Since we onboarded almost a year ago, I've been able to direct every single question to a single person, Ryan. They don't hand you off to some overseas support-line with two days response time or ask you to talk to a chatbot. Ryan genuinely answers any questions or concern we might have usually within minutes. A few hours, max. Not days or weeks. And they take our very specific questions and problems we run into seriously. This says a lot about the actual company, that they let customer support issues reach all the way to the top, and the developers. Just today I found some functionality we would find useful in our company, I let Ryan know, he spoke to the CEO, and the development is now in the pipeline. FlavorCloud and our rep, Keali Collier have been absolute LIFE SAVERS! As a small but rapidly growing business with customers world-wide desiring our products, we went from wasting hours and hours trying to get International orders to our customers, to a seamless buying experience. We were on the verge of no longer offering international shipping when we decided to give FlavorCloud a try. Keali has been our international "shipping angel" since day one when she called me back after I left a message at FlavorCloud headquarters. I highly recommend FlavorCloud if you too are pulling your hair out trying to serve your international customers! :D

Amazing app and stellar customer service. Never experienced any hiccups. When there are courier related issues, tracking questions, lost scenarios, etc., their customer service is always very speedy and responsive. 5 stars!

Be careful if you are shipping from the UK FedEx lost a parcel and we have no way of getting compensated for the loss which currently stands at around £400. We have chased this with FlavorCloud and they have said they can't help us. You have to be aware that when processing parcels in the UK with FedEx it is not a smooth process and involves requesting another label with a different tracking number from FlavorCloud that then sends the parcel to the FedEx hub in the UK. The parcel is then processed for overseas shipping from this Hub. Our parcel clearly states it was delivered at Fedex's Hub with a signature of the Fedex employee that received it. FlavorCloud have done nothing to resolve this which doesn't make us confident using their service going forward.

FlavorCloud consistently provides cost cutting and marketing recommendations to help grow our business. Our PO, Keali, is well versed in the FC dashboard and goes above + beyond to work with us and our 3PL to ensure orders are being processed and sent out on time.

We are struggling to get support and cannot get the cart to show expected Landed Costs. Would love to get assistance and up date this review. We have been trying to get support for over 2 weeks.

So far I have had a very positive experience with FlavorCloud. I love their chat that makes it so easy to communicate. I have been speaking with Mollie and she has been very helpful every step of the way. It is hardly possible to ship internationally without a service such as this for a small business, especially now that it is more or less required to prepay for taxes and duties. This makes it easy to do your own shipping or if using a smaller fulfillment center that does not have their own discount rates set up with DHL or FedEx (this requires large amounts of packages). Setting up VAT is also INCREDIBLY time consuming and VERY difficult. We just got started with FlavorCloud, and have not yet had any packages get lost or delayed in transit, and I hope when those issues arise, that it will be a smooth process.

This feature, cross boarder shopping experience reduces friction for most international customers and has been super helpful with expanding our brand and sales globally. However, the backend support to troubleshoot lingering issues within the app have disappointed me tremendously. I've asked for help on several occasions and have not received any assistance to address my immediate issues.

Customer service was very good but I ended up deleting the app when I found out what they charge. Update: They take a large percentage of your order value which should be in writing before you download the app and give the app ALL of your data and customer files. I did express this concern to Shopify on more than one occasion and they did take note of it. When reading over this app, one would think that it is "free" and the fees may be in just the shipping charges, but you pay shipping and give them a cut of your profits. Just BEWARE of that.

FlavorCloud has been working really great for us ever since we've transitioned our international shipping over to it. The rates for shipping, especially for express shipping like DHL are much cheaper (like 50% the cost) than the rates I've negotiated in the past. It's also great that customs duties can be collected up front, so my customers have a smoother process with receiving their shipments. The customer service team has been superb as well, and they've followed up with me relatively quickly whenever there's been an issue. The user interface for shipping is a bit clunky at the moment, but I'm looking forward to the future version of the interface when it comes out, as they've collected feedback on pain points and suggestions for improvement from me and others.

CANADIANS BEWARE. AVOID THIS APP. This app is just not set up for success if you're a Canadian shop. I signed up with the promise of hassle free shipping and faster shipping times. When my international orders came in, the issues started. Not only did the app constantly miss uploading orders (causing me to contact flavorcloud for assistance) but I wasn't even able to ship them. I had orders sitting for over a week while they were "working on it" and the only time I was able to get information was if I was the one who reached out first (which was every time). The idea was that they would send me a consolidated label, so I would ship all of the international order together to Asendia in the US and from there they would go onto their destinations. All of this was to take a maximum of 10 business days. Well, it took a week for them to get me the label, almost 2 weeks for Asendia to receive, and another week for them to ship them out and not a single one (another week later) has made it to their destination countries. The app also has so many bugs and glitches, it's a horrible interface. Absolutely awful service, I DO NOT recommend unless you want empty promises and angry customers. I could honestly go on and on about all of the issues I had with this company.

The best fulfillment for international shipping. Very responsive customer service and always delivers. Friendly user dashboard, really helpful FAQ, everything's very well-thought-out. We used to concern about the commission rate, but the commission turns out to make much sense concerning the very competitive shipping rate and the feature of DDP (no surprise custom tax for customers). We have been using flavorcloud for the past five months and have recommended it to many others, keep the good work!

Over time I've been having more and more problems with this app. It has bugs very often, and doesn't seem to work with wholesale orders that use discounted prices.

