Stockie Inventory Management

A great Stocky replacement! It has pretty much everything we need, and they are actively adding and fixing things to make it better. We have been using it for two months and within that time they have added multiple features that we used regularly in the old Stocky. When I reach out with a question, request a feature, or report a bug the Co-founder, Jake, responds the same day or next day.

Jake and the Stockie team has been incredinly supportive during the transition to their app. They have answered our questions quickly, helped us find the answers or let us know why something may not be possible. HIGHLY recommend it you are looking for the next best version of Stocky.

We moved Old Coleman Parts from X-Cart to Shopify, and Stockie has made a big difference for us. We manage around 1,200 individual products and used to spend a few days each month sorting out inventory. Even with that effort, we still made mistakes. Now that work happens automatically, and it’s more accurate. Our employees can understand and use it easily, and the reporting is great. As the owner, it’s taken a lot of worry off my plate and given us time back to focus on running the business. I’d recommend Stockie to any small business spending too much time manually figuring out what to reorder.

Great app for purchase orders and receiving. Seamless!

After hitting a wall with our POS rollout of our Superstore we were overwhelmed by the hurdles and didnt know where to start to achieve some of the features our previous POS system performed. We researched and found Stockie and decided to contact them. Not only was there a human at the other end, the service from Jake and the team in walking us through the features, and better still rolling out features to suit our needs was something that has really stood out with this developer. Amazing replacement and upgrade to Shopify's native purchase order option. Also has Location based inventory reporting so it is perfect for our multiple location business. Customer Support is top class and they have even integrated some of our requests into the reporting within 24 hours. Highly recommend this app especially at it's monthly cost levels.

After Shopifys original Stocky went down, we as a business were very concerned because some of the reports we rely on weren't available anywhere. I reached out to these guys a month before the original app was planned to close down, and they communicated really well with us and genuinely wanted to help. Within 4 weeks the report we needed was built and turns out, was even better than the one we had been using for many years (for those reading, we needed to be able to see current inventory vs units old on the same report and filter between sales source, locations and dates whilst being able to minimise the data using product filters) The Stockie team have genuinely excelled our expectations, been crystal clear throughout with their comms and probably one of the best customer service experiences ive had from a company

We previously used Stocky and were worried about finding a good replacement but this app is perfect. In fact it's better than Stocky. We are a medium sized retail store with about 150 suppliers and we have to generate lots of complicated purchase orders because those suppliers can't always deliver what we want. This app handles it all well. We also need to print barcode labels which this does well. The support from their team has also being amazing. I'd strongly recommend it.

This app works very Similar to the old Stocky App! Wonderful Tech support if you need help in understanding how to use it. I have ask multiple questions and have always received a very detailed step by step guide on how to use it. Customer service is something that seems to be a thing of the past but with Stockie Inventory Management that is not the case. I highly recommend their product!

When Shopify stopped offering Stocky, it was a challenge for us to find an app that truly met our needs. I tried a few different ones, always disappointed with the features or lack of support. We then discovered Stockie Inventory Management, which was yet another app to learn and test amidst operating the business daily, which is no small feat as the "old dog learning new tricks" that I am Jake, the co-founder of Stockie, has been beyond amazing, going above and beyond to work with me, assisting with the speed bumps of my learning curve with clear detailed guidance, quick responses and fabulous support. The best customer service you will ever receive, hands on! The reporting options will help with the growth of our business. Whenever I have asked is there an option and the answer is don't worry we are working on it. Boom within a short time the option is available. We as many of you were skeptical what we would use for merchandise reporting and inventory control when Stocky shut down August 31st. I tried at least 6 others and not even close to what we needed. Switching from Stocky with a y was a great process. I was walked through what was needed, and they did most of the hard work for me. Set up was a breeze and I'm getting used to the User Interface. Nothing is missing if you're a Stocky convert, you will find it's pretty seamless to use. What makes it superb is the super responsive, and excellent, customer service. Highly recommend.

With our old inventory platform going away, I was looking for an alternative option to create and receive purchase orders, manage product costs and maintain accurate profit reporting. We recently switched to Stockie and so far it has really impressed me with the well thought out details other inventory management platforms lack. Jake was very quick to respond and helped me get data imported from our previous platform (thank you!). I'm really excited about the easy to read visuals for inventory health and automatic average cost syncing with Shopify.

