The Variant Wizard + Swatch App works great. Solved an issue for us. We appreciate you guys.
Very good except ONE MAJOR ISSUE. It changes the theme product view. I have it as carousel, carousel with with thumbnails on mobile. It defualts it to grid, and bullet points on mobile, no way to change it, other than that, very good. But can't use it until fixed Thank you for your feedback — we really appreciate it! You can adjust the product image gallery settings within our app so it doesn’t default to a grid layout. If you’d like to use a carousel with thumbnails (including on mobile), you can configure this in the app settings by following this guide: https://help.productwiz.io/variant-wizard/faq/general#change-my-product-gallerys-settings The gallery layout can be customized separately for desktop and mobile, so you should be able to match your theme’s original carousel setup on both devices. If you’re still seeing it default to grid or bullet points on mobile, please reach out to me directly at jake@productwiz.io and I’ll be happy to take a closer look and help get this resolved for you.
Love this app! Top tier support too! The multi-color swatches are exactly what I needed for my store and this app delivered on them!
Really nice app to upgrade product page color swatches and sizes from the standard Shopify variants. Price is really good compared to other ones out there and the support is top notch! Jake is really responsive and answers inquiries fast. He helped me through some issues that involved needing code and I'm very appreciative he took the time to go back and forth with me to get it resolved. Highly recommend.
Dont have this app anymore but it keeps taking my money... I’m sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. I reviewed your case right away and issued you a full refund within two hours of receiving your message — it’s already been processed and should appear in your account within 7–10 business days. You uninstalled the app on October 13th, which is also when your subscription was automatically cancelled. However, since the uninstall happened during an active billing cycle, Shopify still applies the charge for that full cycle — which is what happened here. Our app uses Shopify’s billing system, so all charges are processed directly by Shopify, and we don’t have control over the timing or application of those charges. I have uninstalled this App months ago and they are still sending me bills. How an App can continue to bill me, at their most expensive plan, for months after I have unsintalled is beyond me. I have tried to contact them, no response so far. I have browsed their app for any indication that I have to unsubscribe prior to uninstalling, and there is none. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEVELOPER, THIS IS A SCAM. Thank you for your review. According to our records in Shopify Partners, your subscription was automatically cancelled after uninstalling our app on September 29th, 2025. We also show that you briefly reinstalled our app on October 6th, 2025, though no subscription plan was activated during that visit. Our app uses Shopify's billing system exclusively, which means billing automatically stops when you uninstall. We have a dedicated section in our app's billing page that explains this process. Since you mentioned uninstalling several months ago, I'd appreciate if you could share any documentation or screenshots showing an earlier uninstall date at jake@productwiz.io. DO NOT install this app. It completely broke my DAWN theme. Now I can't even apply a template to a product. It destroyed my code Hi there, I’m sorry to hear you ran into an issue with your Dawn theme. Our app is built using Shopify’s app embed system and doesn’t modify your theme’s code at all. We take great care to ensure compatibility with themes — including Dawn — and haven’t seen similar issues reported by other users. I downloaded this app and another BIG name app with 1000s of reviews. Variant Image Wizard had the app running for 90% of our site immediately. Their customer support responds very quickly and solved the rest easily. We're fully functional now. The other big name app, never worked, and customer support gave us excuses. Sometimes an app is an app but the people supporting the app is what matters. I'd recommend this app and this TEAM to anyone. 5-stars
Brilliant app that does exactly what I needed (Organise variant images to only show selected variant). Easy to use and integrated perfectly. Free plan that is actually usable and functional and very fair pricing on other plans when need more options.

Installed and configured in about 45 minutes. A fair price for the added features. Did the trick of adding multiple variant images.

This is the best variant/ Swatch app I've tried. It doesn't overcomplicate things, the UI is easy to understand, and it's great value for what it does. The customer support is also very efficient, and I definitely recommend it!

