Very disappointing experience. After installing this app, it overwrote the SEO titles and meta descriptions across our Shopify store without us realising the extent of the changes. These were carefully optimised pages that had been established for years. Following these changes, we experienced a significant decline in our organic search traffic. Restoring the original SEO information across a large website is now a major and time-consuming task. We also noticed other very concerning and unusual activity during the period in which the app was installed. GA4 began reporting visits to strange pages/URLs that do not exist on our website. During the same period, we also received a suspicious call from someone claiming to be from our bank and asking for personal information and access to our bank account. We cannot establish whether this call was connected to the app, so we are not suggesting that it was, but the timing added considerably to our concerns. Importantly, it has now been more than 24 hours since we uninstalled the app, and the non-existent/fake pages that had been appearing in GA4 have stopped showing up. We are continuing to monitor our analytics closely. An SEO optimisation app should not make widespread changes to existing metadata without making the consequences extremely clear and providing a straightforward way to restore the previous values. I strongly recommend that merchants with an established website and existing Google rankings are extremely careful before allowing this app to make bulk or automatic SEO changes. Based on our experience, I would also recommend closely monitoring GA4 and other website activity both during and after installation. One further point concerns us. The app is offered free of charge, and it is not clear to us what the company's business model is or how the service is funded. After posting this review, we received numerous emails from managers and support staff regarding our experience. Given the level of support and follow-up being provided for a free app, we would appreciate greater transparency about how the company generates its revenue and funds the service.

Thank you for your feedback. We take reports like this seriously, so we would like to address the main point clearly for you and for anyone else reading this review. SEOLab does not offer bulk editing of meta titles or meta descriptions. There is no bulk edit function, no mass update tool and no automated process in the app that can apply changes across multiple pages. Meta titles and meta descriptions are edited one by one, page by page, by the merchant. Before any change is saved, the app displays a preview showing exactly how the new title and description will appear, and the update is applied only when you choose to save that individual page. For this reason it is not technically possible for the app to overwrite established metadata across a store without those changes being made and confirmed individually. We have also reviewed our live chat history and our support inbox and we were unable to locate any conversation from your store, so we did not have an opportunity to look into this with you before the review was published. We have emailed you directly and we would welcome the chance to review your store, identify what occurred and assist with restoring any values if the app played any part in it. Our support team is available every day and we are happy to help.
Unfortunately, I couldn't even complete the initial setup. The app repeatedly failed when trying to connect to our Google account, preventing us from proceeding any further with the installation. We tried multiple times, but the Google account connection would not complete successfully, making the app unusable from the outset. Without a reliable connection process, it is impossible to evaluate the app's features or functionality. A much more robust and reliable onboarding process is needed. Our experience was frustrating and disappointing.

Hi, We're truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration caused during the setup process. A smooth onboarding experience is something we take very seriously, so it's disappointing to know you couldn't even complete the initial connection to your Google account. Thank you for taking the time to share these details, they're incredibly valuable to us. Our Product Manager has already reached out to you via email to provide dedicated assistance. Whenever you have a chance, please check your inbox. We'd be truly grateful for the opportunity to work with you directly, investigate the connection issue, and help you experience the app the way it was intended. We genuinely hope you'll give us the chance to make things right.
Connecting Littledata – The Data Layer was straightforward, and the initial setup was quick with no obvious issues. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We expected a complete e-commerce integration with Google Ads, but only three conversion events were available: Purchase, New Customer Purchase, and Existing Customer Purchase. Essential e-commerce events such as add_to_cart, begin_checkout, view_item, add_payment_info, and other key events were not available for Google Ads, making it impossible to build a complete conversion funnel. Even more concerning, after connecting the app, our GA4 traffic suddenly disappeared, despite the website continuing to receive visitors. This left us spending a considerable amount of time trying to diagnose whether the app was interfering with our analytics setup. While the app is easy to install, our experience was disappointing. We expected a comprehensive data layer solution that would support the full range of Google Ads and GA4 e-commerce events, not just purchase tracking. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.
Developer reply ·
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I'm sorry the app didn't match your expectations. Our direct Google Ads integration is designed to send purchase conversions, but other events in the funnel can be imported via Google Analytics. Our support team shared this behaviour with you during the exchange, and the approach is well documented in our Help Center. Regarding the Google Analytics traffic drop, unfortunately this was never reported to our support team. We would have gladly helped sort this out - our team is genuinely happy to assist. We'd love the chance to help you get the full setup working. The trial gives you plenty of room to test it properly, and our team is always here to help. You can reach us anytime at help@littledata.io. Best, Claudia
☆☆☆☆ We had been using Consentmo GDPR Compliance for more than a year without any major issues. However, after updating our Shopify theme, the app completely disrupted our Google tracking setup. Since then, our Google Tag Manager, Google Consent Mode, Google Ads conversion tracking, and analytics have all been in disarray. We have spent days trying to identify the problem, following the documentation, reinstalling integrations, and checking every possible setting, but our tracking is still not working correctly. What is particularly frustrating is that a theme update should not leave customers in a situation where they have to spend countless hours trying to restore a working tracking setup. The support documentation has not helped us resolve the issue, and the troubleshooting process has been extremely time-consuming. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. An app that is responsible for GDPR compliance and consent management should make tracking more reliable, not leave customers wondering whether any of their analytics or advertising data can still be trusted.

