Regarding Google Analytics: despite saying connected, no data reflected in google analytics. Solution: manually install the tag for data to reflect on Google Analytics dashboard.
Update: Problem resolved, so far app is working fine. Initial review: This app seems like it would be quite good. Unfortunately hours of "system delays" as stated by support meant could not actually see if the app worked. On the positive side, support was responsive.
Great app, easy to use. What is even better is the excellent support from the developer. Actually went above and beyond to help resolve an issue which as it turned out *was NOT caused by this app* but another - should have known as Wrapped has always worked smoothly. Definitely recommend this app.

Brilliant features with flexible options. This app is well-thought-out, detailed, and most importantly, affordable. Support is also quite helpful.
Update: Support has been responsive, unfortunately no sms has been delivered. For that reason, would still suggest the app offer a lower amount than $20 in order for customers to make sure the app is suitable. -------- 20/10/2022 Understandably, couldn't test app without paying as SMS do cost. Paid the minimum one-off amount to see ($20) and no sms has been delivered. Ideally, it should be much less for the purpose of allowing customers to test the app suits their needs. The app may work for others, unfortunately not in this case.
App is easy to use and works well. Support is extremely prompt and helpful with any queries, which is quite important. ____ Been using it for a while now, no complaints. Support always quick and helpful.
Easy to use app, great way to improve email layouts & customization (one of the fonts chosen didn't quite appear as shown, but that is a general web vs email fonts issue - not the developer/app's fault). Support was EXTREMELY FAST with solving a query I had. So far, quite pleased and no complaints.

Works well so far. Pretty straightforward guidance with installation if comfortable with editing code. Was initially worried may take time to load page, as some other apps in the past have done, but seems okay for now. Ability to choose custom colours rather than presets would be nice, but not a major issue.
Unfortunately had to disable the app because it's lacking a couple of standard features in comparison to other visitor chat apps. Also, as Ping for Android took a while, would have expected at the very least, it would have the same features as the IOS verison. For now it doesn't - one example, can't set availability hours.

There are some features that were not added in the initial first version of Shopify Ping for Android that we intend to incorporate in future updates. Features that are integrated into the iOS version of Ping such as sharing product pages, draft orders, discount codes, as well as working with Kit, will be added in the future as we build upon Ping for Android. Due to the rapidly changing e-commerce landscape we wanted to get what free tools we had available in the hands of our merchants as quickly as we could, which is why some features were omitted.
