Doesn't work at all - there is no dashboard, it's all gobbledygook code. Was this just a spam app to harvest my data?

Love - love - love this app. I set up a nicely-designed template once -- years ago now! Anytime I need to update with the latest Shopify or ShopCash code, or change the offers/content, I just re-export the code and cut-and-paste. They did a lot of thoughtful things to make this as fast and easy as possible, like a shortcut button to the exact right Shopify screen, plus a regular "footer" content that automatically updates across all emails at once.

Really appreciated the quick response time and thorough customer service. I also really like the image swatch options and the bundling capability. This was a big improvement over our last product options app, and I like that it doesn't change my theme's code.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the image swatch and bundling features, and that the app integrates smoothly without altering your theme’s code. We’re here to make sure everything continues to work perfectly for you—don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! Best wishes, AvisPlus Product Options team

The app updates the themes okay, but there is so little transparency or customer input on what the theme updates are going to be. There's no way to upvote features or make suggestions. And the customer service just sucks. If you ask for help with a problem, like the fact that their theme doesn't support Google Review Rich Snippets, they tell you to hire a custom coder to fix their theme. A suggestion box would be so much more gratifying. I don't always need an instant fix, but I'd like to know what kind of improvements they want to make in the future.

Hi Walnut team! We are so happy to hear that Theme Updater is part of your theme's updating process! We have sent you a couple emails and responded directly to your initial ticket for your questions around your theme specifically, but have not received any responses back - we hope that our attempts to reach out to you are received! The best way to learn more about your theme, where theme input is collected, where to place suggestions, and all other theme related questions, is through our support team. We always are looking for ways to improve our themes, and input from our merchants is an important piece in that process for us. All the best, Out of the Sandbox

We really appreciate this app and are glad it's part of the free ecosystem of Shopify apps and add-ons. Customers use it frequently and we can set our hours and auto-replies, which is important as a small business.

Update: I got this app to import my Wordpress blog posts into Shopify. I tried three other apps that all do the same thing, and this one imported past posts the best: the articles rendered well and included all photos. However for my purposes, unlike the other apps, it assumes that you'll be dissolving your Wordpress blog after importing and cannot sync updates or import articles automatically going forward, and so does not include canonical links. If I want to keep the Wordpress blog active, I have to add this to my task list to re-import whenever I update or write new posts.

This app was really buggy for me and didn't work on Safari. At first it only imported 10 articles, but after contacting support they told me to change some default settings in Wordpress and it was able to import all my articles. It's too bad those setting changes weren't in the instructions. It was a nailbiter, because I only had 72 hour window that I had to pay up-front with the app and the support case took a day or two, although support was pleasant to work with. None of the imported articles have any pictures even though Wordpress hosts them all, so I don't fully get why I would want this app at all.

Hi, I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. From your description it looks like you missed setting things up correctly. When you have a moment can you confirm one setting in your WordPress admin for me? WordPress sites set their RSS feed syndication settings to only send 10 posts by default. To update your RSS settings, go to Settings > Reading and change 'Syndication feeds show the most recent' to allow all of your posts in your feed (BlogFeeder needs access to all posts to import them). At the same time, you may want to ensure that you allow the full text in your RSS feed. Update: On checking our logs I can see you have 300 posts already imported. Would you mind letting us know if you require further assistance?

I thought this was an app actually created by Mailchimp that would use the pop-up form I designed in Mailchimp. Instead it is a third-party app that required me to design a new pop-up form using their templates. If that's what you're looking for, it seemed to work ok but I didn't like their template choices. Using Mailchimp's logo as their icon is disingenuous and confusing.

So far, so good! I installed this map for the Heatmap functionality and it's already proving useful for figuring out ways to tweak my pages. The backend is easy to use and I really appreciated the 15 minute orientation call. I didn't know that it also had chat and polling functionality, which are two useful features that I had planned on adding later.
