We installed MIDA specifically to block a barrage of dodgy account registrations, and it has done the job brilliantly. No more fake accounts cluttering our website. A special shout-out to the support team, who were incredibly helpful.
Easy to set up. You can allow all verified good bots and block suspicious crawlers or bots. It will be worth it if you try it
We have been using Mida for a month or so now and it seems to help block most of the abandoned carts we were getting from bots. They go straight to checkout unfortunately which has made it a bit more difficult to block - but Mida has help alleviate the pain from them.
Great app! Always some kinks trying to outsmart the bots, but as soon as it's brought to the team's attention, they work to figure out a way to stop the attacks.
it's great , helped me block some users and visitors from certain countries that are well know of having spam or fraudant visitors and activity
I'm still in the early stages of testing this app, but so far it's been very useful.
Was told would be free forever when installed , without a limit. It does Seems to work like it says it will .

Really great app so far - I found sources of spam and scraping bots and managed to get rid of 100% of unfinished checkouts and weird traffic (mostly coming from China).
My store was getting a huge amount of bot traffic, and MIDA made it easy to get under control. The country blocking, bot protection and VPN/proxy settings are clear and simple to set up. I had help from Claude to make sure I was configuring everything correctly, but I was really impressed by how easy the app is to use and how well it works. The traffic from the countries I blocked dropped right away. Highly recommended for any Shopify store dealing with bots!
Easy to set up and the support was excellent. Chloe helped me configure bot blocking and fake order protection for my digital keys store, and explained each option clearly. Great free app so far, will update after using it longer.

Simple, Effective, and Easy to Set Up I had installed this on another one of our Shopify stores, and once again, I’m very impressed with how easy it is to get up and running. The setup is straightforward, the app is easy to understand, and there’s no need to spend hours figuring out complicated settings. It just quietly does its job in the background, which is exactly what I want from an app like this. I also really appreciate that the app doesn’t feel overloaded with unnecessary features or complexity. Everything is clear, and it works right out of the box. After using it successfully on one store, adding it to a second was an easy decision. Definitely an app I would recommend to anyone looking for a simple and effective way to help protect their Shopify store.
Exactly What I Was Looking For MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker is one of those apps that just works. Setup was extremely easy, and when I did have a question, their support was incredibly quick to respond and helpful. (Thanks Chloe) The best part is that it started working right from the beginning without a lot of complicated configuration or troubleshooting. It’s refreshing to find an app that does exactly what it says it will do. I’m honestly so happy I found this app. Highly recommended!

The fake orders seem to have stopped for now. Still figuring out how to use the app but it is helping.
I am quite happy with this app so far. It was quick to install and I was able to set up several 'block rules' easily. I did need some help and Chloe was fantastic at resolving my issues and answering my questions. I am very impressed with the service so far!
Very effective and amazing customer service. Recently, we've been having bots trying to check out cheap items to test stolen cards. There was a minor issue with the app, but the team quickly fixed it, and so far, no bots have managed to check out at all. Highly recommended.

Great product! It's helped me prevent fraudulent bots posing as human traffic to my Shopify store.
I set it up with some basic block settings initially and was able to block fraudulent orders, then they started coming in again and I reached out to support over chat. They helped setup some new features and I have stopped getting fraudulent orders. So far, so good!
MIDA has been excellent for us. It’s a genuinely production-capable Shopify app with a strong range of tools for controlling bots, suspicious traffic and fraudulent behaviour without making the setup unnecessarily complicated. The support has also been first class. Responsive, knowledgeable and willing to help properly when you’re dealing with real-world issues on a live store. We’ve been very impressed with both the app and the team behind it. If you’re running a serious Shopify operation and need better control over bot and fraud traffic, MIDA is well worth considering. In the past I had a lot of issues with my artwork being stolen and sold on Temu, SHEIN, etc. Having the ability to protect my art and deter theft has been awesome. I love how I’m able to block certain countries as from accessing my shop as well, as some are more notorious for being high risk when it comes to theft. MIDA has helped a lot and I’ve recommended it to others experiencing the same issues I have.

