Doesnt get simpler than this! Install the app, chose if you want to hide the paypal button in the cart or the customer information page (or pick both) and then copy a piece of code into your google analytics page. Works perfectly. Very quick response to emails too (within just a few minutes) Thank you

The single biggest flaw in the Shopify platform is their stupid insistence at showing all the optional pay buttons at the top of the checkout. THIS CONFUSES CUSTOMERS AND DRIVES AWAY SALES. Yesterday was the last straw—I had a customer write in to say that he wasn't going to purchase an item worth several thousand dollars, simply because he didn't have Paypal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Shopify needs to fix this stupid design immediately. But in the meantime, Billy Yeung's Hide Paypal In Cart is the best $1/month you'll ever spend. Just do it. You'll be glad you did.

Been using this app for a while and it does what it promises. Since PayPal isn't the most popular payment option in my country it confused customers that they could only pay with PayPal. After a while PayPay button in the checkout showed again. I contacted the developer and it was fixed within 24h and 3 emails. Job well done. :-)

Having the PayPal button in my shopping cart has been a nightmare! PayPal users could bypass all customer information. Also they couldn’t add a discount code or select a shipping method. I started using this app very soon after opening my store and it had worked flawlessly for me. (Not to mention I didn’t have to do anything except install it and it was working perfect as is). Later when “Shopify” updated the PayPal button it showed up again in my shopping cart. Oh no!!! But Billy (from Hide Paypal in cart) fixed the problem for me in no time. It was a very pleasant experience. Superb customer service. Even if I could do the coding myself (which I can’t yet), I would and will keep this App as long as I own my store. (Over 10 years now). This service really does help with conversions, as without it, some customers get confused by the early appearance of Paypal or amazon as payment (and they might not have those accounts). well worth it!

Great app. Great support! Can't believe Shopify lets the PayPal and Amazon buttons appear anywhere except the checkout page. Talk about confusing non-PP and Amazon customers and causing them to abandon the cart AND the business.

This little App does exactly what it says and solves the VERY nagging problem of having the Paypal button prominently displayed in the cart. Billy is EXCEPTIONAL at support too!

I have been trying to fix this for ages! The checkout flow was so confusing before. Customers would click the paypal button before they could enter their discount code, creating a lot of confusion and abandoned carts. Easy set up, great customer service.

I have a custom theme and the initial install of this app was unable to remove the paypal button in the cart. I'm a developer so I attempted to use css to remove the paypal button myself. Soon I realized that it was more complicated than I wanted to deal with. I sent an email and received a reply in the same day from Billy, who edited my theme to remove the paypal button. The whole process took less than 24 hours and I'm definitely grateful & keeping the app.

Absolutely phenomenal support and exactly what my tiny shop needed. I had been using PayPal's cart for years but was unhappy with how it handled shipping lately. I came to Shopify for a better customer experience but was bummed about how the PayPal button dominated the cart experience. I had to drop PayPal because of how it's currently implemented. BUT . . . not having a PayPal option was not in the best interest of my customers. I was getting ready to drop Shopify and go back to using PayPal only. Thankfully, I found this perfect app - Hide PayPal in Cart. At 25 cents a month, it's a steal (I'd happily pay more). When I added the app, it did what it said but I wanted it to also hide the PayPal button in my implementation of Shopify on my domain. An email to InsCoder, and literally 10 minutes later, they had taken care of that too!
