What they don't tell you is that if you use this app, you cannot use any discounts. So, you can kiss all of your sales and marketing promotions you have good-bye. Absolutely, worthless if you want to do any other promotions or discounts at the same time.

Hi, Sorry for the problem you faced. Our logic behind Bundle product discount is by creating draft order otherwise you have to create duplicate product for it so in Shopify they are not giving option to add additional discount code in draft order. So please check this and let us know if you have any questions we are happy to assist you. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks and Regards, Support Team @ Thimatic

Had a few issues starting up, so just make sure you know what time zone you’re on when getting started for support. They were helpful once we started communicating, so they will definitely strive to help out. There’s a bit of functionality still being worked on that doesn’t work right now. There was no way to actually see what products had timers enabled, and bulk editing for variants only works for enabling pre-order, it crashes if you attempt to use the features that aren’t working yet. As long as you know what is still in work, they’re very helpful and it works within those current limitations. Once they get that functionality, it’ll be a 5 star rating.

2019 UPDATE: So we switched credit cards and had to restart the account up. When I checked it, the App would open up to the dashboard fine, but as soon as I paid and renewed my subscription and went to use it, I got a pop-up that stated it doesn't work with my browser and have reset my cache/history, etc... WOW, what a sham!!!! Still haven't implemented fixed for my concerns from last year... Too bad, they have something good going, but seems whoever is in charge over there just does not care!!!

Lately, I have noticed on every competition I’ve tested out or have by trying to enter via your email, it says "login to your existing account (email address) has already been used to log in to Gleam. Please Login to your linked account: Facebook", and it causes quite the confusion, people are thinking someone has logged in with their info somewhere else and now it's some type of spam trying to acquire their Facebook login info. The app has a great overall potential, but having asked for opinions, I have been told if you are a customer who is trying to sign up for the competition and this is seen, that is a huge red flag and they are thinking that someone has figured out their password and logged in somewhere else, or at least that is the senses from those I’ve asked. I brought this to Gleam's attention only to find out it's one of their common issues, and their response is simply, "If you don't like how we handle this, you're welcome to find another app." This shows me they just really don't care... Talk about crappy customer service. All I'm asking is to find a better way to reduce confusion for a better understanding of what's happening. If you have all these people bringing up the same issue enough you have to put a clarification on your FAQ page, then that is probably an indication that you should find a way to improve the issue. But, hey, I'm just a customer... Who am I to dare have a concern about the product? I've never dealt with a developer that comes off acting like they could care less about your issues, like this. Decent app with some issues that could be worked on if they cared, but horrible customer service that shows they just don't care what you think as a customer.

We do this for security purposes to protect the entrants, since they can enter many different Gleam campaigns from different businesses. Otherwise we risk allowing someone to login with Name + Email and having control over your social accounts. Sure, it causes some friction but persisting login across all campaigns ends up increasing overall conversion rates for all customers. Changing a mechanic this this wouldn't be trivial and we don't see any adverse impacts on conversion rates from doing so. Sorry for the poor experience, I do believe we've attempted to resolve concerns over email quite a few times :)

Their install links and instructions are garbage. It shows the app as not installed by a default banner even when it's installed, then once you dismiss it, you realize it's just a marketing banner to get you to pay for the install. The install links don't take you to the actual install page, and then it's spread between different links rather than simple step by step instructions like most other Developers. Jacked up my website and doesn't work, it shows as very simple code copy and pasting, but obviously there's more than it, and since everything is all over the place, who knows if I missed a step. Support says they'll probably get around to helping fix it in 2-3 days. Longest I've ever had to wait for support. Makes me appreciate other developers by far...

Had an issue with the switchover when the pricing was increased. The developer has reached out to address what happened and in the end they took the advice kindly and fixed the situation, and took the effort to show they really care to make things right, which is the best you can do in my book.

Ran into some issues initially with the App. For whatever reason, it wouldn't track commissions when switching browsers. I did a complete restart and cache/history clear on all browsers, and then my test orders went through. Initially there was a delay in support, but after making contact, they have been very responsive. The only thing it really needs further is to be able to change the Social Media icons for simplicity on the Affiliate's end (If it's not stupid simple, they won't use it we found out), so hopefully they can customize that or enable that option for the near future and I think this will be the best affiliate App available. So far, for it's features and simplicity of integration, it's the best thing going, and the pricing seems pretty fair for what we need.

It works, but kind of lacking. I tried throwing in a simple logo banner and instructions, but it had some issues displaying in other browsers. Basically, it does have a button that says link generator that's very simple, but it's not graphically intuitive, and for a few bucks more a month, there seems to be better out there for what we need at the moment. Really really wanted to like this App, I think with some tweaks it will be really good, but I think in the end, the affiliates will not be impressed with the lack of having social media sharing interfaces that the other apps have, people like having graphical instructions and simpler interfaces that give them exactly what they want to do without having to figure out or ask for help. I know it's easy to copy a link and paste it, but without being able to easily embed better graphics and instructions on the page itself like the App should have to begin with, I'm unable to do it on my own due to some browser display issues, so unfortunately it's not what we need right now. I'm hoping they'll work on those things and I think they'll have one of the best Affiliate apps out there.

This review is initially based off of what I am seeing and they are supposed to be reaching out to me soon to go over why they are using all orders to calculate the charge. At least they are responsive. I'll update as we work through this issue. I started this App up last week, and at least half of the orders were never placed when the App was being used, so that struck me as incorrectly counting orders towards charging a fee. I also place manual orders through our shipping App to ship company documents, as well as replacement orders, returns, etc, and those are not true customer placed orders, so I do not think it's fair to utilize this metric as a basis for charging and I hope they're willing to fix this or work out a better resolve, so we'll wait and see. Either way, I'll hear them out to see why in their app it says all orders for the entire month are used to calculate charges and see if there is a misunderstanding. Also, it is showing one email is responsible for clicking the link 39 times, so I am waiting to hear how that metric is calculated.

App is extremely buggy in most browsers, won't let me put images side-by-side and sizing doesn't come easy. Very little padding adjustment, huge gaps between items that you cannot adjust. Little support outside of normal business hours (Maybe I'm the only business owner that tried to modify a website during off hours?). Cannot duplicate a work space and it did not like even copying and pasting HTML from one section to another. After an entire day of finding different ways to do what normally would have taken me a couple hours, I was able to produce something that is functional. I'm giving it 3 stars only because I was able to get it working in the end, but it could use a lot of work to make it a much better product. I'll stick it out if they're willing to help work on making that product a great product.
