Lifetimely Profit Analytics

Been using Lifetimely for about 6 years now and it’s the one app I’d genuinely fight to keep. We’re a repeat purchase business so LTV and cohort data is everything, and this is where we get it. It’s how we set CAC targets, it’s what goes in front of the board, and it’s where I look first when something feels off. The bit that matters most is the numbers are right. P&L with proper COGS and ad spend pulled in means I’m seeing actual contribution margin, not Shopify’s idea of revenue. Spend figures match Meta to the penny. Repurchase rate and time between orders have done more for our email and SMS flows than anything else we use. It’s got better every year without turning into a bloated mess, which is rare. Support’s quick and actually knows the product. If people buy from you more than once, install it.

We've used Lifetimely for many years. It's a great tool for keeping a consistent eye on your numbers and diving into what is driving retention and LTV. The tool is very visual and easy to understand, we would recommend!

Lifetimely is a powerful tool for our business - we've used it for a number of years and it has added lots of new features in that time which have made it even more useful. To be honest, we don't use it to its full potential - there is a lot it can do and we haven't even begun to make the most of it. That said, they are proactive in reaching out to tell you about new features and speak to you about what it can do - if you are wanting a clear look at data from your ecommerce store that also then provides you with actions you can take to utilise that information, then Lifetimely is a no-brainer

Love the app. Super useful for everyday ecommerce metrics, and for data that you can't get otherwise. Ideal for LTV calculations.

We have used Lifetimely across multiple stores. It is the backbone of our financial data and customer analytics. We won't be able to run the store without it.

My experience has been overall positive so far. I am still working on optimizing our setup and integrations, but so far it's been very easy to use. Shout-out to Manny in customer support, they quickly and easily helped me out when I ran into a roadblock.

This app does an excellent job of extracting important data from Shopify that the default reporting just does not do. With the MCP server setup you can prompt it easily and use the data within AI agent projects in informative ways.

I am a huge fan of Lifetimely, the data it provides is the incredibly seful for evaluating our marketing and acquisition efforts as well as the overall health of the business. As a multi-brand owner/operator, I think it is on the must have list for any growing ecom/cpg brand! I also have to give a special shoutout for the quality of support and customer care they provide - it s top notch.

I've been using Lifetimely for probably five years now. Before using Lifetimely, I was downloading all of my Shopify data, putting it into a complicated Excel spreadsheet, and calculating our gross and net profit. Switching to Lifetimely has been incredible. I haven't looked back since I switched years ago.

Lifetimely has been incredibly useful in better understanding the customer journey and what channels are driving sales. As a mid-size company, it's been incredibly useful in helping us understand what channels to focus on for long term LTV.

The daily P&L gives us true profit after ad spend and costs, and the LTV cohorts have helped us set realistic CAC targets by channel. Easy to set up and far better than our old spreadsheet. This app gives us the really valuable data we need to make critical business decisions. Our CEO recently needed an integration with our subscription app which was not supported. The Lifetimely team got right on the project and did a tight integration with the app so we could get the data we need. It was a trivial matter on our end to connect the two apps. Good Customer Support is a to priority for us as we select which Shopify apps to use and Lifetimely gets 5 stars for their support.

Lifetimely is an excellent tool. We've spent an ungodly amount on data analysts who couldn't seem to understand the logic of the lifetime value calculation we needed. Lifetimely does it correctly by default, and Sadie, our rep, understands exactly what we are looking for. This helps us make more accurate decisions on the customer acquisition front.

UPDATE: The devs were incredibly responsive and have implemented a solution! I haven't yet been able to try it out, but the speed with which they took this seriously was IMPRESSIVE! Old Version of Review: This app -seemed- amazing! Unfortunately, it groups by product name, not product ID. This means that if you've ever changed a product name (like adding 'Organic'), it will show those as separate products - making most data incorrect. Nearly all apps at this point have a product grouping feature or an ability to choose what aspect of a product to go by (product name would never be the right choice, product ID or SKU would). Lifetimely needs to figure that out ASAP, especially with it's high price point compared to its competitors.