We have been looking and searching for a long time to find a partner and app to assist us with international shipping in ways that avoid customers receiving surprise duty payments and also less expensive shipping options. I've researched different shipping rates, and FlavorCloud provided the cheapest rate by quite a lot of difference (for my case, it was $100 cheaper for the large package), and FlavorCloud takes care of all customs paper and the duty fee upfront, so it smooths the process of package acceptance at customs and ensures customer receives products on time. Besides all the pluses listed above, the #1 reason to go with FavorCloud is their top notch level of customer service. I was having an issue with creating an international shipping label via Shopify, and with Shopify customer support via chat and email, the problem wasn't being resolved after working on it over 3 days. I emailed FlavorCloud with a request for an urgent call, and Jeff gave me a call in an hour, and he listened to my issues, and we had a call setup with Jeff and Sharad in 2 hours, and they walked me through the entire process of setup and to create the shipping label I was having trouble with. They spent the entire hour with me until the issue was resolved and until I felt comfortable using the app. There are many companies out there, but it's hard to find companies that really care and provide help when needed. I'm glad we found FlavorCloud. Now we can process international shipping at ease, and our customers get to enjoy the low shipping rate.

The decision to use FlavorCloud has simplified our checkout process for international customers. The integration is seamless and their customer support is very responsive. Having FlavorCloud to calculate shipping costs and generate customs forms is a no-brainer.

FlavorCloud has allowed our small business to be able to serve customers all over the world. Without it and it's streamlined process, I don't think that we would be doing international sales at all. FlavorCloud integrates easily with our shopify site and has accurately calculated the shipping/duties/fees for us for multiple countries. The set up was easy, I was able to get on a quick phone call with them for it. They walked me through setting up HSN codes, destination countries, and all the shipping settings. They even took me through a practice order to show me how to do all the shipping. All of this was easy and took about 30 minutes. And customers LOVE that they can pay the duties upfront. We have had multiple customers tell us how nice it is they don't have to worry about things getting stuck in customs. So in summary, FlavorCloud does a great job and is easy to use, and the customer service is off the charts. Special thanks to Balthasar, he's the best. 10/10, I would highly recommend.

Flavorcloud has been a great solution for our company to offer DDP shipping. The checkout experience is seamless for customers, and it is easy to expand our shipping options to additional countries. We did have a couple of technical challenges with printing out of the gate, but the FC team is incredibly responsive and works quickly to solve any issues and answer any customer-related questions. In the few months we have been using the app, they have also made some tracking updates that have greatly improved the customer experience. Very happy!

This app is insane! I can't believe that I have been able to set up international shipping in my store within 2 weeks after opening. This system is a game changer for us. As our COO, I have used many shipping services and understand how "it all works." To have an app that installs quickly to give real time quotes based on country and service is really great and easy. I would say what it comes down to is cost, and the shipping costs are much lower than our old services. There's 2 services, standard and express and they quote out all of their carriers (post, fedex, ups, dhl, etc) based on the "lanes" and the destination country. Long story short, it's worth installing and trying it out. It's easy to work with and the costs are a game changer. Hope that helps

I would highly recommend flavor cloud for international check out. The app was super simple to integrate and the company provided excellent support by walking us through each step of the way. The technology/platform itself is user friendly. Also, if I ever have any questions their team is on top of it. They respond very quickly and are always super pleasant to work with!

We had been struggling with the complexity of international orders for some time - it was a real problem given that @50% of the business was from outside the US. FlavorCloud was a great solution for us - we were live in 24 hrs and were able to ship orders straight away. The customer experience is very good and creates consumer confidence in the checkout and reduces post shipment Customer Service. The operator interface is intuitive allowing for ease of shipping and the creation of tailored programs & promotions. The economics look good and we are more profitable given the increased conversion, lack of CS and reduced shipping rates (all of which more than offsets the fees, which are on an order basis so no fixed costs). Great app and great team who support us - highly recommended.

Only issue: Unfortunately, it will not let you use the platform to make shipments other than the orders pulled from your store. Sometimes we combine orders for bulk shipments and have to use a different carrier for that :/

This app is amazing. It gives us great rates on FedEx Express for shipments to Canada and globally. We've definitely seen our volume of international shipment increase as a result. Most importantly, this app allows us to collect and pay duty upfront, giving transparency to the customer and preventing delays in customs. The app autogenerates customs forms for each shipment so we simply have to print and ship. And whenever we've had any questions on international shipments, the support team is very responsive and helped resolve things in a short time frame allowing us to respond to our customers in a very timely way. This is very important for our customer service team. Definitely give this app a try! There's a small learning curve to get things set up but once you are using it on the regular you'll be stoked.

I use this app to ship out our international orders. It's very helpful because the customer pays for the shipping label and duty charges up front so there is no surprise fee when they receive their package. The only thing I would say is to make sure all of your HS codes are up to date one very single item on your website or else it will not charge the customer duty fees and you could be looking at spending a lot of money to get the order shipped to them. Hoping that HS codes will be more automatic in the future!

Great App for shipping internationally! Customers are made aware of the import duties they will owe at checkout so no more suprises when they receive our product. Flavorcloud has completely transformed our international shipping business. We use a 3PL and previously were unable to have tracking and duty information relay directly to the customer upon checkout and shipment. With this app those issues are no more. Now our customer can see a shipping service rate with the rate for shipping and duties clearly shown at checkout, AND they're getting better express shipping options. Additionally, it's really easy for our 3PL to print out the paperwork needed to ship out the packages, saving us all time and fees. The back end is transparent and data is easily exportable. Lastly, the customer service is top notch. Rathna and her team have been available 24/7 for any issues that have come up and have quickly addressed them with prompt communication. Great app. Great service and always improving. Love it!
