Been using this app for more than 4 years now and every single time their customer service agents and tech team never fail to impress me! (: Rossie is the woman to look for, she is very friendly and patient and never fails to check in with me whenever a customisation is made! Their tech team is also very fast and accomodating to make even a slight change or tweak to suit my perfectionism! HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS APP AS IT ALSO SWITCHES INSTANTLY TO YOUR CUSTOMERS' COUNTRY BY TAPPING ON THEIR IP ADDRESS, WHICH RESULTS IN SALES! $$

I contacted the SmartCS development team and they stepped in, when the SmartCS Currency Convertor broke, due to the store owner/client modifying the theme & vendor code files. Their expertise and professionalism resolved the issue in a timely manner. It is clear this team is committed to customer satisfaction and technical excellence. I appreciate their dedication! This application altered our sitemap URLs, resulting in 7,268 404 pages. Our site's health score plummeted to just 55. We've attempted to reach out to the app's support team on three separate occasions, but unfortunately, our issues remain unresolved, and we have yet to receive any response.

I emailed them to help me with the installation 3 times in the past 4 days, no one ever reply to me. Horrible services.

2023 Update: We needed some tweaking after a theme update and happy to report great support again from Steve at Secomapp. A great app that bridges the gap between currency detection and Shopify's native local currency checkout. We have seen a good increase in international sales after installing this app. Support from Peter and Michelle has been great - always quick to reply and very helpful.

Very simple app and the customer support was incredibly responsive. They installed it for me and tweaked it to fit my theme.

Since our store is in our local currency, the Icelandic Krona, the Currency Switcher app has made it easy for our customers to select any currency. We started to use the Currency Switcher two years ago and it has worked great. We are receiving orders from all over the world. Only once I had to contact support since a Theme upgrade called for a re-installation and minor modifications in layout. Support was quick and helpful since Steve fixed everything in a matter of minutes.

this was working for me fine but all of a sudden in the cart page it is showing incorrect prices, like millions of dollars. i lost sales over this bug :/

No one response my question, nothing change I can't even understand the platform, I have more than 1 issue, nothing showing on my theme live

Customer service who helped me install and set up the app were brilliant. The app does exactly what I want. Very easy process to do and well worth having.

The app description clearly says "customers buy and checkout in their local currency". This is not true. Checkout is in the default currency.

So far, THIS HAS BEEN A DISASTER FOR MY SHOP!! I previously had a simple free currency switcher but opted for this to deal with geo location issues and tidy the appearance of currency switcher on the mobile view of my site. I have had multiple emails with support and currently under EUR option my site is now appearing in GBP. It's causing a lot of problems, costing sales and support have been fairly average in their responses!!!! Very poor

We have tried many different currency converters, but this is number 1. With this you are not stuck with the standard currency format. Here you can easily adjust the currency format... And great support! Update: Twice we have had problems with the app. First time Google suspended our account and we lost alot of revenue. After first denying their mistake Secomapp came back and fixed it. A few weeks ago we got the same problem but then they fixed it fast. Overall this is a good app and great support, but I hope they don't have more issues with the app in the future.

Terrible app. I installed it 5 days ago and sent them an email requesting to have it installed and still no one has taken the time to take care of this. I uninstalled the app and I will be looking for a better app.

Great app and helpful support! There were some issues with formatting and code, but Louis was very good at solving our issue.

I've just added this app and found the support to be amazing! Louis was super prompt with his replies to my enquires and a small issue I had with the menu placement. He finalised the currency instalment and resolved everything straight away.

Works great without any problems at all. We actually contacted Thomas at Secomapp with a feature request and he added it to the app at no extra charge within 7 days. Highly recommended. Update: Reached out to Louis 5 years after installing the app as it wasn't playing nice with an update in our theme. Louis fixed the problem straight away. Great service as always.

It took less than 48 hrs from installing the app to completely satisfy our needs even in terms of style. The help of Louis of the customer service was very timely and effective. Recommended.

Really great app with super helpful support. Works as described and even better! We used it for one language for now but looking into expanding. Some parts need to be manually translated but that will happen with any app.

EDIT: I really hate to give a negative review to a free app with friendly developers but I need to warn other stores that this app is *NOT COMPATIBLE* with the Turbo Theme (likely due to a script conflict). Within 24-48 hours of their install, my site started accumulating over 4500 coverage errors within the Google Search Console resulting, in less than 10 days, in serious damage to my Google rankings. Thankfully Google sent an email notifying me but the damage was already done. By the time I discovered the problem, my rankings dropped 133% from their previous levels and organic traffic from Google dropped by 86%. My site even returned errors when running the mobile friendly test on Google as a result of the changes to my code. As soon as I undid the changes made by Secomapp to my code, my site passed the Google test again which confirms what Shopify tells me about the errors. It will take days, weeks or even MONTHS for Google to validate those 4500+ pages and who knows how long to recover the rankings I've worked so hard for. Truly a disastrous experience. The developers are *very nice* but the language barrier makes it impossible to trouble-shoot the issues or for them to understand the problems pointed out by Shopify technical support. For instance, while the Google error states it was blocked by the Shopify controlled robots.txt file, this is due to a Javascript conflict on my site introduced by this app. But the developers aren't understanding that probably due to translation. So just be VERY CAREFUL if using their code and make sure to check your Google search console for errors after installing. Again, I liked the app but it directly caused serious problems. Initial review on date of install: One day in and received excellent support from Peter on install with back and forth communication. So far so good on the app itself - working as advertised and greatly appreciated. The fact that it works with multi-currency checkout is a bonus.

I used this app to implement a currency exchange switcher. I haven't published my website yet, but it seems to be working well. The implementation time was very fast and the response time to my emails was less than 24hours. I wished they have warned me that the app doesnt work in Safari in case you need to customize the currencies. Other than that, I am completely satisfied
