Digital Downloads ‑ Fileflare

I run a very small home-based business selling a niche book of railway maps. I needed a way to distribute PDF versions to my customers at an affordable price and after trying several others, I found Fileflare was the best tool for the job. Even the lowest-cost tier offers me the flexibility to run my little shop effectively. Customer service is exactly what it should be, too. If it works this well for my little store then I can only imagine how much flexibility it will provide for larger businesses. Strongly recommended!

Using Fileflare for a short time but it works well. It was easy to upload our digital products even though one of them had 97 audio tracks and a large PDF document. We did a test purchase to a mobile phone and it went smoothly. The audio tracks downloaded directly on an iPhone with no other apps needed and we could play them directly from the files folder on the phone. Highly recommend Fileflare for audio track delivery.

This is a great app to get pdf downloads out to customers efficiently. Highly recommended.

I have been using Fileflare for over a year now and I really love how it works. I would certainly recommend this as the best app for digital downloads on Shopify. Also their support team is great. They listen to you and help you if you need customizations and it just works like a charm. You can also connect it to your own file hosting if you want or you can use theirs. FileFlare does exactly what I need -- delivers download links to files automatically upon order. I self host the files to save on costs. FileFlare allows me to do everything within Shopify instead of needing an outside app. It couldn't be more user friendly. Also, the new blocks feature lets me see the unique download links that my customers get in their account pages, within my order page on Shopify. 10/10 do recommend.

Excellent app and outstanding support We've been using Fileflare for many years to deliver ebooks and audio files through our Shopify store and have been very happy with it. Recently, we experienced an email deliverability issue, and the support from Ian was exceptional. He was responsive, transparent about the cause of the problem, kept us informed about the fix, and followed up afterward to make sure everything was working properly. He also took the time to discuss options for improving our email delivery in the future without trying to push us into a more expensive plan. Incredible customer service. (Especially if you want to switch services.) I switched from Pendora because Pendora stopped sending emails without warning, leaving a huge backlog of unsent products... it was a disaster. Worse still because Pendora has no "export as CSV" function. When I switched to Fileflare, the customer service team (Ian specifically) helped track down everyone who hadn't got their products, and email them (through Fileflare now) their exact orders. On the same day I switched. Fileflare solved a very gigantic weeks-long headache. 5 stars. Thank you for the kind words, and for giving Fileflare a try! I've been on Shopify for over six years, and I've never come across an app this good and robust, and on top of that, the support from William and Max is amazing. The ease of scheduling, attaching additional assets, and limiting downloads all provide so much peace of mind. There's hardly ever been an outage or issue, and they'll reach out within minutes if you have a question or need guidance. I only wish I could give 10 stars! :)

I used to use SendOwl to manage digital download delivery to my customers. Then they raised my monthly subscription by 15x with no warning. That's when I found Fileflare. It's honestly a way better user experience than Sendowl and it's way less expensive. It has everything I need to deliver the downloads to my customers. And the download pages integrate into my website better and look better than the Sendowl download pages. Would definitely recommend Fileflare

Great app and support!

Ive been using Fileflare now for a number of years to upload and send out my digital products I sell on Shopify. The team are great at communication each time I need help and overall the platform works great. There have been a few hiccups now and then but they are quickly sorted out. Each time I have a new idea on how to improve the experience the team always listens to my feedback. I highly recommend this app.

We’ve been extremely happy with Fileflare. After dealing with the limitations and quirks of Shopify Digital Downloads, switching to Fileflare has been a huge improvement for both our team and our customers. The setup is straightforward, file management is reliable, and—most importantly—the customer experience is _dramatically_ better. Files are easy to manage, updates are smooth, and we’ve seen far fewer support issues. It feels like Fileflare was designed by people who actually understand software and digital product delivery workflows, not just generic digital goods to check off arbitrary bullet points. Support has been responsive and helpful when we needed them. Their onboarding support was also stellar. They even followed up with us on feature requests. Highly recommended. 5 stars. Would give six if I could.

This product is excellent and the support is even better. They have always been very responsive and recently worked with us to troubleshoot an uncommon issue we were having.

Went through my extensive order history and pulled in all my pre-existing digital orders I wanted to use it for, which was something my older Download app couldn't do and this saved me a ton of time. Uptime is great, but support response when something does go wrong is even better. Nothing works all the time, but if support is responsive and fixes things quickly, that gives me long term confidence in the tool for my store.

Easy to use and setup

Great product, and tech support is stellar. I was able to get in touch with an actual human and get the answers I needed - very quickly - to complete setup. Then, when I needed an option added to the PDF Stamp feature (the primary use in my case for this app), the team responded and the feature had been added within about a week. It can be a real gamble sometimes choosing between apps. Very glad I went with FileFlare. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to protect their digital products!

Excellent app with truly outstanding support FileFlare has been a great solution for our digital downloads. The delivery page is clean, secure, and user-friendly (especially with the video instructions we requested). What really stands out is the support team. They've been extremely responsive and helpful twice now: - Added the ability to embed videos directly in the delivery page editor when we asked. - Performed a bulk edit on all our imported historical orders to restrict access and protect our version policy. They're even working on a longer-term solution for per-order file snapshots. This level of support is rare and very much appreciated. Highly recommend FileFlare, especially if you value a team that listens and acts.

I can’t praise this app enough! It’s easy to use and very straightforward. I love that I can manage a large library of digital products and the app handles it without slowing down. My favorite feature is the option send updates to my customers when I make changes. It's a much needed feature in my case since version updates happen often. Files are delivered instantly and, and I never had issues with customers not receiving their downloads. The support has been fantastic. In the beginning, the team helped me import items from another app, and since then, over the past 2 years of using it, everything worked exactly as it should. I didn't need to contact support since. Big thanks to the team for an amazing app that my business can't run without!
