Parex for QuickBooks Desktop

Great App using between Shopify and QBE. Fast and very responsive Customer Service. Worth it. Other solutions kept having issue or created duplicate vendor entries. Their PO function also work very nicely.

I have been using this app for several years, very few issues until now. Orders are not syncing even after multiple attempts. The biggest disappointment is there lack of customer service, they are on the other side of the world so any resolution is 12 hours away at a minimum. They seem highly focused on completing the service call then they are at actually focusing on the issue to ensure the app is functioning properly. I am so appreciative of the help I received from the technical support team. I had an issue with how the Shopify Syncronization app was bringing the transactions into our QuickBooks. It was not their fault, it was just the way we have our inventory system set up. Although it took some time, it was not their fault. Again, it was the way our inventory was set up. They continued to work on it until all was resolved and now my inventory is much easier to handle thanks to all of their efforts. They stuck to it until it was exactly what I needed. The were absolutely great and attentive!

The customer service is amazing! We have had a few minor things arise and they have always been on top of things, providing help and fixing the issue. Highly recommend!!!

The customer service is top notch, as the Parex team has solved all the issues/problems that have come up. The App does what we need it to, every now and then there are issues, which seem to stem from the QuickBooks side. Thankfully, the support is great.

This app has been an incredible time saver. Reconciling orders at month end/year end is seamless. Their customer service is remarkable. They provide detailed explanations and help to problem solve any issue that may arise. I ran into some challenges when I updated my QuickBooks program, and Mahek and his team were a tremendous help. Excellent app for QuickBooks and Shopify POS. Had a little problem with mapping sales taxes but their customer service helped solve the problem. Everything is running as it should, Perfectly.

The developers of this app are very easy to work with when you have questions or concerns with connecting Shopify to QB Enterprise. They made sure everything worked correctly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this app and this group of developers! This app has been the highlight of using Shopify! Update 6/26/2024 - I had issues when I moved QB Desktop to a new device. Working with this group was easy. We connected, and they had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. This is an awesome group to work with whether its for setup or troubleshooting issues. Our team has a number of unique practices keying in orders into QB. The team was able to configure the fields so we reduce almost all of the manual data entry. This is saving us an enormous amount of time!!! Highly recommend, support is excellent.

Great customer service! I had a lot of questions and needed a few more features than what I saw available. Mahek has been very helpful in making adjustments to the app so it works for our company. Everything is flowing like it should.

They are very clear and helpful. Just understand they are not Quickbooks, they are the app that connects your Shopify Store with Quickbooks Desktop. They reply to all the emails the same day, the next day morning at the most. The only not-so-good thing is that everything has to be via email. They don't accept calls/meetings. But if you are clear enough via email, they are very helpful.

This is by far the best company that I have worked with in regards to syncing orders from Shopify to Quickbooks. If there is ever a problem they are always quick to help!

After installing the The QuickBooks Desktop app it has worked perfectly. Inventory linking is a huge benefit for my company. After 4 months of challenges with the Intuit Desktop Connector app that Quickbooks wanted us to use, this app actually works. The customer service is excellent.

Wow, after spending seven and a half weeks working with Shopify to connect my Quickbooks Desktop to their connector with no luck, I was able to get the job done in less than a week with this app. The support was excellent and what a relief to know that this app really does work! I just wish I had started with this app weeks ago.

Initially, there were a few technical issues to iron out, but the tech support is pristine, responsive and very helpful. The app works very well now!

I would definitely recommend Parex. We had been using Connex and after they raised their prices, it was just too expensive. I also didn't find it to be seamless and we would often have inventory updates that wouldn't push from QB to Shopify and our inventory counts were totally screwed up. Parex has been really great so far. It took a little bit of work to set up because we have a lot of specific needs, but Utkarsh was incredibly patient, helpful and responsive to all of my questions and tweaks as they would arise. The app is seamless and we have had no hiccups at all with sales not syncing or with inventory updates. I'm very happy with it. And I really can't say enough about the customer service. They were so helpful and easy to work with. I definitely recommend this app.

This app works flawlessly to integrate QB desktop with Shopify, it saves us hours of work everyday. and their customer service is unmatched, they respond to any issue within hours and it always gets resolved right away. Highly recommend if you would like all Shopify orders and transactions copies exactly into QB.

On its own, Shopify will sync with only 1 revenue and 1 COGS account. If you have multiple accounts, then I highly recommend using Parex' QB Desktop Sync. There is nowhere to setup the accounts in Shopify, but when Shopify syncs with QBD, it uses the Item information in QBD. So, if you set revenue and COGS accounts in QBD, sales reports will use those accounts. As you get started, I suggest you setup a report of sales and sort the report by Revenue Account to find the Items that have no revenue account defined. As soon as you add the account to the item, the reports will reflect that change. Do the same for COGS accounts. Parex support has been extremely responsive and helpful. Far and above anything Shopify offers. I was concerned when I found out it uses Intuit's QB Web Connector, but it has been working reliably for us for 2 months now. The only glitch we've had is when Intuit let the certificate expire or be revoked and it was Parex support who provided us the link with an easy fix. I do wish the documentation were a bit more detailed as to what impact the various settings have, but it does provide the basics of all the options. I love everything else about the program, especially the responsive support, which seems to be nearly impossible to find these days.

