We've used Littledata since June to send our Shopify orders server-side to Meta and GA4, and it just works. Our purchase events reach Meta reliably and match our Shopify orders, which has made our ad reporting much more trustworthy. Support is super fast. When I had a question, they checked our actual logs and came back with a clear, thorough answer right away. Highly recommended.

Getting started with LittleData has been a breeze. Great support, great guides, and the app's usability is excellent.

Connecting Littledata – The Data Layer was straightforward, and the initial setup was quick with no obvious issues. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We expected a complete e-commerce integration with Google Ads, but only three conversion events were available: Purchase, New Customer Purchase, and Existing Customer Purchase. Essential e-commerce events such as add_to_cart, begin_checkout, view_item, add_payment_info, and other key events were not available for Google Ads, making it impossible to build a complete conversion funnel. Even more concerning, after connecting the app, our GA4 traffic suddenly disappeared, despite the website continuing to receive visitors. This left us spending a considerable amount of time trying to diagnose whether the app was interfering with our analytics setup. While the app is easy to install, our experience was disappointing. We expected a comprehensive data layer solution that would support the full range of Google Ads and GA4 e-commerce events, not just purchase tracking. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.

The app is amazing! Their price - value ratio is incredible good, installation is so easy which is what got my attention to begin with. Also I can confirm my EMQ has increased considerably since installing the app, they also have their own bot filtering feature in-app, AND their customer support could not be any better they respond super fast the same day via live-chat, something very rare nowadays, I can recommend 10/10 lets go!

Littledata – The Data Layer is one of those apps you install and immediately wonder how you ever debugged Shopify tracking without it. Setup is straightforward, and once it’s running you get a clear, reliable data layer that makes analytics tooling behave the way it should. It’s especially strong for getting consistent ecommerce events through to GA4 and other platforms without the usual Shopify “mystery gaps,” duplicated events, or attribution weirdness. Having a single source of truth for customer and purchase activity (that you can actually trust) saves a ton of time compared to patching together pixels, scripts, and half-working workarounds. What I like most is the stability: the events are well-structured, implementation feels thoughtful, and it reduces ongoing maintenance rather than adding another moving part. Support has also been very responsive and practical. If you care about accurate conversion tracking, clean event data, and less time spent chasing discrepancies between Shopify and your analytics tools, this is an easy recommendation.

I'm using Facebook, Google, Tiktok and Klaviyo ads/systems and tracking works very well, it's reporting >99% same as Shipify so all is very well. Also Facebook and Google get all info about purchases and revenue correct (I'm new to tiktok and klaviyo so I do not check those yet very much).

I'll describe the situation, and you decide whether it's worth it. I tested on a single Google Ads channel with almost 100% of orders qualified for that channel. The result: a little over 50% of conversions were not counted. This is a disaster. It already affected campaign optimization and the campaign results (Performance Max), and I also paid almost $23 for this super tracking. I strongly discourage it; it’s better to install native Shopify because it counts better. PS. This isn’t the only store; with another one it was around 30%. The support, though friendly, assures me that everything is OK.

We have been using Littledata for about a year and a half with our Shopify webstore. The accuracy of the data has really assisted us to run effective Google PMAX campaign. We have been impressed by the great support and customer service from the Littledata team whenever we have had questions or issues.

Not only does it track more conversions but it easily connects...the even better side? IF there is any tech issue going on their customer support is absolutely amazing. You can never go wrong when an app does what is says and tacks on great customer service to boot!

We've been running with Littledata for about a year now. First on the pro plan, now enterprise. It has helped us with the reporting accuracy in GA but when you get to enterprise it gets really interesting with custom reports! Update in 2025: 6 years later and we're still running on LittleData and we're still very satisfied with their services!

Using LittleData puts my mind at ease that everything that can be tracked - is tracked. It feels much more secure than Shopify’s less than friendly suggestions to control how data flows via partner apps (like Google or Meta). At Naturalmat we have quite complex needs and often push our app partners on configurations that would work for our business - LD have supported each and every "out there" request and the support team is amazing. I often speak to Claudiu and Cornelia and they both have been brilliant. Trying to get hold of anyone at Google or Meta, well, we've all been there - forget it. There are a few apps I can't imagine having a Shopify store without, and LD is definitely one of them.

David & Ross are extremely helpful and are always quick to answer questions if something comes up. Tracking has been extremely accurate for Google Ads & GA4.

We'd had ongoing issues with our data for a long time, with a number of different experts drafted in to help sort it out, without success. Allocating our marketing budgets was becoming more and more impossible. During our initial call with David he had explained the process of switching to littledata and my response was a very dubious ‘that sounds too easy’. Well, it WAS that easy. And we are really happy with the quality of data we’re now receiving. David was great through the onboarding process. Patiently walked us through everything, was there to help with any queries, and didn’t rush us into anything. Support has excellent technical knowlege as well as a straightforward communication, that non-experts like myself can follow. Highly recommend.

Good product, Great support. Cornelia is always helpful, even when she is very busy. When she has to research a problem, she follows through and gets answers. I have had the same experience with other support personnel as well. Lastly, it is refreshing to talk to a someone offering support that can actually answer technical questions!

We've been using Littledata for just over a month now and it's brought back around 30% of the data we lost with our cookie policy and GA4 updates. We've been super happy with the data so far and we would definitely recommend it as a good plug in solution!

