They will deny most, if not all of your claims even with a signed proof of delivery, call it a "commercial dispute" despite the item being signed at the delivery address, and charge you for it. In the event you corner them with evidence and finally get them to approve a claim, they will say you have overdue invoices, depsite being on auto-pay, use the balance on the approved claim to "balance" the overdue invoices. Very resonable rates for peace of mind to weed out fraudulent orders. Very few have slipped through and when they did clear.sale covered us with no hassle. Attentive on the occasion we resubmit an order that was declined that we believe to be valid. Nothing but a great experience with this insurance against the fraudsters.

Support is very difficult to get in touch with, everything feels like a sales pitch rather than helping existing customers. They take a cut from every transaction despite not providing coverage for every transaction (transactions over a certain value are not protected even though you get charged for them). Responses are taking longer and longer to come through and false positives have increased making it difficult to justify this service. We appreciate your candid input—it helps us identify where improvements are needed. Update: 12/1/2025: Still no contact from Clearsale. Even though they were going to "Escalate" to the head of their customer service on 11/07/25. Still no contact about getting reimbursed, no coverage for the fraud that THEY said was OK to send. Do not use this service...It is a complete scam! This app is a scam! After more than 4 years of having this app, we received our very first chargeback and have had little to no response from Clearsale. When they do respond, they are simply copy/paisting responses. They give you the runaround when pushing for reimbursement for a chargeback that THEY approved, even after you load up all the documents to their un-user friendly portal. Now I'm trying to cancel the service and can't get anyone to respond. The chargeback was only for a $25.00 sale...Could you image if it was something of high value? I just can't believe we wasted all this money each money thinking we were protected. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I strongly advise anyone considering ClearSale to think twice before signing up. My experience with this company has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. They promised to protect my business from fraudulent transactions and assured me of secure, guaranteed sales. Instead, they failed to deliver on those promises. ClearSale took a significant amount of money from my account, yet when fraud actually occurred, they didn’t stand behind their guarantee or reimburse the losses. Communication was poor, and their customer service was completely unhelpful — every time I reached out, I was met with delays and excuses instead of real solutions. This company did not protect my business as advertised and left me feeling scammed. Service is absolutely horrible. Asked to cancel some orders from cover and I was lied to about how many orders was 'not identified' but I showed them clearly we have been charged for them. And then we went on for about a full month of me asking for information of how the charged was calculated and everytime they try and send the document the link was broken, the request was blocked or some issue was happening where I cannot get access to the document. This is really starting to become a scam and hiding behind poor customer service will still charging me $2-3,000 every month. I was talking to Monalisa and she keeps reassuring me they are working asap and will fulfil my request but she keeps sending me broken links and leads me around in circles. Its been over 3 months since they said my chargeback was approved for refund. Kept telling me its the next payout, but its starting to get old. Messaged them 1 months ago on an update, and was ignored until today explaining reason codes which was already provided and approved. I'm writing this review on my first day using the service. My first impression is simply GREAT! Setting up and integration of service were so easy and straight forward. Then I had an issue with an order not submitted to Clear Sale for review. As soon as I emailed the customer service, I saw a lot of communication back and forth among customer service, technical support and sales to fix the issue and give me a quick decision. I realized the agent Kaio and analyst Yasmin did great job to coordinate among all departments and prioritize my issue till I got a resolution within few hours. I'm really impressed!! We signed up with ClearSale in March of 2022. We have paid their monthly service fee for over two years. In Jan. of this year (2024) we had our first chargeback of $137. ClearSale approved the transaction, so we thought we were covered. We submitted the requested documentation for chargeback reimbursement. When submitting a chargeback their client portal states a response will be provided "within hours or up to 7 days." We didn't receive a response or update for 16 days and when we did, our chargeback claim was denied with no explanation provided. We asked several times for an explanation and the only answer provided was, not all necessary information was submitted correctly. Ultimately, Clearsale offered to stand behind their 100% chargeback guarantee, however the story does not end there. We sent no less than a dozen emails asking about our reimbursement. We have been given many excuses as to why the chargeback has not been refunded. Typically, their email will state "reimbursement will be issued in the next payment cycle" and when the next payment cycle comes around there will be another excuse. After three months we finally received our refund however we have lost confidence in ClearSale and can no longer continue with their service. This is literally a trash company with as trash team that misleads stores into believing that they're covered from chargebacks when they really aren't. I am so disappointed in the entire team. They even ignored my emails when I requested to cancel the service. BEWARE! Do not believe them. It's BS.

I am not sure why this app has not been downloaded hundreds of times. it is hands down the best fraud app on Shopify, I tried several that were rubbish. this is the real deal used by some major companies like Disney. price is cheap per transaction, no monthly fees. support 5 stars, I was onboarded almost instantly. I was having major issues with fake orders, now I sleep well knowing the best of the best are on it, and even if one does slip through I am covered. anyone who is in a similar position to me, needing professional fraud software for a great price, this is the best option on Shopify by a country mile. Do not waste your time on the others, I did and all have limitations only this one is the complete package run by a true fraud organization, not just some developers who have made a fraud Shopify app, major difference.
