Amplified Email & Abandon Cart

The app stopped sending my abandonded cart emails after using this for over 10 years and i contacted them and they have not resolved the issue. the last message was 1st oct 2026 and they said they will get back to me and they never did.

The application is massively overpriced.

I cancelled this application yesterday, December 17th, they billed me today December 18th!!!!

I signed up for this app at the $29/month plan and was shocked to discover they later increased the subscription price without any notice and without me even using the app. I didn’t receive a single value or benefit, yet they continued charging me for months at a higher rate I never approved. When I reached out, support admitted they could only refund a small portion (three months) as an exception, even though the majority of the charges were never authorized in the first place. Their explanation was that “the responsibility for managing subscriptions falls to the account owner,” which feels extremely unfair when the pricing was changed on their end without clear communication. To make things worse, the app showed up as “unsupported” in Shopify, which made it impossible to manage or cancel properly. Shopify is aware of this issue, but the app developer still refused to take responsibility for the unapproved charges. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. If you’re considering installing this app, please keep a close eye on your billing—because they do not make pricing changes transparent, and you may end up paying for services you never used. You’ve actually been a customer for several years, and all billing has always been fully authorized through Shopify. We only charge what Shopify approves and processes on your behalf, based on your usage. Our pricing has remained the same since early 2022, and we have not changed or increased your plan during that time. Like most marketing automation apps on Shopify, billing is based on the size of a store’s contact list. Over the years, your contact list grew, and billing correspondingly grew to the correct tier. These tiers have been publicly available and unchanged for more than three years. Regarding the “unsupported” message you saw in your Shopify admin, this is due to our app currently using Shopify’s REST API for certain endpoints. Shopify is phasing out REST sometime next year, but it continues to function normally until that deadline. We already have a full migration to GraphQL on our roadmap. This display label does not affect the functionality of the app in any way, and merchants continue to use all features without issue. As for the refund, our standard policy allows for a one-month courtesy refund. In your case, we went above and beyond and approved a three-month refund, which is significantly more than what most Shopify apps or even Shopify themselves would offer when the charges were authorized and ongoing for years. We genuinely care about your experience, and we tried to be as fair and accommodating as possible. We recognize and empathize with your situation. Over time bots had been padding our email list with fake customers (and we did not know it). When we discovered the issue, we had over 900 bad email addresses in our database causing a huge bounce rate. Working with the team at Amplified was the solution. After identifying the problem they assisted us in removing all the fake customers from our email list, a huge help! We are now sending emails again to our customers and looking good. The staff at Amplified were professional and immediately took action to help solve our issue. Thanks again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I must've downloaded this app right at the beginning which was just for abandoned carts, and then it grew into this full flown self sufficient app, which is so simple to use and i have never even considered a replacement for this app, because it does so much. Great support staff who are always available to solve any issue.

Works pretty well, great for abandoned cart flows. We keep having the issue of campaigns not sending out as they should, though. edit: changed to 5 stars, as campaign delivery issues appear to be solved. Super easy to use when creating campaigns, good templates and fast customer service.

At first, I had a few issues with the app, but Judith Castro went above and beyond to ensure all my concerns were addressed. I am very thankful that Judith stayed consistent with my issues and turned this into a positive experience. The customer service is excellent, and so is this application itself. I switched over from Klaviyo to Amplified. My emails are easily and super quickly delivered to my customers. As someone who is not an expert in graphic design, I rely heavily on templates. Amplified has tons of templates to start with that are easily customizable and visibly appealing to my customers. Even if you are starting from scratch, it is straightforward to create an email. My only regret with this application is that I have not utilized it enough in the many months I have had it. I highly recommend this email marketing platform and am glad I found it. Didn't know about the switch from Consistant Cart to Amplified but tech support help me get our old cart email back and running.

This app and company has gone massively downhill. When we first installed this app years ago it was a cart recovery tool. Since then it has been reinventing itself as other things relating to marketing but whilst doing do they have messed up on more than one occasion. They moved us to some horrendously priced plan when they made the first big shift, we had to complain and apply for a refund, we were then reverted back to our old plan. The second time we had an issue they had again upgraded the software, but when they did this they reverted our account back to default cart recovery, removing our custom messaging and colour schemes without our knowledge. Most recently we have found that the app was blocking our add to cart button and making it perform poorly on mobile, we have just deleted this app and all our problems are solved, the add to cart is working again, and this horrible app is now gone. We would advise to look elsewhere for cart recovery!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. You created a perfect cart abandoned email and send it to your customers. But you DO NOT HAVE ANY DATA about your emails and conversion info. I even made my own excel form to ask their developers to send me the data I was supposed to have. DO NOT USE THEM. Terrible experience.

Great app and service. Generates a lot of our retargeting revenue. We had an issue with billing and their customer service team sorted it out very quickly.

Many steps to set up, trial time is very short 3 days..., I need to ask them for 15 more days were the app just recover 60us, then was I was ready to uninstall I realized the trial ended, and automatically they charged for the second more expensive plan of 99us per month not the basic one at 29us, so I needed to request a refund, be aware of this please, so you don't have the same surprise I had.

The user experience is very good, most of the problems can be solved in time, and discard the order email recall effect is good However, we really hope to add data information to the marketing email. The experience of email marketing is not good. We can only see the number of sent goods, but we can not check the click situation of inserted goods in the email content and the subsequent conversion situation, which is very important for us!

While I do get some additional details on cart abandons, the app has not resulted in any conversions as yet, which is disappointing. I feel there is a minimum threshold of site visits over which the app delivers results, and that should be shared upfront. On the positive side, it helped me identify the issue of bogus ATCs done by my marketing agency to inflate results!

We have been using this app for 6+ months for our abandon cart and checkout recovery. Great results! We are now starting to use more of the other features. Customer service has always been great. Previously we used another app with poor results and cost a lot more.

App works great. But their new billing is not worth it. They charged us based on the amount of contacts we have in our database, not sales recovered. So we got charged based on sales we had years ago and still have the contact information in our database. This app has nothing to do with those sales and it is not worth it.

Judith's support was brilliant - we got charged for the monthly plan when we were signed up for the free plan and she reversed it promptly, as well as giving a quick rundown on the difference between the paid and free plans. Very quick, very responses, and positive outcome for all involved!
