This is not only an exceptional app, but the team are SO responsive. Just had an issue there and it was resolved in under 15 minutes from first contacting them, that's mad-fast!
We use this app on multiple stores, and rarely if ever have any issues. If we ever do have a problem they fix it for us immediately. Customer service is easily reachable, fast, and polite. Highly recommend.
for us is the best!, we have years working with magic zoom plus. it still looks modern and works perfect after all this time. but.. this app has one hidden treasure: their customer support is AWESOME. super fast, people wanting to help and make much more than necessary to help you every single time. You Guys ROCK, thank you very much!!!!!!!
Absolut schneller und freundlicher Support.
Could not get it working. It loads in very slow and wonky. Support is pretty much useless. They sent "it's fixed" multiple times without actually fixing anything

Hello GlassStaff, We're sorry the gallery didn't load as expected. There is some JavaScript on your Product page which slows down firing DOM ready/load events and delays the gallery initialization. We couldn't locate the exact part of the Theme's code which causes this but we think we've identified it. Can we contact your Theme's developer so that we can fix the issue? Hoping to hear from you soon... Thanks!
May, 2025: I had a bad bug with this app after updating my theme version. Magic Zoom took responsibility and worked with me on the theme consistently. Their level of support is very significant to the relation of their app. Communication was quick, fixes were quick, and their effort was at its best. So I recommend this app not only for its functionality, but also the support that integrates with its functionality. With a more complicated custom set up like mine, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else to get the same effects as the Magic Zoom app provides. You can see below that I've had this app since 2018. So that is 7 years. They have always answered my occasional call (1-3 times a year max). Very happy with their unbiased, unconditional, and dedicated help. 2018: Great app, great initial support. This company set up my optimizations perfectly after a little back and forth with instruction via e-mail. I love the ease of zoom and magnify on this app and it works on any kind of image with the right setup from support. That alone gives it 5 stars.
Besides being a great app, the support team at Magic Zoom Plus is phenomenal. We had a problem with the app conflicting with a part of the products section. After contacting their support, they quickly logged in and fixed the problem. I am very impressed by their quick and thorough customer support
LAST EDIT: After receiving a new message from the support, I realized that the mistake was mine. I had ticked the retina image switches for the zoom and the gallery which had caused my images to display too small. All fixed now and the app is back on our Website. Many thanks to Paula for her help! I decide"d to keep the entire review as it is as it may help other people who may face the same issue ;) This app is great! EDIT: I’m disabling the app today while concerns #2 and #3 are being addressed. However, the way my images are displayed on click is the real deal breaker. When the gallery opens, the images appear even smaller than in the initial view. Unfortunately, this is completely counterproductive and pushes visitors to close the gallery. I still don’t understand why the app can’t display images the way Shopify does natively. While Shopify’s approach sometimes enlarges images too much (depending on the original size), at least visitors get a proper zoom when they click. It’s a shame because otherwise, this app is very well done and probably ideal for businesses that can share full-resolution images without concerns about counterfeiting. INITIAL REVIEW: I have been using this app for a couple of years now and I'm globally very satisfied! It does what it says and doesn't slow down our Website. To top it off, it's super fairly priced with a one-time payment! Only missing features to make it perfect are: - the ability to zoom expand beyond the actual size of the image (like a digital zoom effect). Because if your images are not big enough, the expanded view makes no difference with the initial size. - a feature to force all images to display at the same size in the gallery view - a feature to display the image captions in the gallery (not when zoomed or expanded)

Hi My Retro Poster! We're pleased to say that thanks to your feedback, we've added these new features to the Magic Zoom Plus app: 1. When small product images are used, they will always show as 800px width in the enlarged view. 2. If a gallery contains different sized images, you can enable the new 'Square images' option and a 1:1 aspect-ratio will be applied. This will prevent jumping when you switch between items. Thanks again!
The app is really good and the support team has been very helpful. only this is I would love if they can implement adding video onto the extended view it would be so helpful.
Works in Impulse theme, but doesn't seem to work in Influence theme.

Hello Resham Shilpi Samabaya Mahasangha! Magic Zoom Plus installs automatically 99% of the time. Please approve the Collaborator request we've sent to your store and we'll help you. Thanks!

