Updating my previous review made on June 6, 2016 . . . I’ve had a five-star rating up for this app since i downloaded it over 10 years ago. I’ve updated the review and downgraded the rating to only one star - as low as the rating system allow. Not even deserving of 1 star in my experience over the last year. This app has cost us a lot of lost business and lost time trying to recover business this app has made a mess of. In 2016, the app worked perfectly. If there was ever an issue I was easily able to contact Justin, the cofounder of the original company. Fast forward to today and this has been the most expensive app we have had in our 10-year Shopify history in terms of lost sales and productivity. Countless thousands of dollars. With increasing frequency, orders have come through that only specify the fabric selected - with no information on the product page about the related customizations. This leaves us a task to contact the customer. Recently, installed customization options would spontaneously disappear from related fabrics. We would find out when customers would start emailing us "how can I order this custom item when it just shows a fabric and an ADD TO CART button? No place to enter size, length, etc." We tried countless times to reattach them, and they would eventually disappear again. Hundreds of our man hours lost on this glitch alone. We're done with this app. Their "team" cannot figure it out or fix it. For years now. Only getting worse. We have finally fully migrated to a new customization app that is much more modern, intuitive and trouble free.
Lassandra helped me perfectly with implementing everything I needed. She's amazing. Perfect app :)

Excellent support and fast resolution! I ran into an issue where my personalization fields were no longer working, and Lesandra stepped in and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. Not only was the problem resolved right away, but she also had a fantastic attitude throughout the process—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to get this level of support these days. Highly recommend this app, especially knowing their team is there when you need them!

Still has great customer support. We have used this app for several years and they have always provided excellent support. Their app works great for our customized product options. If you ever have an issue, they are very easy to get in touch with through live chat, and quick to resolve the problem.

Tremendous customer service experience. The app does exactly what I hoped for, but the communication and help far exceeded what I expected. My life would be easier if this type of support existed for all things. I cannot think of a better experience in customer service that I have had!

Updated March 2026 - Lasandra is absolutely exceptional!! We’ve used this app for over 7 years and it continues to perform flawlessly. Our store requires a high level of customization and complex variant configurations, and this app handles it seamlessly. From a customer standpoint, the interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate - which is critical. Lasandra is always extremely responsive, thorough and solution oriented every time we’ve needed assistance. Highly recommend for any brand managing advanced product configurations. 2019- My store requires a lot of variants and this app is perfect for that. From a shopper standpoint, the user experience using the variants is clean, easy, and organized. The customer service is also amazing! Steven was so prompt and thorough in his responses and solved all my problems and did the coding for me. Amazing product!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. For 2 weeks, my business has been paralyzed because customization data fails to reflect in the cart and checkout. I am currently unable to switch to my new theme because of this app, and even worse, it has now stopped working on my current theme as well. They solved this exact same issue 8 months ago, so they know the solution, yet now they are constantly blaming the theme and refusing to take any responsibility. I’ve sent 6-7 emails every single day for 2 weeks with zero results. They keep passing the buck instead of fixing their own integration. If you value your business and your sanity, stay away. Completely unprofessional and unreliable!

Friends at Rou Collection, I am sorry that your experience has been so frustrating. The root problem causing this issue is incompatibility with the bundle/cart drawer app you are using. It thwarts data being sent from product page to to cart and then into the checkout. We may have been able to "fix" a similar issue 8 months ago, but this current cause of the current issue is not something our app can fix. Only the theme developer or alternate app developer can modify the theme code that must be modified to fix this issue. Here are details about what we've done, and to pass to your developer: ------------------ The problem happening with file upload not going to the cart and the add to cart button not working when file uploads exist on the page are two separate issues that have nothing to do with our app. Here is a technical breakdown of each issue affecting both the live theme and the new theme he is working on. 1. Current live theme issue (bundle/cart drawer app) The upcart-bundle.js script calls JSON.stringify({ items: n }) when sending the cart request. This converts the n object to a string, removing File objects from uploads, so customization data never reaches the cart. A similar issue occurred eight months ago; we provided guidance then, but the resolution had to be applied on the theme side. 2. Broadcast theme issue (new theme setup) The Broadcast theme includes code that explicitly prevents form submission whenever a file input exists: if (form !== null && form.querySelector('[type="file"]')) { return; } This causes the Add to Cart button to stop working when a customer selects a file. Our developers applied the proper fix in a copy of the Broadcast theme, where customization data, including uploads, worked correctly, showing that the app functions properly when the theme allows it. We also sent collaborator requests, provided step-by-step guidance, and scheduled a meeting with your theme developers to implement the fix, but it was not attended. Both issues are external to our app. Once the necessary changes are applied, the current issue will be resolved. ------------------ Thank you for your understanding. Not working if you already have option in shopify. You cannot add a simple checkbox+upsell applying to every option price. +Ugly it mades my premium theme "clunky" + cannot setup a dynamic picture when you hit the box.

