Onboarding was great and well organized. We are up and running and everything seems to be working great.
Really like the way the metrics are presented, and Kendall regular adds new reports.
Sendlane has been great to work with. We switched over from Klaviyo and not only is Sendlane half the price the customer service is also 10 times better. They are still a relatively new e-mail marketing service so there are some hiccups here and there but the team is fast to fix them. They take your feedback seriously and work with you to fix issues. I would highly recommend you give them a try. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We're really excited to hear that the switch from Klaviyo to Sendlane has been a positive one for you, especially with pricing and customer service. It’s awesome to know that our team’s quick responses and hands-on approach have made a real difference—that’s exactly what we aim for. Your feedback is so valuable to us, and we’re grateful for the chance to continue improving. If you ever need anything or run into any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here for you!
It works better than our previous recommended products engine. Previously we recommended products based on past customer purchase history. We tested Beam by Crossing Minds and after reviewing order data I can see that the Beam recommendations have led to sales that our previous system would not have generated. We have a large catalog and average order size is very important to our business so having a great recommendations system is important.
Lots of great data points for making a decision whether to accept or deny, and if you aren't sure submit it for insurance for a reasonable percentage of the order. I have used Cybersource's Decision Manager and Kount in the past before our site was on Shopify. Both were a pain to integrate and had user interface's that look straight out of the early 2000s when they were created. Signifyd has a nice user interface and integration with shopify is as simple as pushing a button.
Even if you don't plan to use them much, having the ability to send a suspicious order to them and then pay a reasonable fee for fraud insurance is huge. We have our own integrated third party fraud review tool that we use to identify high risk orders, and then we give those orders to riskified when we can't easily validate them as legitimate. The integration with shopify makes it one click to submit the order, and they get back with answers super quick most of the time. Love it.
This app is a must have because it gives you so much power. Put your abandoned cart emails on steroids and get reporting. Use a welcome series. Have it create one time use discount codes for you. Tightly integrated with Shopify. Highly recommended.
The app does exactly what it says. If you go out of stock on inventory that you eventually restock you need this app or one like it. The only thing I wish it did was give reporting on opens, bounces, and possibly do an automated resend of non-opened emails.
The product is great, and the team is great. We use Zapier to post products to twitter, Tumblr (via a Zap from Shopify to Gmail), Buffer (to post to Google Plus), and even to allow Mandrill to get a fresh, individual discount code for new Mail Chimp subscribers. And I've run into a couple of situations where I didn't know how to do something and when I described what I was trying to do the support team essentially figured it out for me. I highly recommend Zapier to anyone on Shopify.
This app works wonders! We can customize the different notifications to our brand using their premium service. It automatically knows when we have new orders and imports them every 3 or so hours. After that, emails are sent out to our customers about their order and the status of it. We also like how it has 1 place to track packages through multiple carriers, which makes it easy for international and UPS Mail Innovations packages. There is no need to go to multiple websites to track a shipment. There could be improvement on the time for the order importer, maybe 1 hour instead of 3 hours. It would also be nice to have the tracking button/widget follow the responsiveness of our website. The url that Aftership supplies us could have room for us to style it according to our brand colors/theme. Other than those few minor things, this app is great.