App was working great until recently. Now, any item not part of the first option group is showing unavailable. I did recently update to Ride v15, but even when I reverted back, to older versions (as far back as 11), it still did not work properly. The only way I was able to sell other variants was to oopt not to hide sold out variants. This was the main driver behind using this app. Thank you for your valuable feedback! We investigated the issue and were able to reproduce it on your Ride theme. We've been using this app for almost two years now. We are very satisfied with the app for several reasons: 1. We've been using Variant Image Wizard to streamline our product pages with the limitations that Shopify has on Variants. It has directly impacted our conversion rate in a positive manner, since customers can not only find what they want fast, but not have to scroll through irrelevant product photos now. Bonus: their support helped us identify an issue that we caused, and had us back up and running in 5 minutes. Keep up the great work team!

This app was exactly what we were looking for to be able to support different variant pictures and also customize how the variant picker shows. We rarely have any problems and when there are small issues to resolve, the support is extremely fast. This is one of the must have apps that we have and cannot live without!
Great app! I recommend this for all my clients. It's a really intuitive app which allows you to personalise how you display product options on product pages. Great customer support too who are always quick to respond and resolve any issues. Can highly recommend for anyone looking to customise their product pages even further.

The app is very simple to navigate and makes adding color swatches extremely easy. We ran into a single issue with our theme & the support team was very quick to respond, Jake helped me & was able to get the issue resolved in less than an hour. Customer care is obviously important to them & it shows. 10/10 on the app and service

I installed this app because allows the option to show only images for the selected variant, which was not possible on our chosen theme. The added bonus was that we could customise the swatches and image layouts to match our design exactly. I was especially impressed with the incredible help provided by the app staff. I got in contact a few times over the period of a week and Jake was always super responsive and helpful. 100% recommend this app if you need a little bit more functionality on your product pages.
This app works fantastic for both swatches and for multiple variant images. I love it...didn't find it to be super intuitive at first, but Jake was very patient with me and walked me through the process. The video helped a lot as well. Thanks so much!

Jake has been super helpful with installing this app for us x2. We installed it and then upgraded to a different theme, and Jake did both installs for us quickly and efficiently. Even though our new theme has better swatch options than the original, this app is even better. Definitely recommend!
The plugin is great, the handling is intuitive and super easy. I was looking for exactly such a plugin to sell product variants better and to give customers the best shopping experience. The support is faster than light and extremely polite and competent. I would recommend this plugin anytime.

Very useful app, works exactly as expected, and honestly very good, quick customer response. I had an issue where after the variant images were applied, the rounded corners of the images (part of the theme's design) were gone. They fixed that quickly. If I were to nitpick I'd say it could be faster. I'm moving over from another system and have thousands of photos to upload for nearly 100 variants of each product. Assigning them to the variants is a slow process, and a few times I got rate limited. But that's only if you have huge amounts of variants like me, otherwise I think the whole process should be very swift.
Very powerful and versatile app, it takes a moment of study to use it to the best of its potential. Great support!

Very beautiful plugin, I am using it both in the UK and Germany. When it doesn't work, just reinstall to your own theme. This plugin can batch change the pictures in swatch, which is very convenient. The customer response is also very fast, basically 12 hours to reply.

This app is super!!! We are not expecting for any free plan that provides both swatch images and variant images. So we installed one that with high ratings which charged $20+ per month for variant images and another one free app for swatches. It wasn't convenient to manage both and the charge of $20+ per month just for variant images without any customization seems ridiculous. We decided to uninstalled both apps and tried with Variant Wizard. Boom! Both solutions included! More funny and easy customization and pay much less!!! Sooooo satisfied with the results come out! Haven't requested any customer services yet but this app is already well built for retailers!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Great app! Does exactly what we needed (only show the variant images of the selected variant)! Needed help for some translation issue but support was excellent and it was resolved quickly! Then needed some more help later with something else and again, got a reply really quickly and it was resolved!
This is the greatest Shopify app ever. It transformed my shop, and each of my variants now have customized photos, making my store less confusing and much nicer to look at. I had a couple issues that I caused by messing up my theme code, and customer support got back to me and helped me with lightning speed and expertise. Thanks Jake!

We've used this app since launching our new website on Shopify and love how easy it is to use. Excellent App. Easy to use. Very customisable in terms of colours, fonts, and apperarance and discovered a few hacks to make loading products easier. Jake, my support person provided prompt easy to understand guidance and made the whole thing very easy. A+.