I've been seeing small businesses being targeted by bots and fraudulent orders so I quickly installed this bot blocker. They have been extremely helpful getting me started. Really recommend.
Our merchant account provider kept turning off our ability to receive payments due to excessive fraud threats, even though our gateway provider blocked every fraudulent charge attempted. Only after implementing Mida Fraud IP protection were we able to discover and block numerous daily bots that go around the check-out process directly to attempting fraudulent credit card charges. With Mida, we are able to prevent and block automatically these attempts and create specific rules. The dashboard and analytics are a must for any shopify account! The Green Boutique!

Really useful app! We've had a few issues with unwanted bots from various countries hitting our website, and Mida has been so helpful in resolving issues for us. The team are great at responding to any queries we have - they always address issues very quickly. We would definitely recommend them.
Added this after noticing a chunk of our Shopify sessions were inflated by bot/crawler traffic, not real customers — it was messing with our conversion numbers. Since installing, junk traffic has dropped off and our analytics actually reflect real visitors now. Simple to set up, no impact on legit shoppers checking out. Worth it if your traffic reports don't match your gut sense of what's happening on-site.
Fantastic app. We were having issues with bots making fraudulent orders to test out stolen credit cards. They'd buy the cheapest item on our website just to see if the transaction would go through. We tried blocking their IP address at first, but even that wasn't effective due to them using a way to go directly to Shopify's checkout system. MIDA staff quickly worked with me to address that workaround and we haven't had a single fraudulent bot transaction in days now when we were getting multiple every hour.
Great, simple app. So far, the analytics are helping highlight areas that need monitoring, and I’m still learning how to get the most out of the app. It’s easy to use and gives me useful insights into what’s happening with my store.

Just discovered this app after experiencing increasing fraudulent orders and other pesky bot activity on my site. They have been very helpful so far and I have had no fraudulent orders since activating it on my site.
So far, it seems like a great app; the set up to block unrecognized bots is a breeze, and within a few minutes there were already bot hits being recorded on the dashboard. I chatted briefly with Emma, who was very thorough in explaining the answer to my question, which is refreshing. I still need to explore the apps features more but am very happy at this point.

oh my gosh what a difference! Our old app caught only half the bots and nothing from the cart. We had our cart get hit hard and our sales disappeared. I read that bot attacks can jam up your check-outs and one day after implementing MIDA our sales went to new levels. Dont waste your time with the other Apps, this one blocks them all.
Really impressed with this app so far. The setup was straightforward, the settings are easy to understand, and there are a lot of useful options for controlling suspicious traffic without making things difficult for legitimate customers. I especially like being able to choose which verified bots are allowed and adjust the protection level based on our store’s needs. It gives us much more visibility and control over potentially fraudulent activity. Great app for any Shopify store looking for an extra layer of protection.
It’s a relief getting MIDA fraud filter. Before getting MIDA , we were concerned with hundreds of bots coming in from Singapore. It was a pleasure dealing with Sophie, willing to explain in detail and helped setting up our filters, which we were in a hurry to do , before even more bots came at us, so now we can pay attention to our marketing now, instead of concentrating on bots and their nefarious activities. This app is exactly what I have been looking for to help mitigate bots spamming analytics and prevent card testers - early days as I have only just installed but seems great so far.
My store was experiencing what appeared to be a card-testing attack, with repeated small purchases using changing names, emails and payment cards. MIDA support helped me get the protection configured, and within just a few hours it blocked the first fake order attempt. Their support has been very responsive and helpful throughout the setup. So far, I’m very impressed!

The MIDA app helped me block the specific bot that was creating fake checkouts, and I can block a lot of other bad bot traffic. Works great so far! Pretty easy to use.

Cercavo una soluzione chirurgica che mi aiutasse a bloccare i malintenzionati senza penalizzare minimamente i miei clienti reali, in particolare quelli internazionali che navigano da dispositivi mobili o utilizzano browser protetti. The customer service team is EXCELLENT and they truly help you with every detail. I feel much better after downloading this app because I had some suspicious activity on my store that I thought was already protected by Shopify alone. That was not the case. So hopefully this app will continue to be helpful.

I downloaded MIDA to stop it and it was a pretty straightforward app to learn - especially with the help of the *human!* team on the other end of the chat. The attack stopped quickly after engaging the app. The team was very attentive, helpful and friendly. It was a great response and I'd recommend this app to anyone. :)
