If you’re looking for an all-in-one wholesale solution for Shopify, look no further than YMQ B2B & Wholesale Solution. From my experience: the app works exactly as promised. It allows you to designate customers for wholesale access, hide or show different pricing, apply bulk or quantity-based discounts, enforce minimum and incremental orders, and even manage tax/VAT rules. Before this app, we were either lacking wholesale functionality or paying far too much for apps that did only half the job. This truly covers the full spectrum of wholesale requirements while keeping things within our existing store. Additionally, the support staff are friendly, professional and quick to respond. In our first month with the app, we saw our average wholesale order size increase and our internal admin burden go down. For anyone seeking a scalable, professional wholesale setup on Shopify, this is a standout option.
We installed this app to manage B2B pricing on a Shopify store selling across Europe. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with discount recalculation during checkout. The app applies B2B pricing using a discount. The discount is calculated correctly at first, but when Shopify updates the product price during checkout (for example when the customer changes the shipping country or enters a valid EU VAT number), the discount does not recalculate. As a result, the final price becomes incorrect. Example: France → product price 26.90 €, discounted price 7.68 €. Customer changes country to Portugal → Shopify updates the product price to 27.58 €, but the discount remains based on the original price. The developer confirmed the issue but said they do not plan to fix it. Because of this, the app is not reliable for EU stores using Shopify Markets, VAT changes, or VAT-exempt B2B customers.

Hi, Thank you again for your message, and I apologize for the delayed response. Recently, most of our development resources have been focused on building our upcoming **B2B V2 version**, which is designed to make the system more flexible, powerful, and easier for merchants to configure complex pricing logic. Because of this, our response time may not have been as fast as usual. Regarding the issue you described, the current behavior is related to how B2B pricing is typically implemented on Shopify. Our app applies B2B pricing using draft orders. Once the draft order is created and the customer enters the Shopify checkout, third-party apps are no longer able to execute code or modify pricing. If the customer changes the shipping country or VAT status during checkout, Shopify may update the product price based on Markets or tax rules, but apps cannot recalculate discounts at that stage. It is also worth mentioning that the majority of B2B apps on Shopify rely on draft orders in a similar way, which means they are subject to the same platform limitations. The only potential technical direction to address this type of issue would involve using **Shopify Functions** provided by Shopify. However, Shopify Functions currently have strict limitations on input and output size, execution time, and overall computational complexity. Because of these constraints, we cannot yet confidently confirm whether a stable solution is feasible for this scenario. What we can say is that as part of our ongoing V2 development, we will continue to evaluate whether there might be a viable approach to handle cases like this in the future. This is not a situation where we simply do not want to fix the problem. When building on top of the Shopify platform, some capabilities are constrained by the APIs and infrastructure that Shopify provides. I cannot say enough good things about YMQ B2B & Wholesale Solution. Our wholesale channel used to be cumbersome: manual pricing spreadsheets, customer lists, and special orders. With this app, we created a wholesale registration form, auto-tagged approved customers, set wholesale pricing and quantity rules automatically, and streamlined the process end-to-end. Our turnover of wholesale orders has grown significantly because the process feels professional to the customer and manageable for us internally. On top of that, the actual setup was intuitive and the UI is clean. Whenever we have had questions, the support team was quick to respond and very helpful—whether it was a minor UI tweak or a more complex scenario. I would absolutely recommend this to other Shopify merchants looking to simplify wholesale operations.

Titre : Une perte de temps – à éviter absolument J’ai testé YMQ pour gérer un formulaire B2B et c’est une catastrophe. L’interface semble prometteuse, mais rien ne fonctionne correctement : le formulaire de création de compte grossiste est instable, un jour il fonctionne, le lendemain plus rien. Les décalages sur mobile rendent la mise en page inutilisable, ce qui est inacceptable pour un site pro. C’est sans doute gratuit pour une raison : ce n’est pas fiable du tout. Je déconseille totalement cette application si vous cherchez un outil sérieux pour le B2B sur Shopify.
Ymq B2B is a fantastic app. It has all the features and functionality needed for my online store. Their support team is responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend using Ymq B2B.
Very good app to handle the B2B business. Fast and helpful support, too. One star missing because the discount feature could not be used in our case. But all in all very easy to use.

I'm really impressed with this app. It helps you offer wholesale discounts with your existing catalog. The support is also quick and fast. I have used other Ymq apps and they are great as well.
A highly useful app to enable special prices, discounts, or hidden products based on customer tags. Works well, for a free product, however documentation and instructions aren't the best. Support is quick within operating hours but only available via mail and it's not always clear what's happening. No information about theme compatibility and no ability for user to update or change versions when updating theme. They are also changing to a subscription model

This plugin offers premium features at, well, no cost at all. The developers are amazing, they are very easy to reach and work with. The plugin works flawlessly. You can create tiers for wholesale, you can event limit the purchase quantity which is very handful for us. The plugin is overall the best plugin for wholesale. I tried several plugins (including premium plugins) and they all had non-straightforward implementation, some simply added a table to the product page with different pricing.