Hi Rene, Elena here again. I’m truly sorry to see that your overall experience with the app was as described in your review. After more than a year of smooth use, I completely understand how frustrating it must be to suddenly run into tracking issues, especially with something as critical as your analytics and advertising data! I’d like to add some context on what likely happened. When a new theme is published, Shopify usually deactivates app embeds and doesn’t carry app settings over - this affects all apps, not just Consentmo. Shopify’s Help Center states it directly: “if you... later change your published theme, then you’ll need to re-activate those apps in your new theme as they won’t be active by default.” (reference: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/customizing-themes/apps ) On top of that, themes differ technically (older Liquid-based vs. newer JSON/Online Store 2.0 themes), so a tracking setup that worked perfectly on one theme often needs to be re-enabled and re-tested on the new one. That said, unfortunately Shopify doesn't allow us to reapply the existing settings and the merchant has to follow this (ref the guide above). Still I understand we could have responded faster and more attentively, and this is something I've addressed with the support team member as well. As we discussed yesterday, I believe that we’ve already fixed this for you. For any future instances, our team would be glad to go through your GTM and Consent Mode setup with you end to end and get everything verified. Thank you for being our customer and we are looking forward to working with you for many more years!
Initially this app appeared to function well. After 24 hours, however, our consent management provider (Consentmo GDPR) flagged that certain tags were firing before visitors had given consent. On review, I confirmed that the app sets all consent signals in the DataLayer to ‘granted’ by default. Correct implementation should leave these ungranted until the visitor accepts, at which point a consent update event is triggered. This misconfiguration resulted in reduced traffic data and broken Google Ads tracking. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app.
ChatGPT said: Here’s a much clearer and more professional rewrite of your text (keeping the technical accuracy but improving flow and readability): **“At first glance, this app seemed to be working correctly. However, after about 24 hours I started receiving emails from our consent mode provider, Consentmo GDPR, warning that some tags were firing before visitors had given consent. Upon closer inspection, I found that in the DataLayer this app sets all consent signals as ‘granted’ by default under Consent Default. Normally, those signals should not be granted until the visitor provides consent — at which point a consent update event is fired with the appropriate signals. Because of this incorrect behavior, our site experienced reduced traffic and Google Ads tracking stopped working properly. I cannot recommend this app; stay away.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. This seems to be related to a setup conflict rather than the app itself. To clarify, Analyzely works based on the Shopify Customer Privacy API. When a cookie banner is enabled, the app sets all consent signals to “denied” by default (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/--kTryKkmraa) and only switches them to “granted” once a visitor accepts the banner. We’d be happy to review your setup and ensure everything runs smoothly. We have already contacted you via email and are awaiting your reply so we can assist you step by step.
We’ve been using the Simple Invoice – Order Printer app for quite some time, and it generally worked well. We had previously made some adjustments to the Eporch template, which required a few tweaks, but overall it functioned as expected. However, after making a recent amendment to the template, the entire invoice layout broke. As a result, we were forced to switch to a new template just to keep our operations running. I contacted customer support and received a response after three days, stating: "We'll make the necessary changes and get back to you as soon as possible." Unfortunately, it has now been another three days, and I haven’t heard anything back. This raises serious concerns about their customer service. If the app works for your needs straight out of the box, it may be a good solution. But if you run into any issues or require support, don’t expect timely or reliable assistance. Based on our experience, it’s probably better to look elsewhere if you value dependable customer service. Shortly after posting my original review, the support team responded promptly and resolved the issue efficiently. It seems writing a review is the fastest way to get their attention. If you’re struggling to hear back from customer service, consider leaving feedback—it might speed things up.
This is a great app, although we experienced a few teething problems at the beginning. We run a multilingual site with 10 languages, and so far we've configured three of them. It’s a slow and time-consuming process, but it has worked so far. As the saying goes, the proof of the pudding is in the eating — so the next few weeks will show whether installing the app was truly worthwhile.
This app is quite confusing. At first glance, it appears to be free, but most of the features are only accessible if you sign up for a loyalty program — which is apparently free as well. We decided not to enrol in the program and just give the app a try, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us.
Developer reply ·
Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear the experience was confusing. We understand that the pricing structure and loyalty program may not have been clearly explained, and we appreciate you pointing this out. Our team is working on improving the onboarding experience and making feature access more transparent for users. We’re sorry the app didn’t work out for your store, but we truly appreciate you giving Gelacy a try. Thank you again for your honest feedback. Sarah
At first glance, this seems like a great app — everything appears to work smoothly. However, after installation, we noticed a sudden drop in traffic and realised the app significantly slows down the site. Initially, we assumed it was related to our plan and decided to upgrade, but unfortunately, that made no difference. It’s a well-designed app that offers all the features you might need, but the performance impact is a major drawback. For us, it wasn’t a net gain.