Great supplemental insights that are missing from the Shopify platform (though they are standard analytics for procurement + inventory management). Takes a little to get used to but support is very helpful. I've yet to come across an issue that wasn't resolved or a view that I needed that they were not able to provide.

Easy to use

Intuitive and simple to use yet very powerful. Other purchasing apps can be complicated. Customer service is very responsive to the needs of their users. I wish we had changed over sooner.

We are so happy to be working with Stockie! We found out that our previous inventory management provider way going away and after the initial panic we did our research and chose Stockie. We went into it looking for something that might come close to what we had. Thanks to the developers at Stockie who really "listened" to what was important to us and what we wanted/needed, we now have a tool that is vital in helping us manage our inventory. From the ease of creating a purchase order, to the A,B,C product ratings and the functionality to receive and print barcode labels - Stockie is now an inegral part of day to day operations.

The app is comprehensive and is an improvement on Lightspeed Retail X inventory management and reporting. Also, the developer is very responsive for support and very open to suggestions for improvement.

Moved to Stockie to replace Stocky. Using the higher level that includes placing orders. Have a good 300 to 400 products to manage. Tried a couple of other Stocky alternatives before Stockie. Amazing service and help. Hope this will be the last time I have to change inventory management providers but really pleased so far and expecting to stay with Stockie long-term.

YES! Exactly what we needed. Far too many over-bloated, expensive inventory apps out there, Stockie is the antidote. Stockie has the simplicity of the original Stocky but with the advantage of hugely upgraded features where needed. Highlights are: 1. Ability to set long ‘lookback periods’ to smooth out the average sales per SKU (useful for stores selling alot of variants but with low sales quantity per variant) 2. Stockie will ignore ‘out of stock days’ when forecasting quantity to order. This is invaluable as it allows for accurate predictions of a) New products, and B) Products which were not available for a period of time 3. Purchase orders have the ability to add columns for ‘Qty Sold’ over the past 30, 60 & 90 days. Extremely useful. You can see your sales history at a glance without clicking out of the PO. 4. Ability to set ‘Restock to’ period per supplier 5. Ability to set manual min/max stock per SKU (so you can set some items to always replenish to a certain level). I’m told that in the future it will have the functionality to have a hybrid between a manual stock level and a forecasted level, so you can say “Keep at least 2 of these in stock”, but if your forecast suggests you need more it will override that quantity. This will be very useful. 6. Works with Bundles app so you can track your inventory on products in Bundles 7. ‘Stocktake’ feature. Yes please. Thanks! Additionally, Jake has been a Yes-person from the get go. Adding useful updates when requested. Stockie will genuinely save me hours of time per week Vs Stocky. Couldn’t ask for much more.

The Stockie Inventory Management app has been a true step up from our old Stocky app for Shopify. It lets you setup your inventory forecasting by location and actual sales history with ABC ranking features and endless sorting and data export options directly to .xlsx files. Exporting barcode labels to Yanet barcode labels and our Avery label sheets works very well. We can easily create draft POs using the forecasting, tweak them if needed and email them to our vendors. The support from Jake has been incredible, not that we needed support on any problems, more about our questions and getting advice on how best to configure our particular situation than anything else. Thank you Jake for creating an amazing inventory management app for Shopify to replace Stocky!

You need this app! We were overwhelmed with having to change our purchasing software after almost 8 years with Stocky, but the transition to Stockie has been so seamless for us. Jake and team have been so wonderful and answer questions so quickly. We are excited to continue to grow with Stockie!

Full 5 star experience right off the bat, from the initial inquiry to full implementation. We were super nervous about losing Stocky, as we used it heavily. We searched for a solid replacment, and finding Stockie was a big sigh of relief. In the years of doing this, we haven't had as good of an experience with integrating a new program into our system. Just the simple thing of getting answers to emails can be difficult. Not with Stockie though....they're super on top of it! That's greatly appreciated. The functionality is great and the level of customization we needed was met thoroughly. We definitely recommend Stockie for sure.

This Stockie app is an excellent replacement for Stocky. We ran some trials for a few different options and Stockie is the easiest switch we've ever had to do. It brought big smiles to our faces after some of the other options we tried. After using Stocky for years, the learning curve is so low it's almost non-existent. We were able to dive right in and start using it. The support has been excellent, both helpful and timely, and I would highly recommend Stockie to anyone who still needs a replacement for Stocky.

