This app is ok, but graphics are not realistically to me.

Kaktus Slide Cart is incredibly predatory. The app makes it seem like disabling it will stop the charges, but it keeps billing you in the background. The “disabled” screen gives no warning, it only shows subscription options, giving the impression that your account is inactive. The only way to actually stop being charged is to uninstall the app entirely, and they refuse to issue refunds even after you realize what happened.

We’d like to clarify that app charges are managed through Shopify’s subscription system. Disabling the app inside the dashboard does not automatically cancel the subscription — the billing is tied to the active subscription, not the widget status. To fully stop charges, app must be uninstalled. That said, we completely understand how this can be confusing, and we’re actively working on improving the messaging inside the app. We never intend to mislead merchants, and your feedback helps us improve both our product and communication. I can not tell you how easy Anne made this whole process. I have got to the point of creating upsell on so many apps then to be told there is a monthly fee. Anne made it clear from the start if something wasnt part of their app and changed it for me. I had a big launch to get ready for and increase sales. I have been using the Slide Cart: Sticky Cart Drawer app. It works well for keeping the cart easily accessible. However, I have noticed that it sometimes covers other important elements on my website, like widgets or buttons. I would appreciate it if the developers could add an option to adjust the placement so it doesn’t interfere with other content

works great, one of the only couple of apps that has the free shipping bar (where it fills up until they earn free shipping), same thing for meeting a rewards threshold.

It's a great app with a variety of settings. But not usable for multilingual stores - you can't translate cart drawer to 2 or more languages

I wish I can give a -ve star rating for this app. It worked really well for a few months, and then things broke, I mean came to a grinding halt. I am unable to login to their app and make any changes. Customer service exists but barely, and their ETA for fixing a production issue is 72 hours. I don't know how anyone can run an ecommerce store with this type of app and support when you are simply unable to make dynamic changes and see it take effect.

This app has lost me sales. I had numerous customers contact me to say they couldn't add to cart. When I disabled the app suddenly they could purchase again.

If you wonder why it's a free app, read the policy well. This could be why. Broad collection of personal data: The policy states Kaktus may collect a wide range of personal information including name, addresses, phone numbers, payment info, IP addresses, geolocation data, and device identifiers when you use their services and apps. Sharing data with third parties: While it says Kaktus doesn't provide personal data to third parties for marketing purposes, it does share personal data with "unaffiliated companies" and "trusted third party service providers" that help operate their services.
