I have uninstalled this app, however the code has remained in my theme and is causing severe conflicts. Still waiting on support to find out how to remove it 10 days later.

We followed up multiple times by email and sent a link to book a call so we could help remove the leftover code directly, but weren't able to get that scheduled. Brilliant - Ilya has been very actively helping us solve some issues we were having with SEO. Something that took us weeks to try to resolve that we couldnt figure out was not only spotted by them in minutes but also resolved. Our organic ranking on Google search console went from 72 to 13 in less than a week for some specific keywords. Thank you again!

I subscribed for Plug in SEO after reading a recommendation for it by the ecommerce writer Paul Waddy who lists it in his "10 Helpful Apps for your Shopify Store" in his book Shopify for Dummies. I am very impressed with this app and also signed up for their Quick Start Service. The service I have received from Pablo has been excellent, very thorough and detailed, and he has really helped me to understand where my shop is currently standing and what I need to do to quickly make my site more SEO friendly to hopefully boost my organic traffic. Pablo completed a detailed keyword research exercise and reviewed and updated all my meta titles and meta descriptions to eliminate the most immediate critical issues with my existing text that were hindering the performance. I think Plug In SEO is a great affordable and accessible way for a new start up like mine to quickly undertake critical SEO tasks, avoiding the need to use an expensive SEO agency.
I recently used the Plug In SEO Quick Service Package, and I was really impressed with the quality of the service provided. The team delivered a clear, comprehensive overview of my Shopify store’s current SEO performance, pinpointing areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations that were easy to understand and implement. Their insights not only helped me address immediate issues but also equipped me with a better framework for ongoing SEO maintenance. I highly recommend any Shopify store owner take advantage of their audit services. Whether you're new to SEO or simply want to ensure your store is performing at its best, the Plug In SEO team offers excellent value and expert guidance.
UPDATE: I have continued to use Plug in SEO. Their team is very supportive and makes us feel like we have our very own SEO team for our small shop. We have purchased the annual support plan. Pablo has been great at helping us further our SEO initiatives by helping us plan our keywords more strategically and to fix problems that were keeping our pages from ranking. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I found Plug In SEO after struggling to find an SEO expert to help us improve/solve some of our technical SEO issues. Mike and his team did a great job helping us set up everything within the app, fixing our main errors, and even walking me through how to improve our SEO going forward. I highly recommend this app for Shopify stores that want to follow SEO best practices but may not have a team to dedicate to SEO.
Great app, really amazing in helping to understand SEO issues. Also, the quick start option with Pablo was incredibly helpful, as he explained what the issues were, fixed many of them for us, and then gave simple instructions for us to fix any issues that are out of scope of the service.

I tried the 2-week free trial to see if it was something we needed. We realized that now wasn’t the right time for it, but we failed to unsubscribe. The support team was very helpful and understanding, so we received a full refund even though it was our fault. Thank tou for great customer service!
Don't use this app. It is useless at all, no clear instruction, after uninstall it, it remove the page title
Working on my year long plan with Pablo has been informative and very helpful in getting my SEO in shape. There’s a lot of in and outs that you might not be able to grasp without a little hand-holding. I’m fixing errors left and right…thank you for a great service!
Pablo and the company were very clear in our first SEO meeting and broke down in simple language what we need to focus on. He also guided us to new approaches that will save us a lot of time up front as well as saving money. We are happy to be on this path with Plug In SEO.
Actually I had tried several SEO apps and this one is the most handful and easy to learn and most importantly it truely helps. Not like other so called AI SEO, to be honest they are't real, I believe SEO should be ultimately done by your own. And Plug in SEO is a true helper. After 4 months, I tried their another service- named quick start service. Its a professional package for SEO I would say- Pablo is well-prepared for our meeting, and after the session we have done, I knew exactly where I am at and which exactly I should improve. This QSS provided me not just SEO knowledge but also grew me so much confidence on my website. I would definitely recommend for those new starter (not confidence in SEO) to try on this one, the price of the service is so much underestimated.
After subscribing to one of the Plug In SEO plans I decided to also purchase the Plug In SEO Quick Start Service, to help with moving forward optimising my Shopify store and I can highly recommend QSS. I had a video call session with Pablo, who was brilliant; he clearly explained various aspects of this complicated side of having an e-commerce website, provided easy to understand guidance for what needs to be done and was patient with my questions. Thank you Pablo and Mike!
Very Confusing app. No tutorials or information given. It automatically changes all your pages names. So in the meantime of figuring out their platform, your whole website pages are renamed. There are no quicklinks to edit the SEO suggestions, just learn how. There are no suggestions for character length when editing page titles. Just a weird overpriced seo service. Sent them an email for support a week ago and did not hear back. Sent them a new one. So this review is subject to change.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience. We apologize it wasn't better. However, this review is not accurate. In fairness, there are three problems with this review: 1. Your email was answered in under an hour. However, all of 2. We offered you a consultation as you requested. You didn't respond. 3. Finally, we have hundreds of support articles and videos in our app. We are always working to make our app easier to use and we are sorry when it's too complex for our users.
I'm really pleased with this SEO app and their quick start service. The quick start service was a great way to get started. I found the call with Pablo Algara to be particularly helpful. He was fun to talk with and provided clear insight and guidance on how to implement their SEO recommendations. I only wish they offered ongoing services to assist with the next steps based on their recommendations.
ATTENTION: I can only warn everyone about this app. After you install this app in order to test it, it not only removes some of your source code, it also adds code to your shopify shop. And when you unistall the app, the changes in your source code will not be undone, at least parts of it. Many of the changes stays as they are and you can take care of removing the code or restoring the removed code yourself. I needed a programmer for this. This is not how an app should work.