Additional comments - 2026 JUL 30 They listen carefully to user feedback and actively work to improve the app, making it better and more polished—highly recommended!! ------ The overall architecture is very similar to the native system, but many features still need improvement. For example, when placing purchase orders, one can only target individual warehouses; it is not possible to view complete stock data on a single page, and the same applies to forecasting purchase quantities. Company’s warehouses are broadly categorised as follows: single dispatch point + single warehouse / Single dispatch point + multiple warehouses / Multiple dispatch points + multiple warehouses. Different configurations and calculation methods should be available for these types. I operate a single dispatch point with multiple warehouses, and there are still many issues within this app that fail to meet our requirements. I hope an update can be released as soon as possible before my patience runs out; otherwise, I’ll be back on the painful path of searching for an alternative to Stocky. There aren’t any major issues with Stocky itself, so I hope Stockie catches up soon.

Not a true stocky replacement. the purchase order, stocktake, and transfer is just a reskin of shopify's native system.

I have worked with many Shopify apps over the years. Jake (co-founder) and his team have truly next-level customer service and response times, they are already like part of our own team. With the sunsetting of Stocky (with a y), we were pretty worried about our Purchase Order management as strong and intuitive inventory management is so crucial. We have a lot of local and International suppliers. We just didn't find the inbuilt Shopify PO system enough for our needs. A big plus for me is that Stockie (ie) feels "Shopify Native" so I didn't feel like I was learning a whole new platform. Jake (co-founder) has been brilliant in onboarding us and getting us up and running. They did our PO migration, and we were up and running within a day. Thanks Jake! Honestly - beyond impressive. The absolute closest replacement for Shopify's Stocky that we have found. Intuitive, easy to use and perfect for managing purchase orders and invoices as well as stock forecasting. The developers are incredibly responsive and willing to implement any features we have requested/require for our business. 10/10 rate.

Since Shopify discontinued Stocky, we were looking for a reliable replacement and discovered Stockie. It has been an excellent solution for inventory management, forecasting, and purchase orders, with even more features than Stocky. Jake has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, understood the changes we needed, and was happy to make adjustments to suit our business. The outcome has been fantastic, and we are now using Stockie effectively across our operations. Highly recommended for any Shopify business looking for a powerful inventory management and forecasting solution!

Pros: The most robust PO ordering system and the closest to Stocky that I've found. The support has been great and all my questions/issues have been swiftly addressed as I transition. Including creating a custom csv download that works with my barcode printing app. Cons: It is very expensive. I really only need the app for doing POs and not inventory management/forecasting and I am disappointed that POs are only offered as a feature on the most expensive level. If POs were offered on a lower cost tier, I'd be giving 5 stars.

Stockie has been a great tool for managing Purchase Orders and Inventory. And responses to questions and concerns are always addressed promptly!

If you're here to replace Stocky's purchase order generation, it'll do what you want, but you'll have to subscribe at the $60 tier regardless of other factors.

The customer support through this app has been the best experience. Jake has helped us import items from Stocky and added features to help us transition. This app has been a great solution with Stocky being sunset.

As others have said, we found Stockie (we'll call it Awesome Stockie) when looking for a replacement for Stocky (we'll call it Sad Stocky). We were never impressed or excited by Sad Stocky. We mostly settled on it because it did the basics of what we needed, and all the other apps were expensive, and had a lot of extras we wouldn't use. Looking recently, that is what we were finding this time around too, until we found Awesome Stockie! We're big fans of the name- it's the kind of humor we enjoy. Stockie is great. Like if Stocky got a glow-up. (If we're being honest though, we don't think Stocky had it in them). Awesome Stockie does the things that we used in Sad Stocky, but so much better. We have hundreds of vendors, and many tens of thousands of items, so at any given time we have tons of pending purchase orders at different stages of fulfillment. Awesome Stockie handles all of this, and was straightforward and easy to learn. But also, the support! WOW! Jake is the best (we'll call him Awesome Jake). We're not sure if he sleeps since he is always there to help, but it's so appreciated. We were really feeling overwhelmed by trying to find a new way to handle our purchase orders & receiving, but we're so glad we found Awesome Stockie & Awesome Jake!

