Their Product Reviews Widget in Horizon theme has bugs that make it overall not functional for mobile. The theme widget doesn't have the same features as the coded version in the Reviews.io dashboard. Their support sent me a collaborator request asking for basically full access to our entire Shopify Admin account, which is extremely bad. They said they might fix the CSS Flexbox bug in 5 days, which is also a very long fix time, in my experience. I liked their AI support much better than their actual human support, but can't figure out how to go back to AI support. We're overall not happy with Reviews.io and looking at different vendors now.

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologise for the frustration this has caused. Regarding the collaborator access, our team may have been unclear. Security is paramount, and you always have full control to approve only the specific permissions you feel comfortable with. We're glad you enjoyed using our AI assistant, and we are using your feedback to ensure our human support team matches that speed and efficiency moving forward. We have reached out directly via email to fast-track a fix for you today and would love the opportunity to make this right.
It's good, but not great. I wish I could delete previous batches so my team doesn't accidentally use them for replenishing. I also wish there was a better way to understand how many codes are active in each batch. For example, we use a discount function from another app, but the discount function broke after we changed something in our tech stack which then rendered all the codes we created from Code Bulk as inactive as a result, which I had no idea that happened until prospecting customers were reaching out to our support to ask why the discount codes weren't working.

Hi there, thanks so much for the honest review! You’ll be happy to hear we recently released the **Delete Batches** feature you were looking for! You can now clean up old batches to prevent any team confusion. Regarding the inactive codes: I completely understand how frustrating it is to find out codes aren't working only after customers complain. However, Code Bulk only generates the unique codes; the rules and logic are **100% managed** by the parent discount (via Shopify or third-party apps). We simply don't have access to the internal logic of those external apps to know when they stop working. That said, we appreciate the feedback on visibility and will continue to look for ways to improve how we display batch details. Thanks again for using Code Bulk and helping us improve!
The app is ok. The selling plans targeting for discount function wasn't working properly as first. Their support was quick to respond through email, but then dropped off in response time by over a week and a half. Live chat support is expected these days, which they'd need to add in order for us to rate 5 stars.
So-called chat support "gathers context" and deflects to email support whenever they can, which is very inefficient and feels like false advertising of "live" chat support. Some features are half-baked such as their gifting feature, which is probably the least thought out and poorly delivered user experience I've ever come across in all my years using software. Gifted subscriptions sales are DOUBLE recorded (when gift is purchased by the buyer and then also redeemed by the recipient). They also take zero accountability for integrating well with Shopify, mostly deflecting to their documentation, again not helping solve the problems. Considering how much we pay them with their 1% charge on every dollar on top of Shopify's processing fees, it's completely not worth using Recharge. We look forward to choosing another subscriptions platform or building out our own replacement for Recharge in our tech stack as soon as possible. Recharge's cost is just not economical at any scale.

I hear your concerns and appreciate the honest feedback. We are always reviewing our pricing and service structure and your perspective is helpful in that process. I am sorry the experience has not matched your expectations. - Ty Bailey | VP of Services
Appstle showed lots of promise, but after trying it out we realized it was far from what we needed for our scaling subscription business. Although, they said they’ve recently revamped their analytics. They weren’t a better replacement for Recharge just yet, but perhaps we’ll give them another try in a year or so when Recharge’s outrageous fees outweigh their platform’s value. Recharge’s fees were the main reason we seriously considered Appstle.
This app worked very well for us until we switched from Liquid theme store to Hydrogen (React + remix) tech stack. They say they "support Hydrogen," but it's been a total nightmare to work with their very poor documentation and their customer support team has zero knowledge on how to integrate with Hydrogen, so it's been tons of "waiting for the tech team" on different time zones for about a month now with no avail. We also have to do the strangest hack in our product catalog with duplicated products that don't sync inventory, which really is a huge manually tracked mess that is prone to error. It's been so frustrating that we are instead exploring building our own Buy X Get Y app that will auto-add the Y product to the user's cart. We highly recommend staying away from this app if you're built on Hydrogen.

Dear Jenny, We should have offered an 1-on-1 call upfront to walk your team through the setup and bridge the timezone gap - that’s on us. But I would like to clarify that we do integrate with Headless/Hydrogen. Our public documentation is designed for headless in all tech stacks and covers both headless and third-party integrations, which may have made it harder for your devs to isolate the headless-only path. To address that, we had been already developing a seamless headless-specific solution since July and now it's completely done. Let us know if you think twice and give us a chance to support you further.
We’ve been using TW for about a year and a half now. It’s overall a good tool, not great. Perhaps they’re still a small company, but they have a ton of visual bugs to iron out. The UX is also good, but not great. Their update to the retro icons style made things less user friendly. They say the integrate with Shopify, but they are far from actually integrating. You can’t filter the Pixel data based on any order or customer tags, which makes it super limiting. It would be amazing if you could filter the Pixel table data based on specific Shopify product data such as product type, etc. We’re overall still mostly happy customers, especially with the introduction of the organic channels in the Pixel table. They do have pretty responsive customer chat support, a must have for any Shopify app. We still think it needs a lot of UX love. Just wanted to give feedback on what would make it a 5-star experience for us.
Amazing app. Horrible customer service. They have amazing reports for customer LTV, but anytime I've experienced a technical issue, it results in me not being able to access my dashboard, making it extremely difficult to run our business. It's a shame when you become reliant on such a great tool, and then get left in the dust with only email support that never gets back to you. 5-star Shopify apps have live chat support or phone support, or at the very least get back to you within 24 hours via email. Neither of these exist. May have to looking into a different LTV tool if this issue doesn't get resolved.
