I cannot recommend this company. After experiencing carrier double-billing errors, I chose not to reach out to them for a resolution simply because their customer support had been so unhelpful in the past. Beyond the poor service, they charged unlawful interest on disputed invoices. When challenged, their 'COO' was highly unprofessional and argumentative in our email exchange, eventually escalating to threatening my business. An incredibly unethical operation.

EAS cannot fund your VATs. Two invoices, including VAT due to EU member states, remain unpaid. We were not notified that the carrier had wrongfully charged VAT. To be clear on what is at stake: IOSS is an official registration with EU tax authorities and is regulated. Non-payment of VAT due does not just affect our invoice. Non-payment it exposes you to penalties from EU member states, and bans you from IOSS. That said, the double VAT charge does not need to be paid twice, it can be reclaimed via IOSS, and we have an automation in place to handle exactly this. On late fees: these apply to any invoice paid late, and they are not unique to EAS. Every company applies them, including every tax administration. As we said, we are open to waiving them, but we would need an explanation for why that is warranted. Which we did not receive. On support: your recent enquiry on duty calculation received a reply with instructions within twenty minutes. For clarity, duty is separate from VAT and is not calculated or remitted via IOSS, it falls outside the scope of EAS work. Regardless we provided instructions. If a direct conversation would help move this forward, meeting slots are available on our website. Please confirm how you would like to proceed on the two open invoices.
We informed EAS in writing in January that we had switched to a UK fulfilment centre and asked what needed to be changed. The only answer was "let's have a call". In February EAS themselves confirmed our store setup needed to be reset - it never happened. Instead, the app kept auto-charging per-order import fees for months, in June even including our own free-of-charge replacement orders. On top, we are in an HMRC verification of a VAT return EAS filed, and our request for the filing working papers has received nothing but auto-replies for a week. Support responsiveness and billing accuracy are not what you need from a tax compliance provider. I will update this review if EAS resolves the billing and provides the documents. We asked to meet promptly to confirm the fulfilment-model change and complete any required store-side adjustments, but did not receive a response for several months. We remain ready to resolve the remaining questions directly and provide the requested documentation. Changes to a merchant’s business or fulfilment model require timely communication so we can maintain accurate compliance. EAS automates the process, so we normally do not need to contact merchants; however, when clarification or changes are needed, we ask for information or a meeting to ensure the service remains correct. EAS does not have active access to a merchant’s store. This is why we need to meet with customers: to discuss the changes required and, where appropriate, obtain access to implement them during or following the discussion. The charges referred to as “import fees” relate to UK VAT treatment of low-value consignments, which is handled similarly for domestic and cross-border supplies. Based on the circumstances at the time, this did not create an immediate compliance issue. The required store changes were limited to removing certain manual operations, which we completed despite the extended lack of response.
0 stars. I cancelled their service within a few hours, yet they still kept sending me invoices for payment. When I raised a complaint, one of their employees responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner. I was also told that if I paid the invoice, I would receive a full refund — which clearly showed there was never any real overdue payment issue in the first place. Since I chose not to pay, I expected the invoice to be written off. Instead, they are now chasing me again for payment. Terrible customer service, poor communication, and a completely unacceptable experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Upon receiving your registration and completed onboarding questionnaire, EAS filed your official EU IOSS registration with the tax authority, a formal, government-level process that remains legally active for two months following cancellation. Alongside this, we configured your Shopify store, provided onboarding support, and processed an IOSS-liable order through your account. The invoice was issued because this work was completed in full before your cancellation request. We accept that the communication during your complaint was not handled to the standard we hold ourselves to, and we are addressing that internally. In good faith, we waived the two-month termination fee and eventually promised waive the existing invoice - which we simply forgot to do. The reminder was automatic and deserves no such outburst nor foul language to our emails. We are sorry the experience did not reflect what the majority of our customers receive. EAS has helped simply something that would otherwise be a lot of hassle. I am suprised by how prompt and helpful responses are from Teemu and team. Even with the introduction of U.S. tariffs, EAS Project have made sure our taxes are set up properly. Shopify should really offer its own IOSS service, but as they dont EAS Project are the only service we would use to make taxes a EU breeze. - Allan
Nice guys, nice system, amazing customer support. Thanks Ross, Aleksandra & everyone else! Only thing is I wish that it was a bit easier and cheaper to pay via paypal - I get many orders via paypal and converting currency many times is expensive. But that's more of a paypal issue I guess.
Working with EAS has been fantastic. They feel like a small team but deliver first class service even to a small player like us. Attentive, responsive and easy to deal with, I don't know how we would have navigated the EU and UK taxes without them.
Positives: System works well and integrates nicely with Shopify. Customer support is good. Negatives: Be aware that EAS charge hefty fees for delayed payment (11% interest + late payment fee). You get 10 days to pay after receiving the monthly invoice. I have had some issues with bank transfers arriving late (e.g., security holds pending documentation) and if this happens it can cost you a lot. You can pay using a payment link but EAS charge an additional 3% if you use that. Also bear in mind if you do happen to have very low sales in any month, the cost of the service per order will be high (e.g., 79 euro monthly fee with 10 EU sales = 7.90 euro per order). Thank you for your feedback, and for being our customer! Just a quick note that you can change your EAS plan every month. You are not locked in. If you have lower monthly sales, the Starter plan at €19.90/month includes 15 transactions and may be a better fit. Changes made before the 25th apply to the next month. We are very ambitious about our service, and your feedback helps us improve. I would also like to explain why we handle certain matters the way we do. You have been with us for a while, and we value that relationship. Based on that trust, we have often paid your EU taxes on time even before receiving your payment to protect you from potentially severe penalties across multiple member states. For context, Finland alone charges €45 per late payment. Our late interest rate (11% p.a.) and flat late fee reflect the real risk and workload we assume on your behalf. Bank transfers in the SEPA area are generally fast. However, if you experience bank-related delays (e.g., security checks or documentation holds), please let us know, we are happy to waive any late fees caused by such issues, as long as we are informed. We recommend using SEPA transfers where possible, as they are typically free or very low-cost. Credit card payments via Revolut incur a 3% fee, which we unfortunately cannot absorb, as tax authorities do not allow those charges to be deducted from the taxes collected. I am very pleased indeed with this app and the fabulous customer service too! My IOSS application became complicated (I think due to me having half registered previously) This meant my application took a little longer than it usually does (mine was an unusual situation, as I understand it usually the process is very quick and smooth) but the customer service and regular updates I recived during this time meant I felt well informed and very reassured that my registration was in very safe hands. Now I am registered for IOSS and the app works perfectly. I had a question about invoicing and this was answered promptly and very thoroughly. I honestly could not be happier with this app and the help I have received from the staff.

