Functions as expected across a 5 store configuration and is pretty easy to configure, but required a support chat to solve for a difference in settings for external vs internal stores. Support was easy to communicate with in a quick real-time chat and demonstrated via testing on the spot that our configuration was correct. Excellent service!
The app works well and does everything it says it will. Support has been very helpful in getting this set up.

Update: This review was left after using the app for a very short time, and before the onboarding was ever completed (as publicly shown by Shopify here). Since then, we've reached out several times to help, to understand the feedback, and to explain a likely misunderstanding, because the app actually does exactly what this merchant was looking for (on our paid plans). We haven't received a reply yet. I think there is a misunderstanding as the app does exactly what you're looking for. What you saw is actually the intended behavior on the Free plan: the welcome popup shows to every visitor so it can confirm and save their country and language preference. The popup won't appear again on subsequent visits. It will render automatically the localized experience for the customer. The behavior you were looking for, where the popup only appears for visitors who land in the wrong country experience, is available on our paid plans, so the app can do exactly what you wanted. We've been using Orbe for years, and the support has been excellent. Their team is responsive and quick to resolve any issues or answer any questions we have. I highly recommend it for merchants with complex store, market, and regional setups.
Great support from the team in getting the app setup. During updates to the shop theme, something the code is changed. The help team were able to fix the issue in less than 12hrs.
As a brand that receives a majority of international sales, I was looking for a geolocation app that efficiently redirects customers to the correct store to show the right products and prices depending on their country. Orbe does this depending on the IP location. The app has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to any business looking to optimize its international sales. Works flawlessly and does perfectly what it should. We use it the manage the correct pricing for various EU countries based on the shipping location the client chooses and offering them the correct VAT rate (shown as including VAT prices)

We've had a great experience with Orbe as part of our international Shopify setup. The standout feature for us is the flexibility to redirect visitors to localized stores that are running on entirely different shop systems, which made our multi-store architecture much easier to manage. Another major advantage is Orbe's compatibility with Global-e. Since we've been working with Global-e for quite some time, having a geolocation solution that integrates smoothly with our existing setup was essential. The implementation was straightforward, and the app has been reliable in directing customers to the correct regional experience. Overall, Orbe has been a valuable addition to our localization strategy and works very well for businesses operating across multiple storefronts and platforms.
Stellar customer service. We've had to pause shipments to the EU as we get up to speed with the updated regulations. This caused our store to glitch out when viewed by customers in Europe. Mariana and the tech team were very prompt with their response, providing guidance on conflicting settings across Shopify, Orbe and other apps that was causing the glitch. The issue was resolved quickly and smoothly.
Great app for multi market routing, but the support is what made the difference. Roberto guided us through the full setup for Denmark and Germany, explained the catalog and pricing logic clearly, and kept everything on a draft theme so nothing went live before I checked it. Responsive, patient, and no pressure. Happy so far.
Great service and very helpful support. We had an issue with customers landing in the wrong store/country version of our website, and Orbe helped us solve it. They also implemented a layout that made sense for our needs. I definitely recommend the app.

Have been using Orbe for a while, works as advertised. I'm now having an issue due to Shopify's decision to end designating a fulfilment location for each country / market. The were very helpful in suggesting solutions outside of Orbe, that's quite rare! Very happy

Orbe has worked extremely well for our international setup. Because of regulatory requirements in the nutrition space, some of our products must have different versions and product pages in Spain and the US. With Orbe, each customer is automatically directed to the correct product page based on their location, which is critical for compliance. The ability to geolocate users and send them to different product URLs within the same store has made everything much simpler for us. It ensures every customer sees the right product for their market without friction.

I had some issues setting up the Geolocation app at first, since my setup is quite complex with more than six different stores. However, Roberto from Orbe and his team provided outstanding support, they helped me get everything up and running within just a few hours, and then fine-tuned the setup over the next couple of days. The app works perfectly now and does exactly what I needed. I really appreciate the effort that the owner personally put in to help us solve this issue, it’s not something I see very often, and I think he should be proud to show it off. This app is very useful in helping us redirect customers to the correct domain in order for them to enjoy a customized and localized experience. The price is very reasonable and it's possible to integrate multiple stores with the same app, which is seamless both the customer and the e-commerce. On top of that, the Orbe team is really nice and ready to help when needed. Really recommend!
