We’ve been using Filljoy for our refillery services at Pretty Clean Shop, and it’s honestly the tool we rely on the most day-to-day. The app is incredibly easy and fast to use, very intuitive and user-friendly, which makes a huge difference in a busy retail environment. It runs smoothly and reliably, and we rarely experience any issues. On the rare occasion that something does come up, their customer service is outstanding. The team responds quickly to everything, from simple questions to more complex problems, and always provides clear answers and practical solutions. If needed, they even go as far as offering video calls to walk you through things and make sure everything is resolved. Overall, Filljoy has been an essential part of our operations, and we highly recommend it to any business looking to streamline their refillery services.
Horribly slow, sometimes doesn't load. Too bad shopify didn't mention you can't enter decimals into their program until AFTER we transferred entire grocery store. Maybe they've never been in a grocery store and didn't realize a good portion of food is weighed at register. Adds about 5 minutes per customer to ring up. We are now just using calculators at the register and ringing up as misc. Don't bother with this one. Regarding performance, adding multiple minutes per customer is not typical behavior we see across stores using the app. We weren’t able to find any recent support tickets from your team, but we’re happy to take a look at what’s going on in your specific setup if you email us a video of what you're experiencing at support@filljoy.co.
We have used this app for the last 3 years for our refill store and it has worked great! Derrick and the other staff are super quick to respond which has been so helpful for troubleshooting. Couldn't have done it without it!

We use this app to tare and weigh refill products in our store, it's seamless, easy to use and makes checkout so much easier and error-free. Plus the support staff is very responsive and has helped us resolve issues quickly and diligently. Our business (bulk refill store) would not exist without the Filljoy App. Derrick and team are very responsive when problems or questions arise. At the time of initial set up, over 3 years ago, Derrick himself was on the phone to walk us through each step. Filljoy has also been helpful with recommendations on best prices for scales and tablets, even procuring used tablets and re-selling to us. The interface is less user friendly(small font, not as intuitive) after the Shopify upgrades, but we're optimistic it will improve over time Thank you Heather and team for the kind words!

Paying $25/month for very little. This is designed optimally for wholefood stores and similar. The outlay cost of $25 MINIMUM a month is ludicrous. At best, this app takes 5 minutes to load on your POS and then literally slows down every transaction to a crawl. Hi SW Coast Refills, we're sorry you had the experience you did with our app. We checked and our team never received a support ticket from you, and your account also never accepted our app's billing charge after you installed it most recently in Jan 2025 so you were never billed this year, and this is also why the app may not have loaded correctly for you when you tried it. Paying $20/month for absolutely nothing. On it's best day, the Sell by Weight App will take 5 minutes to load on your POS and slow you down. On it's worst day, it shows a blank screen or opens to the 'set up' screen. We have found it to be incredibly frustrating and now it doesn't work at all. We have not been able to use it since last week when they "updated it" and seemingly broke it. We opened a support case which hopefully gets resolved soon, as we are paying for this service. Hi Hadley, we spoke yesterday on the phone. We're sorry for the frustration you experienced with our app - the issues you mentioned in your review were unfortunately caused by Shopify and outside of our control as a third party developer, but our new tile should load noticeably more quickly. If you'd like to give our app another try, you can follow the instructions we emailed to you.

Derrick and his team are amazing and are always willing to help with whatever our company needs. We run a direct to consumer meat business and use a variety of the FillJoy apps for our various sales channels. Every time we have had any sort of issue of specialty thing that we have needed Derrick and his team are right there answering our millions of questions and coming up with new and improved beta versions of their apps for us to try. We truly wouldn't be able to run our business on a platform like Shopify without the Filljoy apps!

Our biggest barrier to migrating to shopify was solving for being able to sale by weight. This app has been phenomenal for us. It slows our POS process down slightly, but the outcome has been very worth it and the performance of the app has been overall very stable once we got up and running Thank you so much for the kind review!

So happy I found this app. This is the first set up I have found where I can sell by weight but also have the items taken out of my inventory individually. This app is the perfect solution for our package-free grocery store and refillery. It has allowed us to sell products in-store by weight and online in fixed sizes (weights) and it seamlessly keeps the inventory in sync. It's very easy to set up, extremely good value, and the app developer is very responsive to bug reports and feature requests! Filljoy also has a solution which we use in-store which uses RFID tags to store the tare weights of customers' containers - they provide all the hardware and again it's very easy to set up and use. I highly recommend Filljoy's apps for any stores that sell products by weight!
Our business sells frozen meat products both direct point of sale as well as packages that we ship. The problem we faced was ability to sale products by package count when shipping and then sale by individual weights at POS. This product solved this dilemma for us! It is vital that you read and watch the tutorials provided, but if you do, setup is not very complicated. The great thing about the app is that it installs quickly and is immediately applicable. If you have any questions or problems, the support team is very quick to respond and fantastic in providing customer support. They also are continuously working to find improvements to make work flow more seamless and comprehensive. Great app that solves a major problem to the existing Shopify platform. Our "work-around" method had us rounding down to the nearest hundredth of a pound to ensure customers weren't overpaying. We discovered we were losing about $300 per month in lost revenue due to this. The app is easily paying for itself as well as now providing revenue into our account that was being lost. we have used FillJoy for almost two years and the last update has made our checkout process so much faster and easier. We especially notice a difference in efficiency when customers have more than 3 items to weigh because the taring process is so quick. I have no doubt FillJoy will only get better and working with Derrick has always been enjoyable.
The Filljoy app is a very helpful tool and inexpensive compared to other big software companies offering this POS & sell by weight integration. It is very efficient and Derrick is always available and willing to help! Having to contact a real person to solve your issues is something I value a lot!
This app is incredibly helpful for our storefront checkout. Anytime I have had an issue Derrick has been so responsive and helpful. Often these aren't issues with the app, but a larger shopify issue or user error, but he always make sure they are resolved to the best of his ability. I think that's pretty remarkable!

We are a fabric store with an online and retail presence. Shopify has managed our ecommerce for more than 8 years, but the POS was not a solution for us because it was unable to process fractional amounts. We sell a cut of fabric as small as 1/8 yard and this app makes it possible. Bringing all of business (ecommerce and retail) onto the same system which will radically improve our efficiency. Derrick's customer service is unmatched. He is prompt and clear in his responses and solutions. We need more than 5 stars to say how happy we are with this app.

We had to change our POS from another platform to Shopify POS. Our business relies heavily on decimal prices for our lumber store. (board foot) After trying another app we realized the other app doesn't change inventory amounts. This app does! This app was the only accurate and usable solution for selling in decimals in the POS. We contacted the support team to change the units that is displayed and printed. Instead of lbs it shows bd/ft. They did this with no problems. Thanks! I really like this app - Derrick was great with helping me get it all installed, up and running and has been wonderful with support along the way. I've been using this app since he first launched it and he's been great with responding to feedback and any questions I've had. It makes it really simple to tare different containers and add multiple bulk items to a cart quickly and efficiently. It also means I don't have to math too much - which is a win in my book!