Hello Starlust! Thanks for reporting the compatibility issue between Magic Zoom Plus and VF Image Resizer. We're really sorry the issue has effected your SEO rating. We'd love to help you resolve this issue. Please send us your Collaborator request code and we'll send a request to your store: https://www.magictoolbox.com/contact/ Thanks!
Brilliant! I installed it with the click of a button and it worked immediately. It has improved the look of the product pages astronomically. Easy settings if you want to refine the look. It also fixed a previous product image issue where when clicking on it loaded the image into the parent browser tab. It looks much better than it did before. Had a little teething issue to begin with and support was very quick to respond and resolved it very promptly. Highly recommended. 5 Stars !!
Updating my review since MZP tech support fixed everything that was not working and in fact made it function even better than I expected! I've been using this for a couple of months now and it's perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and my customers love it. Great tech support and customer service

We're really sorry your product page layout changed. The app uses a gallery layout, with thumbnails, so if your page uses a grid layout, then it'll change. You can disable the app then ask our team to customise it the way you'd like it to be. Our reply was slower than usual as it was a Sunday when you emailed us but we'd love to hear from you again and configure the app to your exact needs.
Their customer service is SO prompt and helpful!! We recently had a technical issue and they fixed it within 24 hours. Other apps take days.... Really love this app!! I do wish they had a direct chat button (vs e-mail) but understand why they don't. Love this app!
Just installed this app to Minimal theme in Shopify. Install process was very clear along with what to expect during each step. My products immediately have the very nice zoom-in magnifier so the details of the images are available without having to have all the extra close up photos. I also love the thumbnail carousel options. The one time purchase price is a great deal and refreshing compared to all the subscription based apps that I stay away from for the most part. If the details in your product is a selling aspect this app is 100% worth it.
Great App and Great very Responsive Support, that does not only understand their own app, but also Shopify as a whole, which is important when it comes to bugfixing or tweaking the app to make it fit your style or needs. Highly recommended. And as others have mentioned, you purchase a ONE TIME COMMERCIAL LICENSE. NO BS monthly fees like with 99% of the apps on Shopify.
I have been using this app for many years to improve the visual experience of our images and it delivers. Only recently did I need to reach out for support to make a couple of improvements and the support I have received from Igor has been excellent, Fast responses and custom improvements to suit out needs were implemented super quick. This app is GREAT value for money and well worth every cent. AAA+++
App works very poorly on mobile. We reached out to the app support for assistance. They said it was working correctly. It still doesn't work on mobile, it makes the product page seem broken. I followed up with support and didn't hear back. These matters are quite urgent as a broken website lis an uwful user experience. We lost sales while this was installed. Had to remove the app. Very unfortunate experience.
Developer reply ·
Hello ANDI, We're really sorry that you're seeing an issue on mobile. You've been using Magic Zoom Plus since November 2020 - did the problem start only on Tuesday, when you changed your theme? We can definitely make it work on your new theme. Igor, our support team member is waiting to help. He's in Ukraine and normally replies within a couple of hours but due to the war it could take a day or so. Please provide us access to your store and we'll solve it. Thanks!
really good support and it improves the image quality. Its a good addition to shopify. If any problem they fix it imediately! so good
Awesome app, awesome customer support! Definitely recommend using it. It is super user friendly and easy to use.
Without out a doubt, this is among the most powerful apps available. The only thing perhaps better is their support. Their expertise in Shopify is extensive and goes beyond just the app which is why it works so well.
This is by far, the BEST app available for zooming in on images. Works perfectly and truly shows the images in high detail. This app allows you to see exactly how it is going to work on your site before you buy. A very small watermark is placed over the images in the trial mode and the purchase removes the watermark. This worked perfectly for us because we were able to see how it really performed. Plenty of options to choose from. I love, love, love how this app has a one-time only charge. (We try to avoid apps with reoccurring monthly fees) This app really took our store to the next level!! We would give this app 10 stars if possible :)
An amazing APP and an unbelievably helpful support team! Products showing beatifully and the team helped me to tweak until I got the perfect images. Would def. recommend this.