Such an easy 5 star review. The exact system we'd been looking for, to make our EU orders easier with customs. We've already seen the difference in customer service, with our orders flying through customs via IOSS and arriving quicker with the tax fees handled upfront. The onboarding was superb too. We had a few quirks to deal with (we sell some books with zero VAT, but they're not always zero rated in the EU) and the team configured everything for us and got us all up and running with the minimum effort from us. Really quick and easy installation of IOSS on my Shopify website; I barely had to do anything! And appointing EAS as the Authorised representative for GPSR was easy and the most affordable option I've found too. I would recommend them!

Huge thanks to Peter from EAS who has been amazing in helping us set up our Shopify store so we can, once again, sell into the EU. Peter set up the tax side of Shopify and carefully guided us through what we needed to do from our end. What I thought was going to be a very complicated process turned out to be very quick hassle free.

I was so impressed by the friendly professionalism of the staff. I was really dreading this whole process, but they were quick to respond and "held my hand" all the way through, setting everything up for me. I recommend them without hesitation.
I set up my Shopify store earlier this year selling physical and digital items from the UK. It has been a steep learning curve opening up my store to other countries, in particular understanding the requirements from the EU with the complexities of adding taxes at checkout, along with collecting and reporting these to each member country. I was very pleased to discover that EAS can do all of this for me and I do not need to be VAT registered. I like the fact that my European customers will see the price including tax straight away, so no hidden surprises at the checkout. EAS sent me a personal IOSS number ready to add to my logistics provider platform and had my store set up ready for EU orders within one working day of registering with their App. They answered all my questions and are a highly professional, efficient and friendly team! I'm very impressed so far with their service!