After looking at the support tickets you had with our customer service team (available 22-24 hours per day) it looks like most of this review is reflecting issues that were never discussed. In each case when you raised any issue with our team your questions were well researched and handled professionally. The way the app is able to install/uninstall code is how Shopify requires us to run the app. Thanks again.

This app created more problems than it solved. Generated excessive number of pages -- I have no idea what they are -- and conflicted with other apps. I've uninstalled it after 6 weeks.

As a new online business, we needed help with our online presence and employed SEO services for a Complete SEO fixes project. Divya (Project Manager) was very helpful and provided a complete professional service. They submitted a full report for our review containing recommendations and potential fixes and was followed by a video call to answer any questions we may have. We installed this app and paied for a 199$ optimization. After checking our website, the SEO expert informed me that I had to uninstall another SEO app that we were using. We chose to keep to not uninstall our app and not go futher with Plug in SEO. We got refund immediately.

We've had this app for a month, nothing but issues. Shopify recommended this app after our previous SEO app was banned from the app store. The main functions we needed were passing along Structured Data to google, we're a month in and *maybe* have that figured out now. We also noticed that once the app was installed folks started finding old, deleted products on google and bringing them to 404 pages. We NEVER had 404 issues, now we have had thousands in a fw short weeks. The biggest issue was their support email rejects all emails--their listed support email help@pluginseo.com rejects any emails. The email help@pluginuseful.com must be used which is not listed here, but they will respond back from help@pluginseo.com and you will not be able to have a conversation/thread with them. The only way I was able to open a thread of communication with them was by asking Shopify Support to start an email chain. But not even Shopify will give me their true contact email. Honestly surprised they are allowed to have an App without a help email. I have no idea how this app has 5 stars. I am also adding here that it's called Plug in SEO in the app store, but when you download the app the title is Plus in SEO "BETA" which would make sense why it's not working perfectly.

The way it works for us is that if someone visits a 404 page, a request is made to our server (because of pluginseo snippets) we only record the links and it is not possible for our app to create new URLs or to change settings that would create/lead to these 404 landing pages. As for our support email address you could reach us at help@pluginuseful.com and/or help@pluginseo.com (both are legitimate email addresses), nevertheless we've run tests and also asked assistance from Shopify Support to check on it. We purchased the "Premium SEO Package" on Feb 19, 2022. Our website has over 100 products. We understood that in this package they will only do 10 products and that's fine. But even so in these 10 products they did not do Product Meta Title, Product SEO descriptions and Alt Image Text. Then they gave us 10 suggestions for Product H2 Subheadings and they had used a few of them for the 10 products they did. Since we have over 100 products, we then asked them to give us a few more suggestions. Today is March 14 and they have not replied us at all until now. So we suggest not to buy any additional package from this company. Maybe you hire an expert to help you is cheaper and we are sure "BETTER"!!

I've been using the app for two days and it has already proved invaluable and we're not even paying for it yet! While it doesn't actually tell me what keywords I should be using or anything like that, the step by step guidance on what action I should be taking and where is brilliant. We considered employing someone to do this for us and now I feel that with the the help of the app, I will learn how to do this myself and will be able to roll out the lessons i've learned on other websites, so we have in fact saved 10's of thousands using the app. Thank you PlugInSEO

I used this app myself and employed one of their experts to do some fixes for my shop. The app is great at providing simple instructions to improve my SEOs. The setup was easy and the app has been working perfectly. The expert also did an excellent job performing the required tasks quickly and even providing a short video to help me make fixes in the future.

Neues Feedback: Die Reaktion vom Support ist schnell und vielleicht wird das Problem gelöst, wenn gelöst, gibt es 5 Sterne. Support und Service müssen belohnt werden. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Die App ist eher schädlich für dein SEO. Gründe: - Die schreibt alles um, was man mühevoll erarbeitet hat. - Es wurden 58 Seiten nicht mehr von Google indiziert und aus der Suche geworfen. - Das Tool kommt mit dem "Ö","Ä" und "Ü" nicht zurecht und ersetzt diese durch sehr komische Zeichen. - Keine wirkliche Kontrolle in der App - Statistik sagt das was nicht stimmt, aber nicht was man machen soll Leider ist diese App für diesen Preis, keine gute Wahl. Ich habe im Bereich WordPress schon viele SEO Apps verwendet, auf Shopify ist es wirklich schlimm. p.s. nach der Deinstallation ist die App weiterhin aktiv und muss mühevoll aus dem Code gelöscht werden. Wie kann das sein?

This app is amazing! Step by step instructions tio improve my site was exactly what i needed and this app has given me all of the information I needed and I am still on the free trial. In my opinion it a funnelling, not an app. They want you to install it to put you on plan. I also left with SEO fields inside my theme I cant get rid off after uninstall. thanks

Hi there, Plug in SEO monthly subscription gives you a bunch of automatic SEO improvements to your shop along with tools and enhancements so YOU can manage your SEO yourself going forward. Our SEO fix jobs and Plug in SEO Plus monthly options are completely separate and OPTIONAL but very complementary to each other. A lot of customers start out with Plug in SEO and then purchase one-off fix packages if they need more help in specific areas. After uninstalling a Shopify app there may be code still leftover from it in your theme. That's often not the fault of the developer, it's the way Shopify works. Unfortunately when you delete the app in your Shopify admin the app's access to your theme is immediately removed: there's no opportunity to clean up leftover theme changes.