Quickly installed and we were off. Nice feature and easy to set up after installation. We like it a lot and hope it helps with sales ***Update***Since we installed the app, we've added two customizable templates for products. We noticed that the zoom feature wasn't working with the new templates. We knew the coding needed to be added to the 2 new templates. I sent an email inquiry with my issue yesterday, they asked to be added to the staff account, and within 24 hours they took care of my issue. The 2 new templates are using the zoom feature perfectly. It's nice to know that with the initial fee, there is technical support for the future and that Magic Toolbox is striving to make the feature useable for everyone. Thank you!
Easy to install, and a beautiful solution to our needing a zoom feature on our website. I loved that we could test it out first, and that it's a one-time purchase rather than a monthly subscription model. Seamless transition from desktop to mobile view, and virtually "invisible" - we love it. Thank you so m much! See it live on our site: inklingspaperie.com
Great app to enhance the buyer experience. Support has been astounding when fixes were requested. Super fast results. Great job! Thank you!
Igor was very quick in response and fixing the issues with the app. :) Very nice customer support ..
Please help! App messed up the placement of my product thumbnail images! Customer support, please help me! www.dania-shinkar.com
Developer reply ·
Hi Dania! The position thumbnail images appear on a theme are sometimes different to the position Magic Zoom Plus displays thumbnails. But it's no problem, by letting us know we can reposition the thumbnails for you. I see Igor has repositioned your thumbnails. Is everything now okay, Dania? Please let us know if we can help you in any way. Thanks!
App really adds all the functionality I need for photo zoom and 360 Spin. Although i wish there was a way to change the look/text of "360". Customer service is amazing as well!
Developer reply ·
Hello Modern Studio Equipment! We're thrilled our app provides all the functionality you need. If you'd like to change the 360 thumbnail, there are a choice of 12 designs for you to choose from in the 'Edit settings' option. Prefer the Hint text to look different? Let us know! We'll add a little bit of magic (code) to your page to create the look you want. https://www.magictoolbox.com/contact/ We're here to help!
Fantastic functionality. Super simple installation without any code modifications. Fantastic support when I had a question - even on a Sunday! I also love the single payment licensing option rather than ANOTHER silly monthly fee. Brilliant! Stop browsing your options and try this now.
Super easy install, works as good as amazon zoom, And has not had any issues at all! Great job guys, I will definitely be recommending.
Great app to use for a zoom feature on Shopify. Support was quick to resolve an issue. We recommend this app.
Love this app and customer service. We paid a Shopify expert (eCommerce Guru) $175 to code images and never got it working right. Magic zoom Plus has some great features right out of the box and Igor helped us to alter the app for our coding of multiple images per variant. Very pleased with the speed of loading images with this app. SIRV 360 images are a great plus, too. Just be aware of the data limits. They will deactivate your 360 images if data transfers exceed your plan.
Developer reply ·
Hi Kalena Instruments Hawaii, thank you for your kind comments. We love Magic Zoom Plus (and Igor) too! Just to clarify your point about Sirv... If an account exceeds its data transfer allowance, a 30-day temporary allowance is automatically given. During that time, email notifications will be sent to the account owner(s) letting them know they have exceeded their Plan's transfer allowance. (Warning notifications are also generated daily and displayed on the Notifications page of each account.) This additional time allows the account owner(s) to either choose a new Plan or delete some files. To resume Sirv spins being served to your product pages, please either delete some files or upgrade your Plan at your earliest convenience. Thanks!
What an amazing app. My mobile images would blur anytime someone zoomed in, but with their featured image zoom tool, this was no longer an issue. Didn't have to reformat or reupload any images either. Thank you so much!
Love the app! Easy to use and configure. Different settings for desktop and mobile behavior. Images loading super fast.
Our product images load so much faster on mobile devices with the app. My team will save valuable amounts of time as we remove from our workflows our old editing and formatting processes that were applied to all digital images of our products prior to uploads. Thank you for creating such a great app!
Not only is Magic Zoom a great tool that lets shoppers see your items up close, if you have an issue, Igor and team is on it to give you assistance. I had a conflict with this tool and another app, and he had it fixed within 24 hours. Amazing app and amazing service. Thank you!
Just an update to mention the continued fantastic service that I continue to get from Igor. After using it for 5 years and on 2 different platforms, I still love the way this app works, the extremely fast support responses and the willingness to quickly implement minor customization requests. Thank you! Love this app! I'm using it together with Magic Scroll and it looks amazing, especially on mobile. Igor is always quick to respond. Very happy.
