Started using this app about a week ago and it looks great! I like that it shows at checkout what their discount is (compare at price vs checkbox upsell price). It works when selecting different currencies too which was important to me. It's simple, without a mountain of extra options, which is what I wanted. I have tried other apps like this and it was so loaded with features that it was confusing and a lot of steps to just add a checkbox, so this is a definite win for me. We had a slight issue with our theme, got in touch with support and they fixed it up and sent a follow up email to confirm it all worked.
Simple, seamless, and an instant AOV booster! This app is exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to add clean, non-intrusive checkbox upsells directly onto my product pages without cluttering the layout. It's incredibly easy to customize to match our brand's theme perfectly. Our Average Order Value (AOV) has already seen a noticeable lift, and it integrates flawlessly with our page builders. Highly recommend it to any merchant looking for a straightforward, high-converting upsell tool!
They dont let you cancel. There is no button for it. Hey, Sorry for the confusion here. With our app there's no cancellation hoops to jump through; uninstalling cancels your subscription instantly, with no further charges. That's by design; we'd rather make it easy to leave than trap anyone. I've checked our logs and refunded you for your 2 last months in case there was any overlap. Great one to one service, may be a bit faster but it's effective and they are super attentive.
Setup and configuration of this App is so easy and it matched my theme perfectly. Ralph was exceptionally helpful with some live chat support, even on a Saturday evening. A fantastic App and given the responsiveness of the support I would highly recommend it. They are really keen to hear customer feedback and look for suggestions on what you need as a Shopify merchant. Feb-2026: The team continues to be exceptional with their assistance following a theme update causing an issue with the App behaviour. UPDATE: The app stopped working as it should and support has not been good since. Don't know what happened but it just went blank. Wow, you have left us speechless. I did loooots of research to find intuitive, easy applications to use for my upsells. I can tell that Axe Upsell Checkbox was by far the easiest and quickest app to implement that I have found ! It has already great custom options / tools, without being overwhelming which I find is super rare for all these apps ! The support is also super super fast and efficient. This app offers a unique upsell strategy I haven’t seen in other apps. It’s easy to use, well-designed, and doesn’t compete with traditional upsell tools—it complements them. Plus, the team is incredibly responsive to feature requests. Highly recommend!

Doubles user's cart. Settings of the app are not intuitive. I am a developer so it means for other users it can be more frustrating. For example the upsell adds to cart every time user visits a product page, which called a feature, not a bug. And you should know about it being present and disable it to not mess the user's cart Other thing which is why I removed the app from my store is it doubles the cart. I mean product A is on the website. Product B is upsell. User taps add to cart and 2pcs of product A are added to the cart. Product B is added also, which is expected, but not 2 pcs of A. Happens often. Overall bad app

Great idea, such bad service. Had this on my site for three weeks and was told that the analytics didn't work and that it would be fixed at the weekend (three weekends ago), didn't get fixed but the app then stopped taking the ticked items over to the checkout - so lost income due to the app not working. In the end I was told that they have over 200 customers and that my issue would get looked at, but they had other issues that needing looked at first. Was told to then uninstall and reinstall and app stopped working altogether.

A new, evolving plugin that is worth every penny. What started as a basic fix for add-ons just keeps getting better. Developer is actively working and took our suggestions and turned them into a reality. Add multiple check boxes for items that usually pair well with other items. Remove the check box if it is out of stock automatically to prevent order delays. Take it for a test ride. We've sold a lot of extra product because of it.

Awesome support by Ralph, setting expectations for future features honestly and dedicatedly, helped me multiple times with some adjustments and overall this is simply the only app with the kind of design and functions I needed. Hope that more than 1 checkbox addon per product and a 'more details' link will be available soon, but take your time :) Your app is awesome! Keep up the great work!
Really the only app that we found that does this so comfortably. You can also edit the CSS to make it fit your shop. Also, when we wanted some help with the position, we got a response and solution in just a matter of minutes from Ralph. Really appreciate it and the app is awesome and does what its supposed to. Maybe some more preset icons would be cool in the future.
The app is exactly what I need for the Priority Shipping add-on. It's simple and easy to read for a user. Although I ran into some problems while setting up the app. But their customer support, Ralph, is really helpful. Highly recommend!
