. I believe you are working extremely hard, as does the team here at Tapita. You wouldn't say no if, for example, you know you can help your customer, right? I hope your uninstallation has been resolved. If not please hop on chat and we should get that done for you in now time. Regards, Keenan
Well huh. That was easy. If you've got confusion over SEO and don't know where to start, this app is a welcome, easy to use, knock-the-low-hanging-fruit-off-the-tree, SEO helper. If you're dithering, go ahead and fix your Alt Text with this app now. Thank you so much for your review :) Glad you found the app easy to use. Arjun, Co-founder
If you install this app, be prepared to configure and use immediately. App is "on" even tho' you have not configured any menus. Immediately alters theme files and does not do a clean uninstall. My shop was left with a big white space at the top and I had to do a diff with a backup theme copy to find the affected areas. Not a huge inconvenience but a bit frightening when you look at your shop.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. As discussed through email, It was due to a temporary glitch in the system. We'll make sure that It'll never repeat again in the future. Thank you so much for your feedback and support.
Bait and switch. Nothing is said about how the stock syncing is a separate plan AND lowest level cost is $29/month. Even spoke with support pre-install and asked specifically about stock syncing and they made no mention of a separate plan. Even if the stock syncing worked (which BTW doesn't look right on their admin panel for multiple Etsy shops) I would not use/buy this app because of their subterfuge. Updated: So now app developer is saying I should have gone to their website and should have known the inventory syncing was a different thing. Why wouldn't I think all the information I needed was presented on the Shopify App Store? As far as the pricing... First page within the app that mentions inventory syncing says $29/month - gee, so I was supposed to research further to know that they really would charge me something else? Developer's choice then is to be argumentative and tell me I'm being unfair? Best practice is always transparency.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review! I must correct a few things, please – first, the website and Shuttle's dashboard clearly separate between Shuttle's Base plans and the Syncing plans, also, the lowest cost of a Syncing plan is 15USD (which can be seen in the subscriptions page and on the website, which I assume you have not visited). Shuttle comes in tiers, which allows you to pay only for the features you need, to ensure you are not overpaying for stuff that you don't plan to use. You have never asked us regarding plans, pricing or subscriptions – we have answered all your questions clearly. I don't feel it's fair to leave a bad review for an app you haven't tried (you were still on free trial, and have not used any of its features). You also blame us of deceiving our customers, which is extremely unkind – even though all the information is easily available through the website or our dashboard. We do not hide anything from our users. I'm sorry Shuttle did not fit your needs, but from there to leave a bad review while accusing us of subterfuge - that's not very kind of you. Best! Nimo
The issue is changing the customer account data with no way to track the changes. This is basic. Zero stars! I added this app to test it to see if it would work for my shop. Uninstalled without incident. While I'm looking thru my customers, I see a little note "Omnisend added phone number XXXXX to this customer yesterday" There's no tag, no note, no message from Omnisend app that they're altering my customer's data. Why?
Developer reply ·
Hi there, and thank you for your review! Due to the two-way sync with Shopify, if a customer adds a phone number in Omnisend, this data is also sent to Shopify. This is why the "Omnisend added phone number" notice appears in the Shopify customer timeline. All permissions required to use the program are granted only once, at installation. All of these are detailed in our Terms of Use, which our users agree to when they create an Omnisend account. Our support representative has already contacted you to provide you with additional information on this topic. Have a wonderful day!
Stumbled across this app while looking for ways to gain an edge over my competitors - installation was quick, app customization was very easy thanks to Marcus, one of the developers. Can't wait to turn my store on to see what my customers think!
Disappointed that this app does not work with collections or "shopify smart collections" as they are known. Also does not work with pre-existing tags. Ouch! I have *a lot* of collections and they are all made using tags/conditions. Why is this app is charging $20/month? Seems overpriced for less functionality than other sales apps.
Update: Worse. I'm downgrading from my original two star review to a single stare. Customer service is nightmarish. When they won't answer a question and you explain to them what you're asking they become incredibly rude and threaten "report to Shopify." Report what exactly? Each reply is a promotional marketing about how easy their app is to use. They just won't answer questions. And. If you meekly follow their recommendations you'll be advertising for this app with every post. Why? Because they add the Outfy hashtags to your products. While this might seem innocent enough, I personally have an issue with them piggybacking onto my posts. App is not free. Caution when using this app. It's not picky about how it posts. I have another app that does some price fixing and Outfy does not honor the real price - tried with Facebook and with Pinterest - Outfy even goes so far as to strip my price app from my website's linked page and displays my web page with the wrong price! Yikes.
Tried using this to get a simple dynamic product group to show on my WordPress blog (because we all know how awful the built in Shopify blogging is). Kinda buggy. You can't just install one app, you must install this app plus the SEO by the same company. Obviously not a deal killer but also not noted anywhere. The app has several display options, the one I wanted was a simple tiled grouping. Shows the images fine but part of the html from the products also shows making this look really wonky - photo of product then a bunch of html tags and text. There are a couple of other display options - I tried several but of the alternates there is a prominent branding button which while not objectionable per se, would be confusing to customers. "Do I click on the image or do I click on the button?" So in Linkcious' efforts to garner new customers for themselves, they'll confuse your customers. Which is kinda weird, no? I mean how many of my yarn customers will also have a Shopify store that they want to promote on WordPress? I imagine they'll get a lot of hits and then bounces. sigh. I imagine the premium version you could remove the branding - no mention of this on developer's website. But really $20/month to remove their branding seems kinda steep.
Awesome little add-on, easy to use, seamless, love it!
What an awesome addition to any Shopify store. Very beautiful templates and when I had a quirky customization issue the developer stepped in and fixed it for me. Quickly. Like within minutes. You can do a lot with the built in Shopify templates but when I needed to squash big orders onto one page and still make them look pro, Bjorn's templates did the trick.