Igor was phenomenal in helping me achieve everything I wanted in both appearance and use of video. I had to go back and forth with tweeks here and there over a course of about 4 days, but he took care of everything each time and made the changes that I requested until it functioned and looked just the way I wanted it. Extremely great support!!! A++++
Easy adjustment and good work! You can change your shop better by this. One time charge is also better for managing Shopify store.
This app is awesome and does exactly what we needed. It has no glitches and a ton of settings, both for desktop and mobile versions. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is looking to spruce up their images and control multiple images.
The app is easy to work with, and the developers are very helpful and quick. If there's a problem with installation you just ask them and they help you sort it out. Update: Again, really amazed by how nice and helpful the developers are. Needed help and reached out, they helped me almost immediately. Thank you!
The app is just what we were looking for. We had some minor issues with our theme and this app but the support fixed very quick and was very kind. 5 Stars and thumb up!
I've used MagicZoomPlus for years on ecommerce sites, and was very happy to find it not only integrated but retaining it's large list of built-in capabilities and flexibility. If you want to showcase your products, this is the app for you.
Does what it says it does. We used the zoom and the 360 function. Brilliant - We do not need to hire a developer to come up with this function
AMAZING APP! Although this app did not install with just one click (I have a theme I purchased an installed which may have caused this) I did have a support representative set this app up for me very quickly and it is now working perfectly! There is so many customizations for this app you will get the results your are looking for guaranteed. For example, my team wanted the image to only zoom upon clicking and to zoom only in a full screen setting with a black transparent back ground. AND I RECEIVED EXACTLY THAT! I even have the capability to switch through images by just hovering over the other views which is just perfect. Thank you! The license is definitely worth it! View my amazing full screen view here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5W7L9kYrcmZ
I've been searching for good image zoom capabilities for years. This plug in gave me exactly what I wanted immediately. Also, it does not allow people to download and save my images which is nice.
Developer reply ·
We're thrilled Magic Zoom Plus is exactly what you wanted! We love the 'Right-click on menu' option too. It's important all Shopify store owners have complete control over their images.
Excellent support! They were able to respond fast and was able to set up the app without any issues. Love how the site looks now with this!
Without question the best product zoom app out on Shopify. Extremely customisable and support was unbelievably fast. App allows Desktop, Tablet and Mobile zoom, Pop-out zoom also available and makes the site extremely professional, super functional and intuitive. Trial is also available which was perfect. Not one thing I can fault.
The support was very helpful and quick. Highly recommended. The app works great! Its a wonderful tool.
Highly recommend this app and the creators. I first installed the full version on another shop, and it worked perfectly so I tried to install it on this shop, but it wasn't compatible with our theme. The developers were able to quickly install it manually, and get everything working. They even worked together with the creators of another app we are using that was causing conflict with this one, and they went the extra mile to have both apps working perfectly. Very satisfied. I think this is a must-have app for any shop. The ability to add videos to the gallery is also a plus. But another great thing is the ONE TIME payment. For sure getting this for all our future shops...

We're very happy to help! Thanks for choosing our image zoom app for your Shopify store.
This is one of the best apps on Shopify. The functionality is flawless, the design is beautiful. I was amazed when I first installed it. Even better - their support is exceptional! I requested some tweaks to the layout, function - they did it all. Very highly recommend!
Developer reply ·
Thank you so much! We're always ready to help and our whole team is over the moon that you found it flawless and beautiful :)
Amazing App, looks just like a professional websites zoom i've noticed on other websites. Best Zoom app on shopify
I used this app and was first upset thinking magic zoom plus and magic360 can in one purchase but with the customer service being as amazing as it is, the plugin working great, and it being a one time fee...... I regret nothing. I highly recommend magic zoom plus over any other plugin.
App works very well. Support was excellent and could fix issues with theme in little time. Used in www.notasdecata.pe
Thank you for quick and helpful customer support.
Installation of the feature is pretty painless. Unless it currently does not support your theme. In my case, my theme was built in-house. I sent an email to support and less than 24hours later it was working. Igor, one of the co-founders helped me with all my styling needs and functions. I don't think I can recommend this enough if you are looking for a zoom feature on your website. Smart app. Even smarter and talented team. Get it!
