We've used Simplee as the membership app for our pottery studio for 4+ years now, and continue to be thrilled with it. The app is fully featured and very reliable, and the customer service is incredibly friendly and responsive whenever I have a question or feature request. Pretty simple and intuitive! For anything that isn't the team is INCREDIBLY responsive. They address any issues and solve them faster than I've ever seen from any other team! You can tell they care about their product and their users. There are some features I'd love to have for my customers that aren't currently offered and they actually asked me what I'd like to see in future product updates - to feel like you're heard and you may very well see those needs addressed is huge! Only way I'll ever stop using Simplee for my membership-based business is if they stop offering their services! Edit: Migrating off of Shopify and the ONLY thing I will miss is Simplee! It is now October and I love them (and their customer service) just as much now as i did when I first wrote this review - if not more! Simplee is a bright spot in the rapidly dying art of customer service. Will miss this service!

I looked for a while for a straightforward membership app and tried several other locking/restriction apps as well as subscription apps. None really did what I wanted, and I'm very pleased with Simplee as I rebuild my store around a membership model. I've recently installed this app, and it works just as you'd expect it to, and is easy to set up. Not only is the software great, but the customer support is amazing! It's Saturday evening and I've been speaking with JP who has been amazingly helpful and patient with my requests. So if you're not sure, go for it, it's amazing!!

I trialled the Simplee Membership app for my store, and was impressed by many of the features. Sadly my store is niche and I couldn't quite make this app work for my business model. I uninstalled it, and some of the code remained on my site which was not giving me a great result. I am happy to report that I was able to contact the developers and they assisted me even though I wasn't going to be a long-term customer. Very quick and efficient service was provided by Grant and, before I knew it, my store was back to full working order with all of the unwanted code removed. In my mind this is the measure of REAL customer service... when someone is willing to help you even when you're not going to become a paying customer. As a result I have been left with a good feeling about the developers. I shall absolutely keep this app in mind for a time when I do need its features, because I know that they will support me. Thank you guys. Great work!

Very simple and works perfectly; needed to consult customer service in order to set up what I needed, but their CS was very fast, responsive, and friendly. First request for custom support took about a day; second took only a few minutes! Will be sticking with them for a while.

Simplee Memberships & Rewards has been incredibly easy to use and install. The setup process was straightforward, and we barely needed any guidance to get it up and running. It's a very intuitive app that makes creating and managing memberships hassle-free. One of the biggest advantages is that there are no transaction fees per member purchase, which is a game-changer compared to many other Shopify competitor apps that charge fees each time members spend. This has saved us a significant amount of money. The support team is fantastic—they respond quickly and are always patient in explaining anything we don’t understand. They’ve been a huge help in making sure we maximize the potential of the app. My only feedback is that I wish we could sell memberships directly through the POS app. Right now, our in-store associates have to reroute to the web browser on the iPad to sell memberships, which adds a bit of extra time. That being said, we’re excited to see how this app continues to improve and scale. We can’t wait to see the upcoming enhancements!

Chris helped me with question after wild question as I scrambled to build a business from scratch. If I was trying to do something funky, he quickly gamed it out and came up with ways I could manage it. Then he led me to some example stores that allowed me to take a step back and reassess my design and marketing in a way that helped me create a better product presentation page. Great app - great customer service. The bearded fella also helped me with some widget customization but I can't recall his name. Hopefully he gets wind of how much his help was appreciated.

The App, 15 out of 10. The Service... cant put a price on it, Chris and team took on our non standard requirent, quoted a day or two to implement and just hours later, built, implemented, installed, and ran us through it. I spent the last 3 days F'ing around with some big name app providers to no success and they were all 2 and 3 times the price of Simplee. This is where you need to go for your membership app. disregard the others. save yourself the ehadache

Spent a long time looking for the perfect app for my online content membership system. Several other options are out there, but none match the ease of use and customer support I've found here with Simplee. My questions in chat support were answered promptly and they were able to make a few customizations I needed almost immediately. Highly recommend!

Good service from Simplee team. The apps functionality with Shopify and to manage our members is good. The only downside is that the sub is our biggest recurring expense for our website - our membership is relatively small! Edit - The Simplee team read this review and have now offered us a 75% discount on the per member fee, which is awesome!

I just started using this app for memberships, over some of the others for a couple reasons: - simpler, more straightforward to setup - allows option to include a one-time fee with membership in a non crazy or roundabout way Upon my first interaction with support, i can say it was a pretty seamless and awesome interaction and I was really surprised by that. I'm relatively new to shopify so I don't know if this is common for plugins to offer such immediate and good help but it bodes welll for me and hope that it will continue in future. So i'd probably give the app 4 stars but the support experience makes it easily a 5 for me. Anyways, the app provides what I need - I wish they had a better free plan for me to get started with, rather than just a free trial, but because it makes things simpler anyways, I'm gonna stick with it. Happy so far so good.

This app provided everything I needed to create Customer Membership Plans. I struggled to find apps that utilized Shopify Payment Options as well as Member Restrictions based on Membership Plans. But this app does it all! Not only that, Chris was able to support logistical needs specific to my Shopify Theme. Thank you all so much, I couldn't be happier!!

This app really saved our online membership program. We were using another app and testing with it for months without the results we wanted. When we switched to Simplee we were able to have our online program up and running within a week! Their customer service is awesome and they always have great solutions for all of our needs. The membership portal is beautiful and I love how seamless it looks to purchase a membership in our theme. We've been really happy so far with our decision to switch, thank you Simplee.

We use this app for a full membership site that restricts loads of content and discounted products to members. Whenever I've had an issue or question the support has been fantastic and reliable. It's the only membership app that uses the Shopify product, order, customer and payment gateway to keep everything nice and tidy instead of a separate gateway. Best membership app for Shopify.

This is a very very easy to use app. It works perfect for what we asked for. We enquire to move "Manage Memberships" from original position to the list on the left and also added it into the droplist in Sign in section. Their team member Chris is amazing. He responded to me and solve the issue just in second. Very efficiency.

So far so good! This is the only membership app on Shopify that fully integrates into your store, which significantly improves customer experience. We worked extensively with Chris before launch including Simplee doing some custom coding to meet our needs, and overall have had a positive experience.

Amazing App, it has all the functionality I need, works great and is very straightforward to get under way. The support is even better, i've just changed my theme over and in a few hours the app was manually installed and up and running again.
