I subscribed to the €9 plan and was very disappointed. The app provides almost no real value, just extra script bloat. You’re constantly pushed to upgrade to more expensive plans. After installing, I had problems with Google Merchant Center – newly added products stopped syncing. For me, this was a clear drawback and created more work than benefits. Not recommended!
Good, but keeps crashing now and not always available
This app is simple to use and most importantly allows for SEO optimization with greatly reduced effort. This is a valuable app, freeing up hours to put toward other productive business activities. I have been using this app for a couple of years and whenever I have needed help or guidance I have received prompt responses. Most of the time, this app just does its job and I don't have to think about it. I highly recommend this app.
Easy to use after the initial set up and watching the how to videos. Makes it super easy for technically challenged users like me to fix 404 errors and optimise for SEO. Support is very quick and responsive. Great app so far and definitely recommend it.
The app was really easy to use. It has been helping me rank high in Google searches. I’d highly recommend this app if you are trying to dabble in the seo enhancement game. It’s better than others I’ve tried.
I’ve been reading these great reviews and hoped to have an improvement. Unfortunately not all features are working and the set up seems not complete. I have been trying to contact multiple times but since weeks I haven’t heard anything. It’s upsetting because the app was so promising. I use the paid plan for 30$

It's very disappointing. Even though I selected the $59 plan during the trial period, not all features are unlocked, and I can't use these paid features. How am I supposed to know whether these features work or are suitable for me? In that case, I definitely won't make the payment after the trial ends, nor will I choose this app, and I certainly won't recommend it to others.

First day of our 7-day trial, we received support within minutes on a Sunday: Awe-inspiring customer service! The switch to SEO Manager took much less time than anticipated. Ever so attendant Valentina promptly sorted out a brief script conflict with another app, and within an hour, we were a go!
I have 3 Shopify online stores that all are using this SEO. Easy to understand and use. Customer Service (Josh) took the time to conference call me step by step and answer all my concerns. The automated setting takes the workload off and this SEO keeps up with all search updates. I would highly recommend this SEO app.
The Venntov SEO Manager application is the optimal choice for a website that contains a substantial number of products, such as xios-store.ch, but it is not limited to that. We appreciate the quality work performed by the support team. We highly recommend using SEO Manager Venntov. They are definitely worthy of a 5 stars plus.

I highly recommend using this app. It is very simple and easy to use. I did have one problem, but they were able to fix it very quickly.
We are a Shopify Plus company with 3 stores. We've been utilizing SEO MANAGER on all 3 sites for a little over 7 years now. Couldn't be happier. These guys' support as well is just as awesome as the functionality of the app itself. Recommend that you either go with the "Essential" or "Professional" plans (well worth it). If you are looking to increase your sales, this app is a must. P.S. If you are using something like the Vitals app for SEO, delete it! Install SEO Manager instead!

It used to be a good product with good support. Support has not answered after multiple emails for the same issue in the last month. I have tried multiple times to contact by 3 methods: 1. Sending a message in the app. 2. Send a message from the Shopify App page. 3. By emailing. I assume that either they are no longer supporting the product. I am going to start to compare other products with high ratings.
We have installed the app and upgraded and now have j-son issues. We have tried to contact the help desk for a week with only auto responses saying "we will get back to you". Very disappointing.
Great App for SEO. We have been using it for a few years and are very happy with the results. Pricing is also reasonable compared to others we have seen.
I have been using them for several years. Now the mobile site doesn't work and I have seo issues "SEOMetaManager. Liquid" I have contacted them several times and nobody will respond. Don 't waste your money with this group.
Hello! 1) I would like to commend that your app is very attractive, nice design and in most way, educated me and fits my requirement. Of course there’s room for improvement in detailed guidance, jargon-education and simplifying knowledge for a newbie like me. 2) Your customer service is very prompt and patient in handling my issues. 3) But I can’t seems to connect with GSC, ending up with white blank pages, other wise a red-shopify-tab popping up saying server error many times. So, it keeps me clueless and hanging what’s going on. It’s tiring me out. And I’m sorry I have to let you go. But, keep up the good work! You guys are great!

