We purchased the Electro theme from Arena about 6 months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with it. The theme continues to function smoothly and meets all our expectations. We also had a few modifications and small changes that we wanted, and the Arena support team was quick to accommodate them. They even went beyond their customer support policy to make small customizations for us. Their customer service has been truly impressive, always responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this theme and their support!

Great App for adding metafields to my website theme!

This was my first time asking for support in the custom field. The Support team fixed my issue with no problem and their support communication was great.

I had a quirky issue, and once I reached tech support, they fixed my issue in less than 24 hours. Wow. That was great. The app has been incredibly helpful in setting up a custom modification for my Shopify product page. I couldn't be happier.

Terrible support. We used this app to make custom fields for FAQ pages on each product we then added a link to our FAQ page. The url is correct . However when you click on it goes to a 404 page because is doubles the url. Reached out to support for over a week. They finally got back to resolve the issue.

This is an amazing app with very powerful features that meet all our needs for a professional store. The customer support is just out of this world. They are very fast and kind. They resolved my issue in less than one hour. Full marks to customer support team and technical support team.

Be very careful with this app, all of a sudden it started picking up our custom pricing and editing the price to display $0.00 at check out. Resulting in the product pricing all messed up in your cart We explained how urgent it was to the app owner , still waiting We have to remove from each product one by one because no help from developer

We have been getting "ourstore.myshopify.com refused to connect" the past 2 weeks anytime we try to open the app. I've left two support tickets, no one has got back to me. And when I try to create an account on their portal to see the tickets, it says I'm not allowed on the portal. Then when I tried contacting them on their general site's form, after form submission it says "the site can't be reached". Is this app now dead? What is going on? I'll happily update this review if you guys actually get back to me and help us get the app running again. Please assist! Can you kindly send your request to support@arenacommerce.com? Is the Tool currently offline? I can't get access to the dashboard, I get the following error message: "app.advancedcustomfield.com refused to connect." The app was working well until 2 days ago when it stopped working. We build our whole store with it so we can't access any of our functionality to change, adjust etc. Pretty bad timing as there are a couple of sales ahead starting tomorrow :/ We were so sorry to hear about the negative experience you had with the app. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the stress and frustration this has caused you.

This app has allowed me to edit fields in other apps, something that wouldn't be possible otherwise without going into coding. Life saver!

This app keeps crashing. We rely on it for supplemental info on product listings and were just told that they do not have developers to fix it for TWO WEEKS. Two weeks where we cannot add any new products to our shop. I am beside myself - beware adding this garbage app to your site. You will not get the support you need when it stops working.

We loved this app for the longest time, but it's been down the past few days, and have had zero communication from them, even though I've emailed them a few times. We usually access it daily and have not been able to so it's affecting sales on our website. I really hope they get back to us soon. 9.17.2021 UPDATE: ArenaCommerce reached out quickly after receiving this review and additional contact through Shopify Plus Support. I was not aware, nor was it obvious, that support requests only occur in their support portal and not via email. Upon logging into their support portal I did see that they responded to my initial email for help very quickly, and that information did solve my problem. For those of you that are considering this app, just be aware that they have a support portal that you need to create an account on, vs just being able to communicate requests via email. Other than this misunderstanding, I do recommend the app. We use it for a large variety of different features on our website and it works perfectly. We already reply you 2 days ago: https://support.arenacommerce.com/a/tickets/85743. Please check the ticket response then follow instructions. You may add our support email to the whitelist if you don't receive this email from our support team.

This app works great! We use it to add schema to our recipe blog posts. My only complaint is the relatively annoying popup that asks you if you want to leave a review every single time you navigate to a new page.

The app is fine however I am only writing this review so I stop getting the annoying review request every time I use the custom fields

We use this app is the platform for our custom amends. It's really great and allows a heap of customisation!!

Great add on, but kept prompting to review to be able to use it. And you have to use a minimum 100 characters to be to submit a review.

This app is great for a using metafields on our site! Also the support I have received has been top notch!

I use this app to add additional photos to product collections. I wish the integration was more direct but it accomplishes what we need to do.

Works for the things we need it too. Also helps keep other page design apps at a more manageable price.

Pretty simple to use and does what it is intended. Would be great if Products tab had a way to filter against Active products for faster movement through each products when doing a lot of custom field updates.

So far so good. The only thing that annoys me is that I get review requests that pop up every time I go in lately so only really writing a review to shut that up.

Used to add custom product data to receipts. Functionality works well. Wish the app loaded a little faster.

Good app that was pretty useful in our development workflow. The credits system that is used for bulk imports and exports might be unforgiving sometimes in case you make a mistake or if there is an error.

We used this app to create sections on the product page, so we could customize them with images and information. It works excellently and easy to make changes / updates.