I need help with prices displaying differences between the collection page and the product page. I have emailed about it, however, I haven't heard back from them for 2 working days. It's great to have apps, but it tends to take a long time to receive a response.
After joining a different IOSS scheme previously which turned out to be both disorganised and expensive we paused all EU sales. After numerous requests to restart EU sales we started a search for a new IOSS partner and found EAS. Their fee structure is on point, fair, and they are very efficient and organised. Could not be more grateful. Their invoicing is easy and their team are gracious and polite. They also do not ask for a review! Decent company run by decent humans!
Amazing service. Extremely fast setup and IOSS registration. One day to have everything up and running and send my EU orders using IOSS. You only need to allow access to your store and the next day everything is set up and the IOSS number registered. You can't ask for more. I was very happy to find this app so that I can sell my digital products to countries in the EU and be compliant with the latest VAT legislation. This was the only solution I could find without paying a huge monthly fee to an intermediary company. I like the fact that, apart from the reasonable monthly fee, you are just charged a percentage per transaction. Although I am just starting out using EAS I am sure that this will save a lot of time, money and headaches! The onboarding process was very simple and efficient, therefore I am really pleased with this app and the service received from the EAS team so far. I would definitely recommend EAS to other businesses wishing to sell to the EU.

EAS makes paying your EU VAT simple and streamlined. Moreover, the staff are quick to respond to any questions or issues regarding the service they provide. Further, they have helped educate us on e-commerce in general and how to grow our small business within the EU and UK. We have been using the service since Oct. 2023 and have found EAS to be true partners in helping us maintain our EU compliance. Stellar, hands-on installation experience. I spoke with a handful of companies and this was the easiest, cheapest up-front cost, reasonable ongoing costs. Great for folks exploring the EU market but not wanting to spend hours figuring out the ins and outs. Protip: use this app before you mess up! I had an item get caught up in customs on my first EU sale. I regret not using EAS sooner.
EU & UK VAT compliance is very complicated so you need professionals to handle this. While searching for compliance options we came across EAS and decided to work with them. This company and their service is truly amazing, can't ask for anything more! They patiently answer questions, are very friendly, respond to emails fast, compute and file your taxes on time and most important of all, take the load off your shoulders so you can focus on your store rather than worry about taxes. Their service deserves more than 5 stars, would highly recommend them!
Making a payment is a hassle, and on top of this, they charge fees. They also never followed back with an application to ship to UK

We offer many payment options, including bank transfer, PayPal, and credit card. However, you haven't made any payments towards the invoices, including both our fees and the taxes you have collected from your EU customers. Tax authorities necessitate full payment of taxes. EAS, as a third-party service provider, cannot absorb your unpaid taxes. We invested significantly in developing the leading cross-border tax solution, and we strive to provide our clients with exceptional service. We don't claim to be a non-profit organization. To sell to the UK, you were guided through the UK VAT registration process. However, it appears that you haven't completed the registration. We kindly request that you settle your outstanding balance promptly to avoid further action. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
First review I'ver ever left for an app because I'm so happy with the service during set up. They set every up for me and checked it and then showed me screenshots on how it works and sent me step by step instructions on how to register my new IOSS with my government and Royal Mail. Made a process that was extrememly complicated very easy.
I had been previously been directing my EU customers to my other marketplaces as it seemed so difficult for a small business like mine to set up IOSS for my own website. I am so pleased that I found EAS which is an affordable and straightforward solution to VAT handling for EU sales. I didn't have to do a thing as Aleksandra from EAS set up everything including registration for taxes and the app to make things work on my Shopify site. I applied late on a Friday afternoon and everything was set up and ready to go on the following Monday. Really impressed by the service and the speedy set up. Thanks so much!!

We've previously had IOSS enabled, but quickly decided to remove it due to the complexity and tedious manual reporting we had to do - and then we discovered EAS! Everything was completed quickly with a very detailed post-implementation report and the user interface is super easy to use too. Peter was great at setting this up, including adjusting the Shopify settings and responding to queries effectively. Highly recommended!
A great solution with saleable costs suitable for small business to provide IOSS to cross border sales. This is the best service there is out there having surveyed a few. Service has been personalised and good onboarding.
I chose EAS because of the amazing reviews and it was definitely the right choice. I had not wanted to go down the route of selling to the EU due to the complicated tax but EAS made this easier than ever. Set up took no time whatsoever, included a step by step report of what had been done or needed to be done by me and Peter has been fantastic at answering any questions I had. Overall a 100% positive experience, thank you!