We're really sorry to hear about the site speed and traffic issues you experienced. We designed our app to be feature-rich while minimizing performance impact, so this feedback is very important. We'd appreciate the chance to investigate. Please reach out to our support team directly so we can look into why this happened with your specific setup.
This app worked well on our English pages, but unfortunately, it did not function properly across our multilingual site, which includes nine additional languages. While we were able to configure a few of the languages, testing revealed that the menu would automatically redirect to the English version of the pages. If your site is simple and only available in one language, this app might meet your needs. However, for our more complex setup, it was not a suitable solution.
We integrated GA4 using the Wixpa GTM app and initially, everything seemed to be working correctly. However, after a few days, we discovered that critical e-commerce events — such as purchases, add_to_cart, and begin_checkout — were either missing or being recorded inaccurately. This significantly disrupted both our GA4 data and Google Ads conversion tracking. As a result, within just one week, we experienced a noticeable and substantial decline in sales. Additionally, we found that other key events like remove_from_cart, add_payment_info, add_shipping_info, and view_cart were not firing at all. These are essential for accurate conversion tracking and campaign optimization. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this app caused serious damage to our data and sales performance. We cannot recommend it.

As discussed over email, your store has a lot of custom work, which makes it difficult for our app to track third-party code within your theme. Your Shopify theme needs to follow Shopify's standard coding guidelines for us to guarantee accurate event tracking through our app.
The integration only worked through GA4 setup. Despite the excellent and responsive support from Customer Service, we were unable to get conversion goals functioning directly within Google Ads. In the end, the only reliable solution was to import the goals from GA4 into Google Ads — this was the only setup that worked as intended. Despite this limitation, I ultimately returned to using this app after testing several alternatives that failed to meet our needs, including: Stape Server GTM Levar Conversion Tracking ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM GroPulse GTM & Data Layer In fact, we tried most of the available apps. Many were removed shortly after installation either because they couldn’t be configured properly or simply didn’t work for our setup. This app, while not perfect, was the only one that gave us a working integration — and for that reason, we decided to continue using it.

Dear our customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration experienced during the setup process. I understand how important it is to track conversions accurately and promptly. To clarify, the delay in Google Ads conversion data was likely due to two factors: 1. Timeframe: Google Ads typically requires 12–24 hours to process and display conversion data after the first recorded event. Your tracking was enabled on May 26 (17:34 UTC), and by May 28, the system may not yet have captured conversions—especially if no users converted from ads during that short window. 2. Channel Removal: On the evening of May 28, the Google Ads channel was disconnected, which halted all tracking. Our team had shared a detailed report confirming no ad-driven conversions occurred between May 26–27, and we advised allowing more time for data to populate. While the GA4 workaround resolved the issue, I hope you can connect Google Ads again and give it some time to capture the data. If you encounter any issues, our support team is always happy to help. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. Best regards, Kaylee from Tagfly Team
Stape Server GTM is difficult to configure without technical expertise, and after multiple attempts, I was still unable to get it working. Although the app is free, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
This app only supports basic event tracking for Google Ads, and the integration with Google Analytics 4 is very limited—only rudimentary events are available, so full GA4 functionality is not supported. Setting up the Google Ads integration is overly complicated for non-technical users, and despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get it working. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app.

Sorry to hear that. However, after our developer's review, we found that your theme does not follow Shopify's coding guidelines. As a result, Infinite Pixel Tracking cannot function properly on themes that aren't built according to Shopify's standard structure.
