Great application and wonderful partners to have for our business!

I posted a review like this once before, but I deleted it to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, after a year of use, this app is a JOKE! It looks like it 's being tested in production. - First of all, the price. I have the SILVER plan. In theory, it's $49/month, but in practice, with 150 to 200 memberships, the bills fluctuate around $250-350 per month. - Live streaming is an absolute joke, you have to use a third-party app, and 7/10 times the live stream will disconnect. - Adding videos and organizing them into collections. Here, you only have hashtags at your disposal, which you have to add manually under each video. If you want to create, for example, a training week, it requires combining tags in a dozen or so files. - Translation: some things are translated automatically, some are not. There is no way to change this. - Subscription price for the users. This is the biggest downside of this platform; once the price is set, it cannot be changed. You can only use discount codes, but they only work for NEW users. There is no way to compensate old users. I am glad that I will soon be migrating to another platform, because apart from the high cost of service, this one also costs a lot of nerves.

Great idea but there are so many bugs which makes this app really hard to use. For example, when you make a post about a video chosen from your library, the correct video plays on the "video tab" but on the "post tab" it plays a totally different video. The back-and-forth customer service was sooooo on point and so unexpectedly swift. I needed a LOT of support to get a new digital album set up and I don't think I ever had to wait more than 20 min. between emails for the next step in the process. Single Music? Yes, please.

The Single App was everything we needed to launch our live stream experience. Elijah and Tommy were incredibly attentive and responsive throughout the whole process, answering all questions and needs as they arose. The integration with Shopify made the setup/backend simple with no red tape or underlying costs, while allowing us to utilize our current e-commerce platform to sell tickets for our artist's stream. We are already planning our next stream, with our 'Go To', Single!

I am thrilled with the Single app, especially the customer support, which is important. The app is excellent, but as with every solution, some small things could be improved. But the Single-team are fast to reply. Not only fast, they fix things and help you out when it is needed. They listen to suggestions and actually do something about it. The Single app has been working very well for me since the release of my video rental platform. I recommend them highly!

Single straight up came through to deploy my first NFT collection! They did something that had neva been done before for me to get my collection to my fans on Shopify. They communicate well and have great energy!

This app is very tricky. Its not really $25 a month for bronze. If you drop one 10 track album its going to be more like 33.30 a month. And if you drop lots of music like me that gets problematic fast. And when I contacted shopify for help the reps I got didnt care at all. Insisted I didn't read or it was my fault somehow. Nah I read it carefully. Thats why I only release ONE 10-track album through this to test it out. I feel ripped off. Completely. And tbh i never leave bad reviews. This actually sucks.

This app's support team is killer! They are quick and super knowledgeable. Not to mention, their Help Center database is fantastic. It's thorough, but still easy to navigate and read through. This app can do way more than you think it can! It has been an integral piece in countless projects for our clients. It's our go-to for SoundScan reporting of course, but we've also had great success using their digital delivery and livestream features.

My team uses this app across all our clients' stores and we have been using it for years. The support is always quick, thorough, and well informed. Although reporting to SoundScan was the foundation of this app, this company consistently goes above and beyond to build features that fit my clients' ideas/goals. We've sold countless digital downloads through Single and those all work without any issue. We also worked alongside them to pull off a huge livestream event last year that had a lot of complexities within it, but all orders flowed seamlessly and the app functioned smoothly as ever! Updating my review. I learned that I had an issue with my router which was blocking their key domains and appeared to be an outage. I appreciate Single's responsiveness over on their Discord and via email. ____ Worked great and was easy to setup. However, the App is not loading now, and their Discord support group is unresponsive. Hope they get the issues resolved.

It was awesome to work with Single Music for our annual Dear Jack Benefit charity concert. It was the first time we've ever livestreamed this event and it could not have gone any better. We've been working with Single Music for over a year now, and it is a total dream. They are always available to chat, answer every question thoroughly, and seem to be constantly improving the app and adding things on I wouldn't even have thought to request. They solved a long-standing issue with us delivering music digitally via Shopify. We are an indie music label, and selling music digitally this day and age is imperative, and they made it smoothless, hi tech, AND they report all sales to Soundscan! They even assist in some of the customer service that selling digitally creates. We can't say enough about them!

Finally - how did we not hear about this earlier? Soundscan reporting is fantastic to have. Looking forward to this being built out into a more fully-featured app. Edit, March 2020: It's been two years, and the app still feels like rough like an unpolished beta. Issues: • Pain point: Track upload and metadata entry are painful: unable to upload more than 3 concurrent tracks, locked out from adding metadata for tracks during upload, unable to add track titles while 3 files are uploading. • Bug: Creating dozens of tracks (for larger albums) at once creates track number duplicates. • Bug: Album art randomly disappears in the dashboard. • Bug: Physical products not always found when trying to attach a digital release. Wishlist: • Bulk edit tools, cloning metadata between tracks to avoid extensive manual data entry that could be avoided • DDEX ERN support for automatically creating releases via existing music aggregator distribution flow • Allowing metadata to be edited after locking a release • More control over how Shopify products/collections are created, tagged, managed. • External product fulfillment, e.g., via codebanks • Whitelabeling / custom branding. • Custom mailservers. Email notifications/order redemption go to spam. • Integration with other smart link platforms (linkfire, Smarturl, etc.) • Data analytics/retargeting/marketing options • More extensive metadata: P-line/C-line support, publishing fields per track (PRO info, Publisher/Administrator, multiple ISWC support)

I'm able to combine an Album Download with a physical CD that I'm fulfilling in-house (instead of CD Baby, etc.). Combined with the ecommerce capabilities of Shopify, Single Music is freakin' awesome. I can: +Create discounts. +Send out free downloads for reviews/networking (well, I guess it costs me $.015, less than postage for a CD). + Integrate the product with a marketing campaigns/tools. I already have an Art/T-shirt brand, so adding music alongside my other products is awesome. Functionality seamless so far. Support is fast and thorough. Do it.

We chose Single Music for easy integration with Soundscan reporting. The setup took less than a minute, I had friendly support on chat on a Saturday morning, and I didnt' even need the help - I literally just imported by products, set up preorder dates and was good to go. Shockingly easy and intuitive. Great UI/product dashboard as well. Highly recommended.

Great good app but i only give 3 stars because the app don't have a preview player for the tracks. Thats very important. *I just need the support from Single Music. unbelievable how fast they are. That's why they now get a star on top.

Before we found out about Single we were legitimately about to pay a developer thousands of dollars to create a Shopify that does automatic Soundscan reporting. We're really happy to have stumbled up Single though, their developers are some of the best in the business. Very quick response times + willing to listen to any customizations you suggest. Seriously one of the best shopify apps we've ever used!