Customizer works awesome until it doesn't. However, the support team got right on it and fixed the problem. They also found a long term solution to the problem. Etienne from Product Customizer was a great help.

After initially contacting support via their website, I was advised the issue was related to Shopify and couldn’t be resolved directly. I reached out again through Shopify and was connected with Etienne, who worked tirelessly to fix the problem—product personalisation's weren’t coming through with orders to either the customer or our design team. Etienne’s dedication and persistence were outstanding. 100% great customer support. Highly recommended!

02.10.25 I uninstalled the app due to it not being so easy and a few issues with a few missing textboxes - after uninstalling, over an hour ago, the textboxes are still on my website -please remove them asap. Update - 05.09.22 I've had a slight issue with the custom personalisation input, Aman fixed it straight away, hats off and very good service. Thank you. The online support is great across all account types. I submitted via the help page and was contacted within minutes to be assisted. The query took Deep just under 10 minutes to resolve which was great - thank you.

Exceptional App & Unmatched Support from Shevaughn! I can't say enough great things about PC - Product Options by Product Customizer and the phenomenal support provided by Shevaughn! I was trying to set up multiple variant options for a customizable product, and the process seemed daunting at first. But Shevaughn made it an absolute breeze! He walked me through the setup with a clear, step-by-step process that was super easy to follow. And here's the best part—he even jumped on a Google Meet with me! In this digital age, there's nothing better than speaking with a real human when you need help, especially if you're not the most tech-savvy person (like me!). Shevaughn’s patience, professionalism, and expertise were beyond impressive. Thanks to him, I now have my customizable options running smoothly and exactly how I wanted them. Fantastic customer service!! I am really impressed with how the team got back to me and had fixed the issue before I had returned to the office the next day! 10/10 support, friendly and efficient -it may have been a quicker fix because I sent a screenshot of the issue and explained my query in as much detail as possible, so this may be useful to do when you first contact for them for help getting setup. I had never used this app for my store before, but I will be integrating more options on my product pages now as it's not so scary to do Definitely recommend

We have been a Product Customizer client/user over 8 years now. Our entire business is based on custom names, addresses, graphics, etc. to laser engrave and embroider on a wide variety of luggage and equipment tags. Two years ago, we gave this app the 5 star review you can read below. However, in the past year we have had multiple issues with the app not processing our customers personalization options. This is a huge issue as it give our customers a negative view of our brand. I have now changed my review to 1 star as I have lost all trust in this app. While the app ultimately starts to work again, the team can not ever tell me what the root cause is for the issue. Today, it happened again. This is unacceptable. MY OLD REVIEW: In those 8 years, we have only had to reach out 3 times, the latest happened this weekend when we updated our store theme to the latest version. The team quickly responded with a solution and stayed in communication the whole time - allowing us to test and publish our update. Highly recommend! Thank you for the many years of great customer support.

Everything is running smoothly now 03/06/25 PLEASE I NEED HELP ASAP All my personalized products don´t have the personalization options any more, although the app is installed (I´m on the Premium plan). I can´t reach any client support via chat. Please I need help asap 9/13/24 Shevaughn helpd me out finding out the source of the issue, everything is running smoothly. Thanks so much. 9/12/24 The page app disappeared in my shopify store, although the app is installed (I´m on the Premium plan). I can´t reach any client support via email. All of my customized products have their prices changed so now they cost thousands of euro. Please I need help asap Customer support chat is great, Aman helped me so much to have my customizations up and running!

I have been using this app for my custom stationery store for several years. I recently changed theme and was struggling with options not showing. I jumped straight on to chat and had excellent customer support from Lasandra who resolved the issue very promptly!
