A great app for adding gift messages to orders placed through our Shopify store. The development team was excellent, quickly helping me configure the options and position the button exactly where I wanted it.
We have used this app for 5 years now, and it is exactly what I was looking for. Simple to set up and not creating any issues with my current setup. We had a small issue recently, and the support team responded quickly and efficiently.

Disappointed. The App store says there is a free plan available - there is not. There is only a free 7 day trial, after that there are only paid plans. EDIT TO ADD: The app developers reached out to me to clarify based on my poor review: "To clarify, the free plan is available for stores on the Shopify Development plan, as noted at the bottom of the App Store listing page." To me, this is still a total bait and switch because if there is a caveat it should be clearly and explicitly stated at the TOP of the app store listing page, not at the bottom and certainly not by disguising it with the "free to install, free plan available" as the core pricing advertised for the app when that is strictly available for a certain group of Shopify customers. Great app! The staff is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever an issue arises. Highly recommend!
Classic bait and switch app. The only functionality is a toggle on/off switch for "gift message", "gift wrap", and "gift receipt". There are zero setting options or customization options. When I toggled on the Gift Message option a 2x2 square of a blurry gift icon took up the entirety of my cart. When I contacted support to see if I was missing the menu option for settings or customization, I was told to grant them full access/permission to my shop and that in the mean time they would let their dev team know. Dev team know what? The app is completely useless. The pro subscription advertises the following and none of this is built into the app to use: Add unlimited paid and free gift wraps Can appear in the cart and product pages 2 design types: Pop up modal & Checkbox Fully customizable design to match style Supports custom checkbox & modal images Attracts attention with visual animation Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Regarding the charge you mentioned: you were subscribed to our Pay-as-you-go plan, which is billed based on your store's total monthly order volume. To help avoid surprises, the estimated monthly cost is always displayed clearly in the Account Settings inside the app before charges apply. We also noticed that you contacted our support team about this, and we replied shortly after, but haven’t heard back yet. I needed a gift-wrap option for my Shopify store and found the Super Gift Wrap app to be incredibly small-business friendly. The support team was also very prompt and helpful when I needed assistance setting it up. I’d definitely recommend it to any small business looking to offer gift wrapping.
Great so far! Easy to use and install. Love the pricing structure. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be just as they say.

Nice app but very unclear on how much I would be charged for the app. I ended up deleting the app because I did not want to face unexpected charges.

This app has been great for my site, I have not had any problems all these years. The tiny gift icon that shows on my product page is my favorite as it attracts people to select it. So far a lot of people have selected this gift wrap feature on my product page. Thank you for your amazing service!
Excellent app – simple, effective & great support! The setup was incredibly easy and intuitive – it took just a few minutes to install and customize. We have found this app to very helpful. It's easy for us to offer different styles of gift wrap and an easy way for customers to include a gift message with their purchase. They were very quick and responsive to my request to have the options removed from one product from large amount of product offerings. We are a chocolate shop that offers chocolate covered strawberries that are only available for in store pick up and cannot be wrapped.
Great service and simple to use, just works. Limited functionality and customisability. We needed to allocate gifts to specific products but this can't be done on this app. Formatting is a bit weird if you want to add additional text. The devs were surprisingly willing to help and knowledgeable about what can and can't be done with their app, so I commend them for this! Thanks for your service.

I have been using it for a long time and it is very successful app.
Just installed this on the PAYG model - which is great for us because we're so small right now. Really easy and intuitive to configure. I had a small issue (user error), fired off an email and got a response in minutes that resolved my issue. Faultless. Good work guys.
I apologize for saying this, but their app has proven unreliable due to recurring errors. I’ve recorded videos of the issue multiple times and sent them to their support team, only to receive responses like, “This problem has been resolved,” when in fact, it hasn’t been fixed. This has happened repeatedly, and I’m quite disappointed by the wasted time. Specifically, the app is implemented in the cart drawer, but when a gift message is entered and the customer proceeds to checkout, part of the message entered toward the end doesn’t get saved and remains incomplete. Additionally, the saved message cannot be reviewed on the checkout page, so customers might proceed without noticing the issue. I leave this review hoping that the poor quality of support will become more attentive and serious moving forward.

It does not have a free plan, contrary to what the Shopify App Store listing says. It only has 7 day free trials on paid plans. Don't waste your time installing if you need a free plan.

Great app to show gift wrapping options to your customers
We were looking for an app to allow customers to add a message to their order in the cart (as well as the order notes). This app is quick to set up and does exactly what we were looking for.
Super netter und schneller Kontakt mit direktem Support in der Testphase. Wir haben uns dann doch für eine andere App entschieden, da man hier nur ein Geschenkpapier global für die Order auswählen kann. Wir haben etwas gesucht, wo man unterschiedliche Papier für mehrere Geschenke (mit Zuweisung) anbieten kann. Schade, sonst wäre das für uns die richtige App gewesen.

Update: Since now they have fixed the issue for me. I'm updating my review. I hope they could do a better job communicating but they did fix the issue for me. This has to be the worst app ever. The major issue is the developer is impossible to communicate with. They said they can't have a cancel button for the popup, so you have to save your gift option, you can't close the window without saving. How ridiculous. Then I sent them the screenshots over and over again telling them there should a cancel button, they JUST don't get what I mean, or they pretend they didn't see it or something. They are totally lacking both communication skill and technical skills. Avoid at all cost.

Simple to install, plug in and easy to make the changes I needed to language/style etc and no coding needed at all to make it look good o Choice of text colours/fonts and pick your own photo… really simple and effective. Im super happy so far - just what I’d hoped for for my website :)
This is the 5th gift app I tried and this is the one for us. Simple set up -- it showed up immediately and so did all the changes I made (not my experience when I played with other apps). The "products" --wrapping, messaging, and receipts -- are separate so it doesn't look funky if you only want to use 1 piece of it (not my experience when I played with other apps). Worked instantly with drawer carts (not true with other apps). I wanted the location to change slightly and their dev team had that done in minutes and their communication was super clear.
Great App, easy to install, incredibly easy to use, first class support and developer followup, and last but not least, so pleased to have this as part of our shop, regards Steve

I tried a couple of different gift wrap apps and this is definitely the best. Easy to set up and looks good on my site. Shahar was very responsive and helped to customize the app to fit my theme perfectly. Within a few hours of setting up I had my first giftwrap order! Updated to say that I had an issue with the box not showing up and the team were quick to respond and fixed it straight away:)
Deducting fees even when i unsubscribed from the app !!! Very bad ………………………………………………………………………………………..
