Amplify | Bundles & Upsell

We use it for more than 5 years but recently the dashboard and admin is not working and can't speak with no one from their team . It's only through email and they don't solve our problems. If it continues I will have to look for other solution.

We've been using Amplify a couple years now, and have found it to be a great addition to our online store. Carlos and the team are always super helpful and responsive when it comes to any support we require.

There are so many great bundling options available, depending on the type of upsell opportunity, but they're all quick and easy to set-up. Everything fits seamlessly into the shop, and our customers love them. Would highly recommend Amplify!

Amplify has made many of our store's discounts easy to implement and manage. The cart is also very user friendly. Carlos and the Amplify team are amazing to work with due to their quick responses, abundance of knowledge, and friendliness! I highly recommend using Amplify.

We’re using Amplify for bundles and cart functionality, and I have to say it works really well. However, the real strength of Amplify is the customer support — Carlos is always ready to quickly solve any doubt or issue, and the flexibility of the team is outstanding. Several of our feature requests were accepted and developed in a very short time. Highly recommended!

Our primary motivation to use Amplify was to get around Shopify's limit of 3 total options per bundle. Once you have two products with two or more options, Shopify's native bundle solution will not work. While we've found some of the in-app customizations to be limited, Amplify's team is incredibly responsive in writing custom code and helping us apply customizations to get the user experience exactly how we want it.

BEWARE! While this app might function well, the developers are out for a money grab. Don't be lured by the FREE trial. We deleted the app TWICE, only to learn that it was still active and we were being charged for it for over 2 years, while not utilizing it on our site. On top of it, they increased the monthly charge from $49 to $99 without any notice! Granted, we should have caught this earlier, but the way app charges are billed through Shopify, they are often buried amongst other charges, such as shipping and marketplace charges. Once we realized there was a consistent charge, we asked the developers for a billing statement, which they initially refused to provide, and then only sent a screen shot of the last 6 months. We explained to them that the app was not being used on the site and the test bundle we created was not published, but they refused to partner with us and would not consider any refund. There are SO MANY bundle apps out there, so it would seem like customer service and partnership would be a standout quality for a company that is supposed to support businesses of all sizes. Very disappointed by lack of professionalism and care.

We’ve been using this app for over a year, and it used to work very well — the features were solid and the customer support was responsive. However, over time, the support quality has declined significantly. It's getting SOOOO EXPENSIVE. Recently, response times have become extremely slow, which is very concerning for a tool that directly impacts site performance. Today, the app even caused our cart to crash, which affected our entire day’s sales. This is unacceptable for a production environment. We’ve since uninstalled the app and will not be using it again. If you're running a serious e-commerce business, I would strongly recommend caution before relying on this app.

our customers seem to love the bundle pages where they can combine their own bundle. also the customer service is absolutely wonderful! the app is super intuitive, too.

We have been using this app for more than four years and were most of time very satisfied with app functionality and support. Within the last 12-months our prices were raised twice even though we were on a lagacy plan and our volume didn't change. Someone would assume Amplify would be interested in keeping long-term customers by at least offering different tier based options but that does not seem to be the case. The app also did not add any new functions that would justify that steep increase to $100/month. It just seems to be pure greed since the ownership change from PickyStory to Amplify.

1) Found bugs that were causing serious issues with our store. Customer service (Samuel 5/5 stars for effort) fixed the issues eventually. 2) Pricing was $49pcm, and within a couple of weeks of using it we were nudging the next payment 'level', which would have been $199pcm. 3) Today (19th Feb 26) got an email to say our pricing was to increase (in the next 2 weeks) to $99pcm, with the new level at $249 (or $299 I think) No thanks. Pure GREED.

We switched from Rebuy to Amplify, and the transition was incredibly smooth and fast. The developer team made everything easy — especially Carlos, who communicated clearly and completed all app customizations we asked for! Highly recommend!

Amplify (Bundles) caused repeated pricing and cart failures on our high-volume store. Bundle prices took 4–15 seconds to load, then often reverted to full price in cart; the cart also buffered or failed to load. Hotjar recordings confirm the issues. During this period our conversion rate fell ~40% with no other site changes. Support was circular and slow: two unhelpful chats, a sales call that couldn’t help, then an email asking me to restate everything instead of reviewing history. We switched to Fast Bundle, whose team fixed customisations instantly. Not recommended.

Carlos was very helpful in resolving an issue we had with a new theme. Sent a detailed email and when that didn't work was able to find a solution quickly over chat support.

We have been using the Amplify app in our store for a long time and are very satisfied. The support is super fast and competent. I reported a problem in the chat and Ivan took care of it immediately and fixed the problem. Everything is great, the app is highly recommended.

we have so many problems with this app. it is a continuous stream of technical problems, we have to pause our marketing efforts when their bundles break again. happens many times during the weekend and they dont even email back then. and that for such an expensive app do not use this terrible app. is the only thing i can say. the tech is bad. their support team is kind, but the core product, which is an IT solution, is really bad and unstable costing you so much money as a business owner.

Amplify has good technical support.

We generated close to $900 revenue but also paid $900 per month - which resulted in a major loss. This was not known to us and the team has refused to issue any refund.The experience has been extremely disappointing. Product has a lot of bugs in terms of look and feel, and internally some basics are not put in place.

very very bad experience they are scammers i was just on my free bundle i have not subscribed to there paid bundle they charged me $29.50 even i have not used there app for sale my sales are nothing expenses are to much but they also charged me when i ask there support they say we can't give you refund its correct charge stupid bull shit app ever used fuck you.

So far so good...just installed this app about 30min ago. Pretty easy to set up and it appears to be working great. We are using it for the Build Your Own Bundle feature since we already have fixed bundles. Had a question about how to set default variants for product selection and Uğur Can via their support team was a great help. My only criticism is that the Contact Support link in the Shopify App did not work. I had to go to the website and then go through their chat widget. Still 5 stars...service was fast and the app seems to be working well. Will update later if any issues pop up.

Been using pickystory for a month now and it has been a big help. We used to make bundles manually through shopify and tracking inventory and skus for all of the bundles was a hassle. Pickystory makes it much better. The best part is the quick customer service. Anytime we run into any type of issue they are always available. They are very helpful and responsive. I also like that they take my suggestions and put them in the queue for future updates.

STAY AWAY! BUGGY AND EXPENSIVE. This app is full of bugs. Support is responsive yet makes one open promise after the next that are never delivered. It takes forever to setup bundles as each one has to be manually inputted and configured one by one. Due to the hundreds of hours I had invested in setup and troubleshoioting with Pickystory, I ended up using this app for far loinger than I should have. Soon after downloading the app and setting up my bundles, I was told I would be migrated to their new platform imminently. But it was more than ONE YEAR of bugs, overcharging, bundling products being removed, cart integration failures, lost revenue and lies from the PS dev team. At one point, the pickystory app removed ALL of my 273 bundles, on the biggest launch day on our site, which resulted in thousands in lost revenue.I was still charged IN FULL for that month despite it being a crash on their side that they admitted to. Stay away - more headaches and time spent logging bugs with support than its worth. Also, the charges are not at all transparent and this app completely overcharges for what it does. They also attribute every cent of revenue generated to their app, meaning you are charged exorbitant commissions, which they refuse to give you a detailed itemised invoice for. I found a great alternative for 1/10th of the price, called Simple Bundles. Same functionality, great support, reasonably priced. UPDATE: After the app responded to my review (falsely - I had requested to migrate to their new version for a full year and they told me this was not possible!), they did NOT rectify the issue in any way. It continues to be absolutely terribkle and a bunch of liars. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!
