This app has the potential to be a game changer for streamlining product connections across brands. However, it's become a major liability for our business. When retailers are connected, collective images from all partners are counted against each individual account’s file storage—yet users have no ability to modify or manage these images. Compounding the issue, Shopify provides no tools to track how far over the storage limit an account may be, and even deleting products does not remove the associated images. Without visibility or control, this creates an unsustainable and opaque system for retailers. After extended use, it’s become clear the app has deeper, unresolved issues. One of the most serious occurs when a supplier becomes ineligible to sell on Collective: all related products are automatically removed from your store. Any prior work—image optimization, advertising, or other marketing setup—must then be rebuilt from scratch, leading to unnecessary time loss and added cost. To make matters worse, re-importing those products also counts against your daily variable limits. This concern was raised with the Collective team, but no response or resolution was provided.

Was using another app but had recent failure so decided to test this app. Will use for a couple weeks and update this review for functionality, usefulness and quality. Already found a glitch where review request will not close after clicking done

Excellent app and easy to setup with great communication.

This app used to be fantastic, with solid functionality and excellent support. Unfortunately, our experience has gone downhill. While the app still syncs fairly well with certain marketplaces—Etsy being the most reliable—it has completely failed to keep our inventory updated across the board. The most frustrating part is that instead of working toward a solution, support has shifted the blame back on us, claiming our frequent inventory updates are the cause. That explanation doesn’t hold water, since syncing and updating inventory is supposed to be the core purpose of the app. If the system can’t handle regular updates, it’s essentially useless for any business that manages a dynamic catalog. We’ve also noticed delays, inconsistencies, and errors creeping into the sync process—items showing as in stock when they’re sold out, pricing not reflecting correctly, and listings failing to update across channels. These are critical issues for sellers, and what was once a reliable tool is now creating more problems than it solves. In short: this app had huge potential and was once a go-to solution, but until the syncing and support issues are taken seriously and resolved, it’s hard to recommend it for businesses that rely on accurate, real-time marketplace integration.

Excellent app for creating efficient administrative functionalities

I can't say enough good things about this app! We turned to it after Shopify's image creation restrictions severely hindered our business operations. We faced issues uploading product images, retailer images, updating email visuals, and even modifying theme images. This app has been a lifesaver by reducing all our image sizes. I highly recommend it to all retailers and brands. Shopify offered little assistance and simply suggested upgrading our account for double the cost, which would result in losing our markets. The image policy limits were never communicated when we signed up for basic plans or that retailer images would count against our image quota. Update We used to love this app—especially when we were trying to control image sizes after Shopify quietly stopped importing product images due to hidden limits. But now, we’re constantly bumping up against plan limits, and without manual intervention, the app just stalls for days. We’ve had to upgrade or reset the plan every 2–3 days just to keep things moving. At this point, it’s more hassle than it’s worth. We’re switching to an app with unlimited image support—this one just doesn’t scale.

Setup was relatively straightforward, but everything fell apart afterward—including the Shopify app, which repeatedly failed. We were then hit with hundreds of violations, followed by a termination notice, as Roblox blocked every single product we listed. Until Roblox overhauls its policies, procedures, and approval process, this integration simply isn't viable for most retailers or brands.

Application suddenly throttling emails, not providing marketing reports data and taking days for test emails to come through. Support is every 24 hours and a solution hasnt been found.

We've been in business for over 22 years and probably have about 20 apps in our Shopify store. We advertise on every medium possible. We've never experienced so much difficulty or lack of support as we have with this application and regardless of what information we supply to their "support" team, we get no resolve. They want social security numbers, Tax IDs, all locations, all application information, etc. I just counted over 200 emails to support requesting assistance and support continues to provide circular and repetitive unhelpful responses.

Excellent support and service. App is perfect for blocking nefarious users and countries, including on contact us forms.

I tried my best to like this app especially since they had the most gracious free option and support was excellent but the app simply didn't work. There were constant issues rendering invoices, did not have a print option from Shopify order page, there were multiple clicks for downloading invoices, or just timed out. Support apologized multiple times and said they fixed it but the issues continued for over a month.

78 bad ratings says it all. Saw our store was including a shop pay payment option without our knowledge and then was told we dont qualify to use app. At what point did stores need "to qualify" to monetize and promote a 3rd party app?

Staff (Emily & Hana) were super helpful in trying to format the app to my needs. After an hour of trying, we realized Firefox was displaying application incorrectly. Great application and great people.
