Easy to use, helpful tech help, and gets people back to the store when an item they want is restocked.
Good app and served its purposes well. Great support from the team when something is not working. Have been using this app for more than a year.
Back in Stock is only one of two apps we have for our store to add functionality. Over the years, we've deleted all other apps and only kept these two. We've had Back in Stock in our store for over 5 years, and we don't really think about it. The reason we don't really think about it is because IT JUST WORKS! No issues, no errors. Once configured, it does what it's supposed to do seamlessly. The new upgraded Shopify 2.0 compatible Back in Stock 2.0 module is even better because we can integrate it to our store each time we upgrade or tweak our store without having to contact Support to install it. The new 2.0 is completely modular and we can install it ourselves and place the module exactly where we want it on an item page. You cannot go wrong with Back in Stock. The cost/benefit is just brilliant!

Works very well and the support is fast and very helpful. We needed a little help getting it working in our theme and support quickly got everything set up. UPDATE: Had some challenges with a few apps after updating our theme to a new 2.0 Shopify one, Avinash was very responsive and modified the code for Now in Stock to work as we wanted it to, very impressed!
This app is well done and exactly what I needed. A few things you couldn't customize were easily changed by asking their support to update for you. Compared to other "back in stock notifiers" this one is the cleanest-looking, easiest to use. Plus it's a great deal. Anyone selling stuff in Shopify should be using this app.
This app is soo good! It accomplishes everything we could want and more (like excluding certain variants) AND at $3, it is the best value for functionality on the shopify app store! Highly recommend it!
Great little app to notify potential clients when an item is 'out of stock' instead of oversell or pre-order items or make your customers check every day. The app doesn't always work with your theme, but when you request they install it, it's fixed within no time and working properly.

This app works well for what we need it to do. We had no issues with setting up and integrates with our theme flawlessly. Takes less the work and is cheap
Well I do not I understand the negative reviews we have had nothing but excellent support from these guys, we changed our template emailed support and it was ready within a couple of hours For $3 a month it's a bargain so well done to them, it works very well and sits nicely in our template TOP app far better than what we had before
We looked at every "back in stock" app available and this one is hands-down the best. It looks great on our site, doesn't use any annoying pop-ups and the dashboard is very user-friendly. It is also the easiest to customize and it was super easy to make the customer notification emails perfectly match our existing marketing emails. Between this one and the Wishlist app that we are also using, Mascot is awesome!
Update: Bumped up the stars back to 5! App is now working great! ____________________________________________ This is a must have app and it comes awesome customer support! App does what it says and the support is great. I requested for the app to be installed and customized according to the look and theme of my shop and voila! Everything was done and running within 1-2 days! Thank you Kundan and Avinash for the support! Keep it up!
Update 10/1/18: Works with transfers now! The bug has been resolved. Happy to recommend this app wholeheartedly now that this major oversight has been fixed. UPDATE 7/27/18: I've been in contact with the developers via email, and they are saying the issue was caused by a change in Shopify's API - I know that Shopify did change the area of the API they are referring to, and after some discussion, it appears they are on track to release an update soon that will address this change. I'm a little disappointed they did not proactively adjust their code for this change, and/or test to see if their code would break when the change went into effect, but testing does seem to be something that most of the more feature-rich, but less pricey, apps are lacking. This app DOES have a comprehensive, if not intuitive, UI - which could make it hard to test. I've updated my review to 4 stars and asked them to let me know when the app is ready for re-testing. I will update again once that is done. If it fails the re-test, I will adjust stars - if it passes, I think 4 stars is appropriate for what is essentially a good app, at a great price, that at the moment lacks some oversight and testing. --------- I was very surprised, and disappointed, and a touch angry, to realize this app is not sending email notifications when a transfer accepts inventory. (THANK you other reviewer who pointed this out). We'd been ignorantly relying on this app for a while. I thought it was excellent. I have also emailed the developers to see what they say, but for that reason, unless this is fixed, this app will be an absolute failure for us for sure. I'm greatly aggravated to know this app has been failing to work in that way for a while, and wondering how many sales we've lost as a result.
Works great. I changed themes recently to one that had a "back in stock" notice but you manually had to send the emails. I ran back to Now in stock as fast as I could when I realized how much time they save me.
I really love this app. It's helpful to see which products are in-demand and it brings in a ton of sales. Probably one of the most useful apps we are using on our site.
I have been using this app for a bit now and I love it! It's great to see what customers are wanting and helps when deciding what to re order.... this is a must have! support is quick to respond as well!

Brilliant so easy to use (they set it up for you). And has saved me so much time with tracking who wants out of stock items and contacting them when they are restocked. Thank you for this awesome app, great value for money.
Excellent Service and App! We had a problem with the App when they updated it, we got in touch and they sorted it out in no time! Now our customers can use the email service again so they don't have to keep checking back for a change in stock levels. Chris
Excellent app, exactly what we were looking for. It sends emails automatically rather than us having to somehow keep track of all requests. Customer support is excellent and the customizable email template allows us to brand our correspondence to the customer, keeping the guest experience cohesive throughout the visit/request/ordering process. Customer service support is excellent. I mention it twice because they not only set up the program for us (for free), but also helped to troubleshoot the email template issue we were having, both done quickly. We would definitely recommend this app!
