We've been really impressed with Regios Automatic Discounts so far. The app is easy to use and the support team has some creative workarounds for dealing with Shopify's limitations.
It's just plain awful. Printing labels should be a one click and done process. This is very far away from being a functional product for brick and mortar shops. Shopify is a world class e-commerce platform. We've been flatly shocked at how empty the entire Point of Sale experience has been, and this app just personifies the entire journey. Lacks basic functionality. When we onboarded with Shopify - it never occurred to us that we should ask such absurd questions like - "does your platform have a way to print labels for products that is in keeping with the fact that we live in the year 2024?" Should have asked. Here we are after a 3-month migration to Shopify - wishing we could go back in time and know better.

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. As we can completely understand the impact of this, I've gone ahead and shared your feedback with our developers to consider in future updates. - Blair, Shopify Support
The team behind Sensible Inventory Forecasting has been really great to work with. There are some unique aspects of our shop that make forecasting needs challenging and Sensible has been highly responsive to our requests and ideas. They are receptive to changes, easy to communicate with and have built a really impressive app. It's very useful in determining what products/brands we need to prioritize and the snooze feature is especially useful when transitioning to next season's product.
I've been really happy with Report Pundit so far. The library of reports is expansive, but their ability to quickly and effectively create custom reports has been great. Customer service is responsive and they have been able to create every report that we've needed thus far.
Shopify is the king of Ecom. Unrivaled. Nothing more to say there. The Point of Sale is another monster altogether. Really shocked by the limitations. We migrated from a rival POS system expecting Shopify to outshine them on all fronts. It has been precisely the opposite. The UI is slick, but the features are barebones. Digital receipts don't scan. Can't run reports on inventory adjustments. Reporting altogether is very minimal. Can't reload gift cards. Label printing is worthless. I've been working the forums like crazy trying to find workarounds for this and workarounds for that. We've had to add more than a dozen apps on top of Shopify just to get close to the functionality that we had in our old POS system. Here's the kicker - Shopify + all of the apps that we've piled on is now almost $3,000/month. We were paying $350/month with our old system for better brick and mortar functionality. We were sold on Shopify Plus as the future - and for Ecom - it probably is. But if you have a brick and mortar store - they're not close yet. Tech support has been kind and helpful, but their hands are tied by a platform that is simply lacking basic functionality for a growing physical store. I'm writing this review in hopes that these problems get fixed. If they do - I'll be right over here to fix my review. But as it stands, we feel like we got sold.

Thanks for taking the time and sharing this feedback. It's can be difficult to compare platforms, as each would have their own strengths or weaknesses. However, feel free to get in touch with us via the Shopify Help Center (https://shopify.link/vRnL) and we'd be happy so pass along your feedback to our development team. If Shopify moves forward with a new feature or platform change, then we'll be sure to announce them on the Shopify Changelog (https://shopify.link/N5vR). Cheers. -Elias, Shopify Support
Too many clicks to print a simple label. Should be one click and done. Also limits the number of barcodes that you can print to 400 at one time. We often have purchase orders that FAR exceed 400, creating a lot more work for us. It's CLOSE. But we can't ask our team to migrate from a software program that only requires one click to print a label to multiple clicks to print a label.Time is money. Money is time. Still not quite fast enough to be functional for a scaling retail business. If you're a small shop printing fewer than 100 labels/day, it probably works just fine.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We could increase the batch limit to 250 items and 600-800 for quantity, depending on the template. If you wish to give it another try, please contact our support so we can assist further. The default batch limit was designed to allow the servers to process the labels within some processing constraints, but we plan to increase it even more in the future. We've noticed that the most common label rolls have about 500-1,000 labels. Some printers restart from the top if the roll is replaced in the middle of a print job, so we often recommend making sure the roll has enough capacity before printing a larger batch. That's also one of the reasons the current default limit is more conservative. Regarding the number of clicks, we're striving to design a new version that streamlines things further. The current version has three general steps: "Selection," "Print queue," and "Print." The selection is often the slowest part of the chain, so we're looking to improve that area. Thus far, we have implemented methods to select items from CSV files, the Shopify Admin, Stocky POs, and using custom queries (called "Fast select buttons"). Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance with any of these options. Thanks again for your insight, and rest assured we are working on improving the app!
Chelsea was very helpful and responsive in getting our trial extended so we have enough time to fully test Bon for our shop. So far, so good in the app.
