GoodAPI: Donations and Trees

We were looking for a roundup app to support our Hunger Action Month campaign. Although we couldn't have the feature in checkout, the mini cart experience was effective. The best part of this app is their support team. Saif, from support, was incredibly responsive making our overall experience a positive one.

A really great app that runs seamlessly, so much so that I don't ever think about it. It has taken care of my donations to plant a tree so well. They are now offering a new service to pick specific charities, and I am switching over to this. They even take care of taxes! Great customer service too.

We have been using GoodAPI for a while now as it fully aligns with our environmental and social responsibility values as a coffee company. Good API has allowed us to plant trees as well as remove plastic bottles from the environment making sure we do our small part in making a change. The team has been super helpful in getting everything adjusted to our needs and provide a full transparency to our customers what we are doing as well as allowing them to participate in our mission. The widget is easy to install and implement and feedback we are getting from our customers is great. And we have not seen any impact on loading speeds on our site so that is an extra bonus.

Wow! Just wow! Every once in a while you come across a person or company that genuinely enjoys what they do and want to help you. That's this app and Saif. He went above and beyond to get the app up and running and looking good on my site. The app is pretty easy to install yes, but the simple offer of installing the badges and working with me on the perfect placement of the counter was much appreciated. The app is simple, serves the purpose of my new store being sustainable conscious, and is aesthetically nice as well. There are a lot of apps out there and I tried 2 before this one but had to uninstall due to complexity and lack of customer support. But I highly recommend GoodAPI! Just a pleasure to work with.

GoodAPI has been an amazing app for us! Having the opportunity to help the environment while just doing business as usual on our end is such a win. The app couldn't have been easier to set up, it took about 2 minutes. And almost immediately I received a message from their support offering to set up all of the badges on my site for free. I took them up on that offer and the response was immediate. They worked with me to get everything just as I wanted it with several adjustments, AND made me a dedicated impact page for my site that I didn't even know that I needed, but that looks great and will definitely help with communicating to our customers the impact that they're making when shopping with us! We have been using TheGoodAPI and Sprout for about a year now, we are incredibly impressed. The plug in is much more user friendly on shopify than other platforms and extremely user friendly. The app imbedded straight into the side bar is a game changer for us, and the ability to customize our block is life changing. They really give you the relevant information to convey how your money is getting disbursed and allocated. The videos, blogs, articles, and other materials are great not only for our customers to view their benefits, but for our team to view the benefits offered as well. We highly suggest this plug in alongside other various donation programs. Mirvise and Saif are incredibly helpful, they have exceptional customer service, response time, informational materials, and general assistance within the shopify plug in world.

App was easy and straightforward to use. Customer service was very helpful and fast to reply. Pricing per tree is slightly better than similar apps and services. We ended up settling for another tree planting service for the moment (for reasons entirely unrelated to Goodapi Sprout), but if we were to remove ocean plastics in the future, I'd 100% go with Sprout.

We are very pleased with this app, one of the only available to help our sustainable fashion store be a carbon neutral business. One tree planted per item sold as donations go to Eden Reforestation Projects. Trees help offset and absorb the harmful carbon emissions that drive climate change. Saif is always wonderful to work with and we look forward to continuing our partnership. We are interested in exploring the new plastic bottle removal partnership as well--a critical effort the world needs.