Like a lot of other retailers, we were distraught about the sunsetting of Stocky (with a y). After looking at multiple replacement options, we found Stockie (with an ie) and have been so grateful for their support team, especially Jake! They made the migration process easy and answered all of our questions. Plus, if we had suggestion about the app itself, they would let us know that it was on their roadmap for future updates! We highly recommend this app for inventory management. It is simple and cost effective while still offering every feature that you need.

Since needing an alternative to Stocky, we came across Stockie; it's intuitive and really easy to use and has been great for Purchase Orders (can't attest to Stocktakes yet as at time of writing it's still in development). I was in the depths of despair trying to figure out what to do with the impending Stocky sunset. I looked at 20+ other apps that said they were Stocky replacements, but none of them really delivered. The main lacking feature for us was the min/max stock level. We found some solutions but they were very expensive and overly complicated. Luckily we found Stockie and have been very pleased so far. Jake has been very responsive with questions and feature requests. I can breathe easy again knowing that we’ve got something that will perform just as well, if not better than Stocky.

We tested many apps for managing purchase orders and order forecasting and Stockie Inventory Management is working out great for us. We have a lot of products (over 20,000) and we deal with some complicated situations like having multiple vendors for the same products (same barcode, but different supplier SKUs). Since we receive large POs (sometimes over 100 line items) containing many products that look alike, the ability to receive POs by scanning the products' barcodes is essential and this feature works really great. Support has also been excellent and they seem interested in implementing new improvements.

I'm so happy with this app! It's easy to use and customer service is top notch. This has solved the issues we were facing with the Stocky app scheduled for sunset. Given the response of the developers, looking forward to new features being added as time goes on. Thank you!

Would highly recommend Stockie as an alternative to Stocky. After spending a lot of time looking through alternatives, the similarity to the now sunset Stocky made me try Stockie. Just in the first week of use it has already proven to be far superior and is clearly made with care and thought for the retailer and actual processes we use every day. Jake on support has been fantastic with super fast response times and has actually taken on board feedback for tweaks and improvements that would make the app work even better for us. I really feel this is an app with dedicated people behind it who wish to grow with their clients. Must say, we use a lot of apps and don't often leave a 5* review (sadly!).

This app had one function i needed, but didnt have. Jake and the team added it in for me!! So far everything works as i need, with a heap of future updates coming. This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for to manage our inventory, purchase orders, and reorder suggestions. After going through countless alternatives to Stocky, this is the absolute best alternative I’ve found.

What a pleasure it is to use this Stockie app. It actually does what Ive PAID BIG BUCKS for previously with Neto (maropost). Its simple and for most medium sized online businesses does it all for you in regards to shopify inventory control without cumbersome bells & whistles. If you are a manufacturing business this is not for you as it doesn't extend that far offering only multi currency purchasing orders with conversion back to your native currency. I havent tried the forecasting yet as we havent enough history to give it the data to work trhough. Top marks Stockie, love your app.

Super responsive developers! This is a great app, and getting better and better as a replacement for the "other" Stocky that Shopify is sunsetting. We are making the switch, and every time we've reached out with a question or request for a new feature/fix we've gotten super quick responses. Glad to be making the switch!

Top customer service.

It's early days for us with the Stockie app, but so far the service has been exceptional with requests for report additions being dealt with, in a prompt + friendly manner. We had Cin7/DEAR for years, but eventually stopped the subscription as the cost combined with the fact we didn't need such a heavy duty inventory system for our size business meant it was time for a change. After researching several apps + platforms, Stockie was what we landed on - it offers all that we need + we're looking forward to building on the forecasting element as we progress with the app.

Great app with fantastic support and development. The forecast function is very good, it has a no-nonsense UI and straight forward settings. We were looking for a replacement for Stocky, which is discontinued by Shopify, to create purchase orders from demand forecasts and, this is the best alternative we found.

Stockie does exactly what it says it will do. For our store, it has helped us significantly with inventory tracking through their inventory forecasting so we know when to order more product before running out, as well as alerting us for low stock items so we can make sure to count them and not oversell. Also they have amazing customer support, I put in a feature request and a week later they implemented it which greatly improved our teams workflow. Can't recommend this enough!

Shopify kills off Stocky, so we looked for a replacement specifically for inventory predictions. Stockie is a great alternative. Clean interface, helpful support team and a great roadmap.
