such a weird and confusing app, started boosting products but there is no save or advance button. I don't have time to read the documentation, just poorly designed/explained.
The reporting is slow and unreliable. If you schedule for 12, it might arrive at any time between 12 and 1 am or even later so not suitable for time-sensitive reports. Customer support is not in real time, they just have a standard message saying they'll work on it and then disappear for days - really frustrating if your business relies on reporting. UPDATE: They migrated us to their new platform which is a little better, the delay is now not more than 30 mins.
Shiny modern app but it does not sync well with Shopify and it is deceptive. They don't mention that "international" SMS is 10 times (yes TEN times) the cost of US SMS. It's not mentioned on their app listing nor on their pricing page, only hidden away in the documentation. By international it literally means any other country so if your store is strictly restircted to US you're better off with one of the other SMS apps.
We own 3 stores and we installed this app on all of them. We have since upgraded all 3 stores to a paid plan. Here's what we liked: > You can use your own FCM credentials. Should be standard but not all push apps allow this. > Support is very fast > The UX is excellent. It's a clean and intuitive layout. This is not important for everyone but I always feel it's a sign that they care about their own app. UPDATE: We've removed it from 2 stores due to poor ROI. We did a deep dive and most conversions it claims attribution for come from other channels not push.
We did a call with them to make sure they wouldn't delete any other tracking or data when installing this. The first thing they did? Delete our datastream and permanently destroy the historical data. Then they tried to lie about it which is even worse. Still no apology.

Hi, We wanted to apologize for your experience. We try to provide support as quickly and efficiently as possible so customers can get their data into Google Analytics 4 immediately. There was clearly a miscommunication in this case and we should have been clearer about the steps we needed to take while on our call. As we mentioned via email, deleting the data stream does not delete historical data. The Google documentation is clear about this and we demonstrated it on our own data as well. However, deleting the data stream does unlink it from Google Ads and Search console. That, in turn, triggers a warning email from Google, which can be confusing. Relinking is a simple process, which we’d be happy to help with. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make it right.
It's ok but it isn't communicated anywhere except the cart. There should be snippets for homepage and product page as well as a landingpage to visually demonstrate the total impact.

Thanks for installing Planet! You can add the icon to any page on your online store and can find some details on how to do that in the Planet Help docs (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shipping/carbon-neutral-shipping/planet-app#adding-the-planet-badge-to-your-online-store). If that link is unclear or you need additional assistance, please reach out to Shopify Support! Thanks for your feedback! - Brady, Sustainability @ Shopify
This is a new company that is extremely disorganised. They have a hidden charge of 3% on euro to euro transfers so it's not flat fee at all. They also send upwards of 5 invoices per month (4 tax and 1 service) causing absolute havoc in cross-checks and bureaucracy. Only the app is automated which is a separate fee. We thought it was teething problems and worked through bugs with them but 6 months in and it's still a total mess. Thanks for your review, We are working very hard in a changing environment to be compliant with Tax authorities. Invoicing will improve in the New Year. Invoices will be inside the portal which should help your frustration. This will help the overall user experience.
We were considering omnisend to handle our emails but after downloading we discovered undemocratic and unethical business practices clear which we find unacceptable. Firstly, they charge by user but do not allow you to upload a supression list which all other email providers allow. It's pretty standard in the industry. Secondly, if you manually unsubscribe a set of users you don't wish to market to via omnisend, they will aggressively block you from marketing them via any other app by switching the accept marketing status to OFF on shopify. Imagine you have low open rates among a particular set of customers but they respond well to another channel, omnisend will not allow you to remove them unless you remove them fromm all other comms channels... except their own sms and push channels!! I assume this is because they want total control on push and sms and are unwilling to sit along side other apps. But it's not ethical to force it on merchants. Just to be super clear, on their site it says: "In Omnisend, the same contact may have different subscription statuses for each of the channels, Subscribed to Emails, and Unsubscribed from SMS or Push Notifications. For that reason, we don't keep a Suppression list" But over email they will tell you "Contact unsubscribing from marketing = they're unsubscribing from Omnisend = they're unsubscribing from Shopify marketing as well." I have now deleted the app.

Thank you for your feedback. Two-way Shopify sync was implemented more than a year back when we had to comply with Shopify's requirements. Suppression list feature was not considered then, since our customers never requested it. Nevertheless, your scenario proves that the suppression list is a huge feature request that we definitely should consider having. We have already passed your feedback to the product teams. Jurate has already reached out to you to talk more about this, thanks!
We use it on 1 store (US traffic) but not on our main one. Their pricing isn't based on revenue but on total orders. Unfortunately they even "charge" for unpaid orders which are a large % of orders in markets like Brazil which have an offline boleto system. I pointed out this model doesn't make sense in markets such as Brazil but the question was ignored. Second time I asked they basically said tough luck. Short sighted. EDIT: They reached out and we have agreed a workaround for boletos and installed on the 2nd store.

Hi there, Thanks for the feedback! As mentioned in our emails, we can definitely work out a pricing model that will work for your specific store :) We do our best to keep our pricing fair. Please get back to us and we'll make sure you have an awesome customer experience. And thank you for giving us a chance, Eric | ReConvert CEO
For such a hyped app, we're very underwhelmed by the experience. 1. Damn expensive for stores with large lists - I'm old enough to remember when telcos used to rip off customers with inflated SMS charges because people didn't realise they cost almost nothing to send. Seems similar here, email is cheap, dirt cheap, yes, charge a premium if you have proprietary segmentation, great software etc but klaviyo went too far imo. 2. Poor customer service and uninituitive install process Despite price reservations we succumbed to the hype and adopted a cautious approach. As a test we installed on our secondary store which is quite small. We already do abandoned cart sequences etc so we decided to test their browse abandonment flow which would be incremental revenue. Weeks and pass and no flows are triggered. Apparently the automated shopify install PLUS manual web tracking install is not enough. There is some kind of 3rd step which depends on our theme. In their words "This is something I would suggest hiring development resources to achieve". WOW - go pay someone else to install one of our core features. 3. Security Risk Just to recap, this app has been sat on our scondary store and hasn't fired a single email due to above feature not being part of the install and customer service being disinterested in onboarding a new client and us having other things to do. No big deal, we can find another app to test browse abandonment. Then we get an email saying, again, I quote "We experienced a security incident on our opt-out forms that resulted in the unauthorized disclosure of non-sensitive information" Now, remember this app is inactive and yet they tell us "A total of XX email addresses stored in your Klaviyo account were accessed through our opt-out related forms by unauthorized persons" WOW - we don't use klaviyo forms, literally no emails have been fired because the only flow setup is an inactive one. So, if it wasn't forms, how did they really leak the data and why do they consider emails to be non-sensitive data?!! Seems pretty sensitive to me. Not much else to say, I'm sure it provides value to others, soem people seem to be happy with it but for us, can't think of a reason to give more than 1 star
Photos don't upload. You waste time uploading and then it tells you you have no photos. Upload again, same again. Tried png and jpg on chrome browser, nothing works. There is no live support either so we will uninstall.
