Some of the features are a bit confusing, but the support staff has been great to help me figure out what needs fixing. I use the Pre-order for Thanksgiving Turkeys that I raise and can have customers put either a fixed amount, or a percentage deposit. It has worked well, and when it doesn't, the support has been quick and effective.
Camelius went above and beyond when I couldn’t figure out why pre‑orders weren’t working. Even though the issue wasn’t related to the app itself, he pinpointed the root cause immediately and guided me through the fix. That’s real customer service — and thanks to him, we’re now able to accept pre‑orders. Thank you, Camelius!

It's a great app and customer service is amazing. We have a strict quantity that we can't oversell at the point of adding to cart, it seems like a feature controlled by Shopify and it's the same for most apps but Robert at Timesact customised it for us and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
The support for this app is out of this world fast. We have an issue that was causing us £1000 in lost sales and they fixed it within 30mins. Incredibly fast, professional and polite. Can't recommend them enough.

Fairly easy to set up. When I couldn't find a particular thing to change I contacted customer service. They were very quick to respond and Marie was able to help me in a very short time. Highly recommend this app.

Camelius was great at walking us through all the experiences we can build throughout the app. We are excited to start using the pre-order feature since we have a lot of demand on certain products. I have only used the pre-order features but fully intend to use the coming soon / out of stock notifications too. The customer care is amazing, I struggled to set up a complicated pre-order but Tudor from their team set it up for me and explained what I had misaligned. Fantastic customer care.
This looks like the perfect solution to set up pre-orders before my ebooks are ready to fulfill. I like that I have options and control over when orders are fulfilled, in case there are changes or delays. Customer support is excellent and once oriented it was very easy to use.

Timesact has been a fantastic addition to our Shopify store. It’s simple to set up, easy to manage, and does exactly what we need for running pre-orders. One of the best features is how easy it is to set up pre-orders across all our products and their variants. It gives you plenty of flexibility to get everything configured properly without needing to jump straight onto a paid plan. The support is also excellent. Every time we’ve needed help, the team has been incredibly quick to respond, easy to work with, and genuinely helpful in getting things sorted. Great app, great support, and definitely deserving of 5 stars. Highly recommend!

We usually sell digital goods, so no need for pre-orders. However, we are releasing a charity single which has a physical CD available and to receive pre-orders seemed like a great idea so we could see if it was going to be financially viable for us to do so. Not being over technically savvy, I was helped with any queries I had by Princess on the chat line and she made the whole process very uncomplicated to install and adjust any features we required, so thank you for your help with this :) We're only on the free plan, but will definitely be considering one of the featured plans as things evolve.
I wanted to launch a new store with made to order products. I found this app and it works perfectly. There was some technical issues for my particular need and the CTO addressed it themself and quickly. It was the last step before I can launch the store and they were quick to help me. I would recommend for other store owners.

I almost never do reviews but I REALLY love this app. I've used it almost a year, it's so easy to upgrade and downgrade the plan depending on how many items I need have on pre-order. It's super cheap and the amount of plans they have available is so so helpful! I have made a lot of money from the pre-orders as well! It's fantastic for cashflow if you have out of stock products as well!
I've used many different applications for our website, and I can honestly say that Timesact is one of the easiest platforms to navigate. Even on the free plan, it offers a great range of features and capabilities that cover most of our needs. So far, the experience has been very positive. Now I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs once we start using it more actively and integrate it into our workflow.
We waited until we had used TimesAct for a while before leaving a review, and we’re very pleased with both the app and the support behind it. Installation went smoothly. We encountered a couple of minor glitches, but that’s where their customer service really stood out. The first issue involved the app not fitting properly within the cart area. I sent them a message, received a response almost immediately, and the problem was completely fixed within an hour. Later, we experienced an occasional issue where products that were not available for pre-order were appearing as though they were. I opened the chat expecting to deal with an AI bot, but instead I was connected with a real person who patiently said, “Take your time—we’ll get through this.” After receiving standard administrative access to the app, their team investigated and corrected everything without requiring me to do any additional technical work. This is customer service done properly: a real person, responding in real time, with patience and a genuine desire to solve the problem. They didn’t try to rush me through an automated system or make the issue my responsibility. They simply took care of it. Great app, excellent support, and a team that genuinely stands behind its product. We look forward to keeping TimesAct on our store for a long time. Thank you again! Robin

Love this app SO much! Just makes life so easy and prevents endless communication with customers, the app takes care of it. Just spend the time setting it up or let an AI tool do it for you, then its all done! Rommel was a great customer service representative helping with my queries!

Great app and very responsive support. My favorite feature is being able to set pre-orders at the variant level, so in-stock options can keep selling normally while sold-out variants switch to pre-order automatically. That’s exactly what I needed. The setup is flexible, and the support team was very helpful when I had a small issue getting everything synced.

Exceptional customer service. We had an urgent situation where a product variant sold out and we needed pre-orders working fast. Rommel and Tudor from the support team jumped on it straight away and were patient, thorough, and genuinely invested in getting it working correctly rather than just closing the ticket. We hit a couple of technical issues on our side along the way, and they tracked both down and got everything sorted the same day. Really impressed with how responsive and knowledgeable the team was. Highly recommend.
Oh my gosh! I’m at a loss for words! I ran into a small issue with my pre-order settings, and the Timescat team actually resolved it for me within just a few hours, on a Sunday! It’s simply incredible; I would absolutely recommend them!

I use Timesact to set-up a pre-order schedule whilst still having the notify me feature on my stores. It works exactly how I need it to. Their customer service is also top notch! I couldn't work something out but I was able to give Marie access to my store and she sorted it so fast! Highly recommend

Very fast support - we love the app as we use it for our fashion pre selling. The pre selling feature is very easy to implement and works perfectly with our custom theme. It works very well, also for the payment methods. We would recommend it :) Also fair price plans.
Does what it says for batch pre-orders, and support actually answers. Asked a question, got a proper reply the same day rather than a link to the docs.

Love working with Timesact. The whole team is so responsive, patient, and helpful but I have to shout out Rochelle, Princess, Jolo, and Robert. They're always available to work with me when I have questions - they really go above and beyond. The app itself is always improving. The new version covers all the pain points that weren't addressed by the previous iteration (bulk uploading preorder SKUs, multiple inventory locations for messages, etc). I would recommend it to anyone, especially those with complex or ongoing back in stocks/preorders/etc.
Amazing app and phenomenal instant support regardless of timezones. Seamless and very easy to use yet also allowing you to be very specific on how you want things set up. Definitely worth the monthly fee.

Fantastic app and outstanding support... We installed Timesact primarily for its Backorder functionality, which is exactly what we were looking for. It allows us to continue selling products when they are temporarily out of stock, while making it really clear to the customer throughout the purchasing journey that the item is on backorder. We had a small issue when first installing the app, so contacted the support team. Robert, Tudor, Ken and Marie were incredibly helpful and had everything sorted and working correctly in no time at all. Support was very easy to contact, communication was excellent, and the speed at which they resolved the problem was genuinely impressive. The app is now working exactly as we wanted and the Backorder feature in particular is going to be extremely useful for our business. A very easy five stars from us - highly recommended.

Preorders are a nightmare for my shop and i've tried all sorts of methods to make it easier over the years but this app is the best i've found. The flexibility in the settings to create individual customer experiences for each preorder product and set cart warnings for mixed carts is excellent. All rounded off by a super competent and responsive real person chat support (thanks especially to Robert who went the extra mile!). Highly recommend!