Reviewing based on the setup so far, but WOW. That was such a smooth process for something that is intimidating and complicated to deal with as a small business owner. If not for this app, I would probably just have to say I couldn't sell into the EU. Test sales have all gone OK – fingers crossed for the real thing.
It almost seems too easy! EU and UK VAT has always seemed difficult as an e-commerce business in Australia, and after reading the positive reviews on EAS I decided to give them a go. The team has been fantastic - they had my store set-up and ready to go with our IOSS in no time, and the customer service and support has been second to none. The entire integration process has been seamless and has streamlined EU & UK VAT in a way that makes it entirely accessible to anyone. I'm yet to have my first VAT return submitted so I haven't followed the entire process through from start to finish, however first impression is that EAS has well and truly earned their positive reviews. I would recommend this to other e-commerce businesses looking for an EU/UK VAT solution.
I can't recommend this company enough. Made such a complex situation so easy to overcome and at such an affordable price. They literally install everything you need to be set up within the day of signing up and the team has been beyond excellent in answering any questions. If you're looking to sell to the EU from UK this is you're solution.
One of the most helpful teams I've seen in my life. I know that sounds like a very exaggerated sentence, but it really is true. They have multiple services that help you if you have any questions, the support team is so helpful and insightful, and the process to download or do anything yourself comes with multiple pages from their with DETAILED step by steps so you don't get confused. But most of the work is done by the team. The actual service they provide has lifted a weight off my shoulders. I use this for shipping from US to EU and have had this app for around 3 months; I can honestly say I don't know what I would've done if this app didn't exist.
As a business owner from the USA, learning about the proper tax laws in other countries can be overwhelming. We want to be and stay compliant with the laws and we wanted to offer our courses to our friends in Europe. The EAS team is very quick in responding (do they even sleep?!), are so professional and thorough. They explain things in detail and are willing to hop on a call whenever it's needed. I can't say enough about how amazing the customer service experience has been. I am so grateful to be working with this team. Excellent, personalised no fuss service! Sign up on the project website, give details of your business and OK the request from Shopify for EAS to configure things for you, and it's done in a day or so. They even spotted a couple of issues with our product listings concerning tax, and emailed for clarifications, then fixed it for us. Having looked into DIY solutions, then other agencies' offerings, this wins hands down. Really brilliant project. Highly recommended.

Cant rate it higher. So much better value compared with other IOSS services. Everything was set up for me - needed some tweeks which they quickly made. Very responsive to emails.

A great app that does what shopify cannot, provide a way to use IOSS (International One Stop Shop) on a shopify store that is based in the EU and sends goods to EU customers from outside the EU. I have nothing but praise for the EAS team. The registration process, onboarding and set up was handled very smoothly, quickly and professionally by them. I would recommend using their App and offer of free set up and installation for your store.
Totally awesome on many levels! Firstly, the best tech support we have ever experienced! Cannot speak highly enough of the team at EAS, they have been invaluable during the integration process and managed it from start to finish for us (THANK YOU!!) They have been happy to answer follow up questions really quickly while we get used to things. Also awesome is the EAS system, it's exactly what we need to manage IOSS sales into Europe. Real-time dashboard pulling EU sales directly from our store we can see instantly our IOSS VAT liability at any time and associated EAS fees - peace of mind and minimum admin, no daily sales uploads, no hassle...we're so pleased to have found this solution. It's taken us 18 months of waiting for exactly this! We recommend taking the option for the EAS team to do the integration for you as there are lots of moving parts. They also provide a really useful document after the integration detailing all the settings changes made to your store so you know exactly what's been done should you ever need to know. I hope EAS becomes the standard for Shopify stores wanting to sell into Europe using IOSS VAT.
I worked with Petr Shepelev on this installation. It was quite a pleasant experience. He installed the EAS app on our store within a short amount of time and showed us examples of how things would work after the installation was completed. His timely responses and extensive knowledge of customs clearance for the EU and the UK gave us a strong boost in selling our products in those markets (from the US). Great team and a great app. Highly recommended if you are looking for an agency that takes care of the taxes/duties for your e-commerce.

As a UK Shopify merchant, I must say that we are very happy with EAS Project. Their app works seamlessly in Shopify and at the end of each month, there is a detailed report of the sales for that month. Registration for IOSS went seamlessly with them and we have already seen a quiet return of the EU customers we had before so we are hopeful that the upward trend of returning EU customers will continue. We do not have to download reports or anything to EAS - it is all done through the app and they help with the installation and integration. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

BEST APP ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE TO DATE! The team at EAS are incredibly helpful. Before installing I had quite a few questions which were answered quickly by the team. I received the IOSS number the same day I submitted the requested documents. The team at EAS then helped with the installation and checked that it all was working properly before giving us the green light. I then had a few more questions with regards to orders over €150 which the CEO of the company and I spoke on the phone about! Would definitely recommend it, the onboarding has been fantastic and I am sure the app will also work well.
