Video Sales Pop has been a great app for improving engagement and adding more social proof to our Shopify store. The video pop-up notifications help make the storefront feel more dynamic and interactive, and it’s been useful for showcasing customer activity and promotions in a more attention-grabbing way.
Do not waste your energy. This app appears to be completely non-functional. After spending over an hour troubleshooting, inspecting console logs, and confirming all theme integrations were correct, it turns out the Proof Bear CDN (cdn.sales-pop.com) and script sources no longer exist — the S3 bucket itself returns a “NoSuchBucket” error. There’s no communication from the developer that the app is deprecated, and no fallback or update to point users to an alternative. It’s disappointing to waste valuable time trying to debug something that’s fundamentally broken on the developer’s side. If this app has been retired, please remove it from the Shopify App Store or clearly mark it as discontinued. Leaving it active without working infrastructure misleads users and causes unnecessary frustration.
Worked great for about 6 months then stopped displaying on desktop, it shows one item then never shows anymore sales. But most of traffic is mobile and seems to be working fine on mobile.
It worked at first, then afterwards it did not and when I checked the browser console it shows error: Failed to load resource: https://****.com/cdn/shopifycloud/consent-tracking-api/v0.1/consent-tracking-api.js net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT Hi there! The issue you mentioned (Failed to load resource: https://****.com/cdn/shopifycloud/consent-tracking-api/v0.1/consent-tracking-api.js net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT") has no connection to our app. Please do the following to enable our app in your store: Open your Themes tab > click customize > app embeds > enable the sales pop app. I sent a collaboration request from our end, in case you need any help to enable it in your theme. Let us know if you need any help.

I love the way this looks & how simple it is to use, but it's not compatible with draft orders which was not promoted. I changed the text to "Someone from {{city}} ordered" & "Someone from {{country}} ordered" & the formatting worked great for everything... but drafts. With drafts it continued to show publicly "{{customer.first_name}} purchased I talked to support and their recommendations were to: 1 - Delete the orders from Admin 2 - They would tell their team but no timeframe 3 - Use a different app. Support was friendly, but for anyone who uses draft orders & doesn't want customer's names showing I would avoid. Thank you for informing us about the drafts orders, unfortunately we have no ability to show it differently, it will show the real information from your store admin - Shopify blocking all fake information. The only way to not show it at the moment as we mentioned would be to delete the orders from the admin store side. Please let us know if you need any help from our team - we are at your service
Great popup, works exactly as it says and is easy to use with loads of customization options. I've made lots of extra sales with Proof Bear !

Awesome, right out of the gate, set some colors and write city instead of country and good to go. Works amazing and also shows added to cart on the pop-up which was surprising and got an email showing how many people clicked. What could be better? Thank you for the 5-star review! Recently updated my store and wanted some social proof. This is great and allows you to change colours and style, positions to match your site. Super easy and super fast. Definitley recommend!

Great app and super easy to set up. I love that I can apply my branding to it as well. The only thing I would like is to be able to set a specific day that it pulls from for the popups. It's currently for 2 months back but I have test orders I cannot delete so it shows up in the popup as "Test bought xxxx" - which means I have to turn off the "purchased xxx" feature until it's past 2 months so they don't show.

I give 5 Stars for one particular reason: sooo easy to install and it works instantly. Thanks Conversion Bear. Will it help sell more and increase conversion rate ? We'll see with time. Then I may add 5 more stars...
Updated review: The support team has fixed the buy now. Thanks a lot guys. Everything works perfectly. Now it really deserves 5 star :) Previous review: In overall the app works well, however, there is a very critical bug and error. The app shows empty products like from unpublished / removed products (like that maybe screenshot link may not be shown here: https://cln.sh/L2vdl5 ). I guess it gets the unpublished products from old orders. I told the developer 2 days ago, they said it is on the to do list, but this is essential bug to fix as soon as possible, that's why I gave 3 star.

Glad I found this app so far so good. Funds are tight so this works perfect for us. This is my fourth download, the others had issues with syncing my purchases and looped one purchase over and over again. It looks good on my store although the slides move fast I hope I can later slow them down a bit. Thanks Mr Bear!

Started using this new app by Conversion Bear and it's nothing less than AMAZING!!!!! I LOVE THE PRODUCT VIDEOS. It's something that you just don't see often and will most certainly grab customers eyes.