Pretty satisfied so far with this app, but it can be a bit confusing to set up until you work with it a bit. We use it to add sections to our product pages as well as collection pages. App WILL NOT stop asking me to leave a review. I can't open it without it asking me multiple times. My recommendation would be to not be as pushy about them.

A must-have app for flexibility with content and customization. Requires a level of development experience to implement. Good price too.

Its reliable and the Support team is fast to respond. They collaborated with our Developer when a Shopify Update caused problems. The app could have some more options in terms of UX to help differentiate different components / Elements in it's admin layout but does the basic Job well.

Overall a good app. Kind of stinks to have to open a new window every time your doing an edit. Also the pop up asking me to leave a review wouldn't go away until I wrote one so that's pretty annoying.

Very powerful app to extend your site—the possibility of adding extra fields and having a rich editor to add information is quite powerful. Like the reviewer below, the only thing I don't like is their lack of a bulk editor. I understand they make you download and upload in order to "charge" you points for updating items, but they could do the same by providing a more powerful bulk editor than the one Shopify offers and make it worth it by removing the hassle of finding those fields and item id's. I would be more than happy to upgrade or acquire more points if they had that. That said, the tool is great at what it does and very reliable. Recommended.

So far, the app has been great and has helped us merchandise our products better. We currently on use it from product sets but are exploring other functionalities.

The app mostly works great but the bulk edit option does not. You still have to go to every item, expand the field, and save it for the bulk edit to process. Sólo lo mostramos con la condición de que lleves bastante tiempo utilizando la aplicación y tengas suficiente experiencia con ella.

Only complaint is that when I export multiple products to copy and paste custom fields, the details custom field does not always upload correctly if I change anything on the csv. Good app. Support is quick to respond. Has a good feature app, probably the best Advanced Custom Fields app, simple to use.

It does what it's supposed to do, but it's an "extra layer" that makes product management quite tedious, especially when combined with a translation app. I wish the layout were more compact and closer to the Shopify look and feel and more intuitive. Overall a good app, but when possible, build your store in a way you will not require extra field.

This app is of great help to update product pages and add elements to your content that don't come out of the box with Shopify.

Our developers have this app set up for our store so we can make specialized adjustments to our product listings - it's a great add-on for stores looking to have additional features such as up-sells/related products, additional product information sections, and etc. I recently reached out with a suggestion for a UX improvement that I felt would greatly help user ease and they were quick to respond, and even took my suggestion seriously and added the feature that same day!

This app added a lot of functionality to our product pages, which I wanted on our site. I definitely recommend it!

I'm pretty sure most of these reviews are fake, since they seem to have tons of people someplace in Asia doing their amateur support (probably writing all the reviews as well). The tab edits are not being saved and I've been trying to fix this one problem for over a week already. Horrible technical support, amateurs, now are offering to work for $30 per hour. They're reply: "Sorry, ACF only supports you to manage meta fields (data in the backend). About theme display, please contact your theme developer to fix how it displays. I see you 3 text custom fields for your tabs. You may change it to HTML fields for easy custom content for better layout results. We may help you change it with a custom task fee for the theme customization. It will take about 2 hours to do. Total cost: $60. If you want to do it, please let me know, I will process it." First of all, very sorry to you for the bad experience. Your requirement isn't the app's feature, it's a theme customization request. So, we should charge for any customization theme requests as an expert task.

So far so good. It has allowed us to customise our website to show the information they way we want to. Can be a little glitchy, but after a little investigation we have been able to get around any issues. UPDATE: Love how it has made the website so customised for what we want to present to our customers.

we use this application to assist in adding PDF instructions, secondary titles, and video links. Im sure over time we will utilise this app alot more. I would also just like to say the development team dubbed "the A Team" really excells in their customer service, always able to promptly assist and often rectify any issues i run into. Highly recommend this company for both apps and shopify themes.

The app functions for us as it should. Being that it's free, I was sceptical however, we are using it to populate custom searches within our store and it hasn't skipped a beat.

Once I wrapped my head around how this app works and what it can do - I am in awe of the power of it. Using Custom fields to regulate what can be populated into meta fields is what I am using this for, and should greatly stream line and reduce errors when creating products. I am not even sure if that is what you should be using this for as I am a novice, but its working great for me so far. I have not even started using it for other aspects of the store yet, but will check them out soon. THANK you for this app.

This is the best app I have used for Shopify. This really expands what you can do with Shopify. Their support staff is also the best. They are quick to respond and go above and beyond in their responses.

Used it successfully to add product descriptions to our all products page. Great app and great support.

The app looked really good at the start. But the thing that did the whole app in is the import sample data. This wipes out all that you have created earlier if you use it accidentally. Lost 4 hours of work. Just too sensitive in a team environment. A supposedly useful feature is its Achilles heel. Thank you for your reply. Saving a template feature is quite important.