This is the BEST Quickbooks Desktop app available! EXCELLENT tech support the few times I've needed it and easy, seamless use. We previously used Connex and they kept jacking up the price until it was over $300 per month!! This app is WELL worth the price. I can't say enough good things about it!

We have now been using this app to connect and transfer sales & inventory adjustment data from our Shopify Account into our QuickBooks Desktop Premier company file for over a week. WORKS GREAT!!! Tech support is OUTSTANDING!!! I had a few hiccups in the beginning, but these were mainly due to my lack of accounting knowledge. Once Utkarsh helped me to better understand what each setting would do for me, it was very easy to set-up and use!!! Utkarsh was very patient and always got back to me quickly! Highly recommend. Worth every penny!!!

This app works great. Super easy to set up and just runs. Had a little difficulty with the transition from QBooks 2020 to 2023 version but the service help and especially Utkarsh did a great job.

Set up took less than 15 minutes and the app worked great from the start. Support was able to make a few changes for us the same day. We tried several different Shopify to QuickBooks syncing apps - this one has been the best yet!

With something that syncs financial data its extremely important that its stable and has good support. This app has been very stable and the sync meets our needs. When we hit an issue with sales tax caused by another app integration the team worked hard to resolve and we are very happy with the app and support.

This is an excellent app that works seamlessly in the background. We chose this app to replace a similar one used previously and could not be any happier. In addition to working well, the customer service is top notch.

The setup is simple, the connection is stable, and it works exactly as it should. We now have all of our orders syncing with QuickBooks! Customer support is very responsive and has addressed any issue we've had within 24 hours—definitely a company you can trust. Install with confidence, My only slight complaint (which is not necessarily this softwares fault) is large volume stores may have an issue with syncing payouts if you are using Right Networks to host your Quickbooks. Right Networks will disconnect after 2 hours of inactivity and this software requires the sync to be running non-stop for longer (8 hours a day) for stores with lots of daily sales.

We are stuck with Quickbooks for now, I don't like it since it was sold to us like an ERP but is just accountant/inventory software. Anyhow, this app is specifically to connect your Shopify ecommerce with Quickbooks Desktop and works perfect. The customer service is quick, efficient, very clear and helpfull. Fantastic app - does exactly what I needed. This app allowed me to be able to connect Shopify to Quickbooks and keep track of inventory as well. And the customer support is excellent!

This app saves me many hours of manually entering our daily sales! Each sale is detailed in QB and can easily be verified by our bank deposits. My only suggestion would be a daily entry instead of an entry for each transaction, but it is working great as it is. The support for this app is quick, accurate and friendly. I highly recommend it!

This app is amazing! I can't even calculate how many hours and days of my life I've reclaimed from manually inputting invoices. It works great with more involved Quickbooks Desktop inventory as well and also works on a remote desktop. The support is great as well, they are quick to respond by email and will take the time to help resolve any issues in the background remotely. I can't tell you how happy I am!

The customer service has been phenomenal. We use QuickBooks Desktop, and coming from Connex due to their pricing structure. There were some unique variables we had in place due to Connex's sync, and the support at Parex was outstanding in getting our app to sync using the same strategy without losing any data. Great app! It effectively takes the worry and hassle out of making entries into Quickbooks. The setup was challenging, but the Parex team provided excellent and timely support. Once the app was adapted to our specific setup, the results were amazing! Entries to QB are now automatic and accurate. We no longer have to create an invoice and other entries for each order, which is what we had done for years. The app does it all for us!

If you use QBks Desktop and are needing to sync your sales from Shopify, this is the app I would recommend. Customer service is superb and they'll help you get it setup specific to your needs. It's so great being able to get it all setup, switch it to automatic mode, and then know that the order will just "be there" in QBks when you go looking for it.

We were using a different app that had both terrible customer service and a skyrocketing price. I'm really glad we gave this app a try even though it didn't have very many reviews. They have been very helpful in configuring the syncing of our sales receipts from Shopify into our QB system. We have had them make several tweaks so that the information populates into the correct fields for us. They have been very responsive and honestly, a joy to work with throughout the process. Thanks!

If you are a shopify store, etsy or amazon and struggling to bring your data to Quickbooks to manage your accounting, there is no better app than this. This is the first app which support unit measures. I believe, it is a major issue with any other app on the shopify store. I would say it will save your minimum of 100 hours a month for sure. Their service is up to the mark. They have done everything to support our local accounting copy to make the data more accurate. We are haveing multiple unit measures in our shop and it works like PRO! The best part is, it would deduct the right unit measure and helps you to manage your inventory in Quickbooks. They understand Quickbooks more than Quickbooks guyz itself. Thank you for developing such an amazing app.