Great app! I would recommend it to everyone who is in the B2B business or wants to do something in that direction. You can modify every part of your registration form and for me the most important part was the order limit. You can decide how many pieces are the minimum order and how many are the maximum. And many other things! Trust me, give it a try!

A fantastic free app. I needed a way to implement some basic wholesale controls, nothing fancy. But this app has a LOT of different functions and I highly recommend it!
UPDATE 2 March 18: After allowing YMQ dev on March 13 to install a test version to fix my initial malfunction, they now seem to have exploiting it to install what I call a hack that prevents us to sell anything, regardless B2B or B2C. Through 1 of their javascript extensions, I cannot reach in code myself to disable them, they disabled the checkout button on my cart page with JS triggered inline CSS ["checkout"] {display:none !important;} Under no functional circumstances an app should be allowed to disable checkout. Witness the screen at imgur dot com slach 5Ls7IJu. This app developer does not deserve to be active on one of biggest e-commerce platforms. --- UPDATE March 14: YMQ dev fixed the discount issue 2 days ago, but immediately discovered that the main functionality we chose this app for, being the EU tax exemption for B2B customers, no longer works. During checkout, with a valid VAT-number provided in the cart, tax is no longer deducted. This is a major issue where I haven't received feedback from in the past 48 hours. Downgrading my stars from 3 to 1 for not acknowledging the issue with prompt customer service feedback. --- This broad featured app has served us well over the past year. Very intuitive setup and configuration, seamless integration in our selected theme. Translation is only available in 1 language via the apps configuration, so alternatives via frontend javascript required to be coded. Recently, after activation of Shopify's product discounts, we discovered that discounts are no longer correctly shown in the cart. After contacting YMQ support they acknowledged the dev issue and promised to fix it ASAP. In attendance, we can't use discounts on our production sites, neither disable the b2b code part causing the issue. I will update the review in a month with the actual status.

Hi, Our technical department has investigated the issue you mentioned about the hidden checkout button. The results are as follows: Since many apps in Shopify need to take over the checkout button to implement some functions. Some apps may hide the original checkout button of the theme and create an identical cloned checkout button through their own code to ensure that their app can completely take over the click event of the checkout button. So in this case, the original checkout button will be hidden, and the cloned new checkout button may also be mistakenly hidden by other apps with such operations, which makes the checkout button in your store seem to disappear. We checked the code of your store and conducted some tests. We found that this problem exists with a small probability and may be related to the order of code execution. In your store, our app needs to take over the checkout button, and other apps (such as upsell apps) also need to take over the checkout button, which may be the cause of this problem. We have made adjustments to the code of our app to help you avoid this problem. We need to state that we will not leave hacker code in your store to destroy your store, which is not allowed. Our team is making some major upgrades to this app to meet more flexible and complex needs. This upgrade will be completed by the end of this year. This version of the code cannot be used with Shopify discounts at present. We will also enable Shopify discount compatibility for some stores, but we will inform customers in advance that this function is a test version and there will be some problems, and these problems will not be solved in the short term (because our main work is currently refactoring and updating the new version). We hope that the new version can solve most of the problems we have collected so far. For the problems you mentioned, they only appeared after we enabled the test code for you. These problems involve the original code architecture of the app and are not easily solved. We have been using this app for nearly a year now and it suits us very well. Same features as the paid apps, and this does it for free!
Really good app. Intuitive, flexible and easy to setup. For me works great. Support also works great.
Of the APPs we looked at, this was the best for our store situation (physical store with an online/pick up at the store) and with a 2-type of customer base (contractor and retail), needing separate pricing structures on the website (for each type customer when logged in as contractor, specifically) AND on the POS. There are a few bugs to work around but a good Shopify Tech can help navigate these issues. I have not had personal contact with customer service, so I cannot speak to this matter. The registration form is customizable for the B2B customer, but the integration of the data into the metrics of Shopify are limited. This, and the above mentioned tech need, almost cause a reduction of a star, but otherwise it is a 5-star app (unlike some fiasco apps we tried!).
We were looking for an alternative to shopify's b2b platform and came across this app. It works perfectly to suit our needs particulary with user forms, select users, select collections and custom calculated pricing.

At first, my emails to the support team were going to their spam folder so if you don't hear back from them for a while, try writing via the app form again. Once they received my messages, they were so helpful and responded very quickly. They helped me with all of my questions (and I had a lot!) and they never made me feel bad about asking. They also responded in a very clear and easy to understand way. I really appreciate this app!
