Had a small issue with the colors rendering double on product swatches (it said "jacket - black - black"). Sent an email to customer service, they replied with 6 minutes. It was fixed within 22 minutes. I was still in the trial period, but will stay for sure.

I’ve been using the Variator app (EX Show Variants on Collection) and it’s made shopping so much easier on my store. Customers can now see all the variants right on the collection page and add the exact one they want to cart without opening the product page. We looked at a few different apps that would allow us to show colour variants as individual products on the collection pages and this app proved to be the best option! It's been a great enhancement on our website! In the demo stage, their support was quick to help with set-up and after install when there was a small issue they were quick to respond and work on solving it. I would recommend this app and the technical support behind it.

Great tool to split products by color variant. Customer service handled my most recent issue fast and easily. I wish it worked on other collection options such as the "Collection Switcher" on the homepage, but I'm happy with what it does do.

Problem solver

The app does what it says, but comes with several limitations. We ended up not using it as it cannot be combined with, for example, dual image on hover, or the very important feature to display the specific size stock for the alternate variations, but instead shows the stock of the first variant. Support was always quick to answer and said it was due to how our theme was designed, which is disappointing since we are using one of the most popular e-commerce premium themes on the market. It might work flawlessly for some, but I would have rather saved my money than end up just uninstalling it.

Really frustrating customer service experience. App completely conflicts with our 2.0 theme (expanse). Reached out as advised on Whats App. it was an obtuse back and forth with long lags - they were constantly reminding me what time it was in Pakistan instead of fixing problem. Finally did get a fix two days later where every variant was showing the same photo in the same color - which obviously was not completed work. Another 20 hours went by. Finally just deleted it. There are plenty of competitors in this space and prompt customer service for an app that tends to create java errors is essential. Don't bother.

Horrible app support, this add-on broke my filters on my website. Have been trying to contact the developers for over a week. Tried WhatsApp and email. Completely unhelpful and unresponsive. They use time zones as an excuse, but I've responded them immediately in the early AM's just to respond.

Works perfecly for my usecase. Biggest advantage is the support. They fixed all my small problems within 48 hours so that the app fits my shop 100%.

TOP Customer Support Wir hatten zunächst das Problem, dass mit der Shopify App "Seach & Discovery" die Filter nicht mehr funktioniert haben. Der Support hat umgehend auf unsere Anfrage reagiert und direkt (übers Wochenende) das Problem behoben. Das Problem wurde auch nicht durch irgendwelche Code Schnipsel gelöst, sondern durch Anpassung in deren eigenen App. Wir können VARIATOR wirklich sehr empfehlen und die App macht genau das, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Issue was very promptly fixed after this review, finally got some very good support which resolved the issue in less than 10 minutes. Thank you. I am leaving the original review for transparency. _______ App has been very buggy, even after setting the rule correctly, some products in the collection show variants, while some products don't. Been in contact with customer service for mutiple times, slow response and slow to fix the issue. Also, you are unable to show the "sold out" label in the variant of the product that is out of stock. This is misleading as the variant will still show as available in the collection page, which makes for poor customer experience. I have highlighted this issue to the developer for many times, but there is no action to fix this key feature. Lastly, there has been a price hike to add new features like "show only colour variants" which was intially part of the ultimate plan. Now you have to pay more than 2 times to get the platinum plan for a simple feature.

The app says it has 24-hour support and I have been waiting for a few hours for a response on their WhatsApp channel and they do not respond. The app does not work as promised.