Love this app, one off purchase and we have not had any issues with it.
I highly recommend this app. The installation could not be easier, and the interface with your site is flawless.
This is an excellent app that increases the look and feel of our site. The hover and zoom feature is easy to use. We appreciate the one-time fee. Thank You!
Simple to use, great app. I would recommend this to anyone.
Great App! We recommend it for all our clients. www.echic.com.au
Great App, easy to use and to set-up, great value. I am using it for https://www.home-beddings-and-curtains.com Cheers,
One thing that Shopify doesn't tell you when you choose a theme is that there is no automatic zoom in function already installed. Now you would think this comes standard with any website but apparently not! I installed this app months ago and is working well. Has definitely made an impact on usability on the site, every website must have a zoom in function so that potential customers can view the product well before buying. I mean we all do it when browsing other sites! This particular one was what I needed because, not only is there a magnifying option but also a zoom in window which I could't find with the other apps. It's also a once off fee, so no monthly bills to pay. One thing I have to mention is that they should make it more explicit that with the free option you will see the watermark/logo. And this logo was live until I paid for it within 5 minutes of installing. You can check out the real thing in action on my website.
Most flexible product image tool on Shopify! You get to download the app and test it out for yourself on mobile and desktop. There is a logo on the top of the image until you purchase the product. When compared to other offerings this is by far the best and most flexible. Very easy to customize the settings to my liking. My only recommendation to Magic Zoom is to add a feature that would allow mobile users to "pinch zoom" on the photo.
Great app but even better support. Igor is awesome! I've gone back to this guy for little tweaks when I upgrade my theme and he's on it so quickly and never disappoints. I would highly recommend this app not only for the great product but sensational support. This is truely great value and a must have for any shop.
Fantastic App with excellent support. Highly recommended.
This company and app is amazing. Magic Zoom Plus was exactly what i was looking for. Magic zoom also went one step further and helped me with tech support for my shopify theme. Thank you.
Great App for image viewing. Super easy to use and install and great for customers to get a better view of the products.
We love the Magic Zoom Plus. It's been the perfect solution for us. We didn't want to change our theme as we're really happy with everything else but needed to be able to let our customers zoom on mobile. This is just perfect. I also asked for help to zoom on another tab of ours and they came straight back and made it possible for no extra charge. Wonderful customer service! www.tulio.com.au
Worked great! Also, great customer service. I had a minor issue and they took care of it right away.
Had a big issue with it where it would not uninstall. They reached out to me always professionally and politely to help me solve the issue. 5 stars for staying kind even when I was frustrated and not so nice
The best for the image viewing.Only one issue is some problem with the Retina theme integration.Viewing video in image group has some problems.
Had some issues in the beginning but after about a month they were able to fix it.
*Updated Review Feb 10, 2016 Contacted by Jake, a second rep from their customer service department, a couple weeks after canceling and was very pleased with his help. He installed the app for us and customized it as well. He was quick to respond, followed-up with each email, and was very thorough. Much better customer service than the first rep. Very pleased with the app now. Jan 8, 2016 Unfortunately, not the best experience for us. We've never left a negative rating before, however, we paid for the upgrade and have had nothing but problems. Tried contacting the support team, received an automatic reply email stating the response time was "52 hours" - not the greatest customer service.
A 'must' for any product / item based web site. Excellent!
Great zoom tool for a cheap one-time licensing fee. Great job.
Great app, never had any problems with it. However, I had to contact support due to Shopify changing the variant images feature, and Igor responded very fast and had it fixed within 4 hours.
Excellent app, easy to configure (so many options!) & great support too. If you're after something to really enhance your customer experience, then this is a must have.
Great app and fast customer service. I would definitely recommend this product. With so many ways to customize, it fits the look and feel of my website.
This is a very good app! Has quiet a few customization options to fine tune it per your requirements. Once the images for a product load up, the zoom in feature works very well on mouse scroll over. If you are into selling products which are bound to cause customer queries on details, invest in this and save your effort.
Worth every penny. Zoom feature to me is crucial to ecommerce.
I've been using this app in my store for several months now and love it. It gives the customer the option to get a closer look at the product by zooming in, and also allows to take off the branding, and some other customization. Great app!