Littledata did entirely fix the missing transactions issue for us. However, whilst doing that, it completely skewed the attribution of our CPC & Organic traffic - something we couldn’t accept as it made our Ads reporting even worse, which was the whole reason we installed. I am understanding of apps not always working perfectly but when I reached out to the support team, they totally gaslit me - pushing back saying it must be a GA4 issue, sending me random Google documentation that wasn’t relevant, generally wasting hours of time. I advised I would be uninstalling, and only then did they escalate the issue. After this, they came back conceding that it was Littledata that caused the attribution issue, that there was nothing they could do and offering me compensation. If you do install, watch your attribution graphs closely, as well as your device/location reporting. It isn’t the one stop data solution it claims to be.

Data is getting ever more complicated for small ecommerce businesses (GA4 intro, consent changes, multiple apps with differing data). SMEs need a solid foundation where they can have confidence they are reading the best data available, giving them time to get on with the day job. Littledata definitely fills this gap. In particular, I'd like to give a shout out to Claudiu in tech support. I keep asking him a tonne of questions - he is patient, quick to reply, and solutions focused. Thank you!

Littledata is second to none. I was in the process of looking at Elevar, but both Cornelia and Natascha jumped on the phone with me and spent considerable time going over my requirements, helping my understand attribution, creating reports for me in GA4 and just supporting me in an excellent way. They have gone beyond my expectations. In regards to the accuracy of my data. I am finding it more accurate than Shopify to be honest and the reports they have made for me have given me very valuable insight into my business.

I can't say enough about the customer service at Little Data. Cornelia is amazing and she knows every aspect of the product. She is also great at explaining the data and setting up custom reports useful for our business. Until we added Little Data, we were unable to see how our Subscription Customers behaved vs Our non subscription customers. Little Data put all the subscription data into G4 so we can see how our subscription is performing via Google Analytics. We can now see the reasons for cancelation in a report in G4, We are able to now see our Subscription Revenue vs our Non Subscription Revenue in G4. There are also some great templates provided by Little data for setting up reports in G4. Once again, we are grateful for all the help Cornelia provides during set up and on going. While we haven't had a chance to dive too deep into the data yet, we are using Little Data to get clean data from Shopify to GA4. That is business critical and since this is a major shortcoming with Shopify and I don't see many other solutions on the market providing this server side data stream functionality, Little Data is a blessing. So far, their support has been tremendous. They are responsive, attentive, and seem to generally care about us as a customer. I would recommend them for any ecommerce business using Shopify that cares about having visibility into clean, actionable data, which should be every ecommerce business using Shopify.

Their customer service basically doesn't understand any technology, I asked them to help me install google purchase events, but they basically couldn't provide any help. I wasted almost a month on this app and got nothing. Sales fell sharply. It is not recommended to use this app, it is a huge trap

Don’t bother! Find something else!! The littledata app isn't tracking the events well. Some days it misses 100% of the events, some days it counts double. The biggest issue is that it is attributing the ads incorrectly. Sales generated by one ad is attributed to a totally different ad. The support is slow and useless. I'm seeking help with events on FB but they're tell me how to fix it in google analytics. Therefore this app should be removed before it starts ruining things better yet don’t install it!!!?

Highly recommended. Resolved our GA4 tracking issues in hours, after we spent 2 months trying to explain and fix the issues with Google. Very impressed to date - with quick onboarding and setup, and customised reports provided at short notice. Overall very helpful and great support service.

New UPDATE: They offered me to keep the plan as agreed when I signed up. Thank you . NEW UPDATE: I signed up a free plan (up to 50 orders/month) and now they are asking me 100$ /month. I waste so much time setting up this app since and now they are tricking me. YOU GUYS ARE NOT OK. I will report this to Shopify since it sounds not fair to me. UPDATE: the app is good but the support wast a lot of my time going on with a super long chat where they just "copy and paste" the same message without really try to help. Bad communication when you get to technical issues. Claudiu is very kind but he just take care of the commercial / first contact . When it comes to actual issues be ready to waste a lot of time for nothing. Not even the basics of a efficient communication to get to a solution. Very disappointed. My time is costly and I don't like to waste it like this. Very good app, it does the job. Also the support team is very helpful to clarify any additional doubt related to extra tracking issue (maybe due to third party plugins).

There are so many great things to say about Littledata! Our store had zero Google Analytics tracking before setting up Littledata. The tutorial they provided was easy to follow, and when we encountered one minor issue the support team was responsive and quickly helped us resolve the issue. Littledata has helped us work on funnel gaps by providing fantastic easy-to-read insight in GA. Thanks to that insight, we were able to make changes and nearly double our checkout conversion! The Free plan is meeting our needs right now, but as we grow Littledata will definitely be an app we keep on board.

For the first time in my 10y career with online marketing, there is 0 discrepancy between our Shopify & Google Analytics (UA) data! The implementation cannot be easier and the Support Team (Cornelia) has been extremely helpful, thorough and fast with the help. Even jumped into a call with a short notice to resolve an issue. Well-deserved 5 stars.

UPDATE: Constant price changes and rises makes this app way harder to recommend. Having a free tier is nice, but the limit is very low. It wouldn't be a problem if the next price tier was reasonable. Now it costs over 120 USD (like ~530 PLN) with only orders limit lifted to the point that most small business will never reach, or reach in years (266 orders per day). There is definitely a price tier gap for smaller ones (like 1000 orders for 20 USD or something). ORIGINAL: Game changer and no-brainer if you take your Shop analytics seriously. It fixed Shopify issue with lost GA transactions instantly. PS: I only would like to see "cheaper" plan as 1500 orders limit in the basic plan is way too much for most of the shops at the beginning.

Best GA app available! Very user friendly setup, which is important. But the accuracy of the data flowing into GA is amazing! They are not kidding when they say 100% of your orders will be synced into GA. We've never had this level of data accuracy in GA until now!