SEO Manager sets my SEO on autopilot! we have a store with 1000's of seasonal products and arent able to go into each product and individually edit the seo or image alt tags. Now with the use of SEO Manager we can set specific titles and descriptions for our products and set them accross all of our products with 1 click. It also redirects my broken links so i no longer have any, which would of took me weeks to manually process. The app helps to take some of the workload associated with running an online store off me so i can concentrate on creating new listings or fulfilling my orders. thanks SEO Manager PetnPony

This app is SO helpful and does exactly what it says! *2022 Update* SEO Manager recently updated to be OS 2.0 compliant and we are still satisfied with the app. The updated backend is a little different, but easy to adjust to. Note - you do need to enable the frontend app from within your Theme customizer. SEO Manager's features make it easy to adjust our meta details and make sure each page is optimized. The new, overall and per-page SEO score is a easy reference point for how well the site is optimized.
This is a great app. Previously I have struggled with SEO for my website, what to do & how it works. SEO Manager is straight forward to use and produces good results. Customer Support is excellent as well. Any queries are responded to promptly & nothing is too much trouble.
I have this app currently installed and I don't see any big change in my Search engine optimization or any traffic to my website. This app seems to be utter waste of my money. I have tried to contact the customer support multiple times but the support hasn't helped me in anyways boosting my site's SEO. I am not very happy with this app.
Be very careful setting this App up. If you do go and uninstall it, the app will remove all seo meta data from your website. You will need to contact support to fix it, it's almost like it deliberately compromises the SEO on the website once removed. This is pretty serious and not good for your store at all. Instead of seeing the title/description for example you will get this "snippets/SEOManager.liquid" was not rendered, the associated app was uninstalled" So even after uninstalling it all, this breaks the site. You have been warned, I would not recommend this app in regards to anything SEO related. Here is how I fixed it in case anyone wants the help without dealing with support. Find the line of code in your theme.liquid file that says - {% include 'SEOManager' %} Replace that with this code to get the default ones back. {% capture seo_title %} {{ page_title }} {% if current_tags %} {%- assign meta_tags = current_tags | join: ', ' %} – {{ 'general.meta.tags' | t: tags: meta_tags -}} {% endif %} {% if current_page != 1 %} – {{ 'general.meta.page' | t: page: current_page }} {% endif %} {% endcapture %} {{ seo_title }} {% if page_description %} {% endif %}
Three days have passed and the problem is still not resolved. Very Poor Service!!! Working with SEO requires immediate actions. If you provide such kind of service you have to react immediately to the errors and problems in your app. Do Not Recommend This Company. I will be looking for a new application.

Hi there, I'm sorry that you had a negative experience with the app. We have been emailing you regarding your experience, but perhaps it is getting caught in your spam folder? Because we haven't heard back from you, I am responding publicly, in hopes that you receive this and we can open a dialogue as to where things started to go wrong. On my end, this is what I see: On September 5th at 12:58 PDT, you emailed us to let us know that you were having some challenges regarding the scan results on your page. At 4:10pm PDT the same day, Amanda emailed you back to let you know that there had been a recent change to the way apps are managed by Shopify, and gave you instructions as to how it could be fixed. On our end, it looks like you viewed the email that day- but again, there could be something wrong with both of our email systems. On September 9th, a nearly identical conversation with Amanda took place via email, with you reaching out at 2:17am PDT and Amanda responding at 9:43am PDT on the same day. It appears on that day that we received an auto response from your email address ( it was blank). When that was received, Amanda emailed you back to confirm that you were able to make adjustments, but that email was never responded to- although from our end it appears to have been read. At 9:53pm the same day, you left this review. As far as I can tell, this is due to breakdown in communication heavily influenced by lack of email receipt/ the way your email client handles responses from help desks. We want to make this right, and would appreciate an email response to support@seomanager.com . At venntov, we try to make every experience a good one, and apologize that this was not a good interaction for you. Please email us back so we are able to help turn this experience around for you. We used SEO Manager for increasing the SEO ranking for our store. It is a great tool and very easy to use, but so far, we did not see any improvement in the ranking (this is our third month using this app.). Also, after updating every page on our website, this app is not offering more, so I have a hard time justifying the monthly charge for basically nothing.

Easy to use and customer support is terrific if you run into any problems. I have been able to update redirects, title tags and more.
We had problems early on with this app. Venntov helped sort things out and offered to give us full use of the app for FREE for life if I would change my negative review. I took them up on their generous offer, modified my review, and went on to use the app for several more months. I felt this was a standup way for them to handle things. But now in all honesty I can no longer recommend this as a 5-star app. Recently the app developed another glitch where broken links were displaying search engines as the broken link paths (as if Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo were actual pages on my website). I contacted support but got no response. Frustrated, I threw in the towel, deleted SEO Manager, and have now moved on to the SMART SEO app {which looks to be a more effective SEO tool}. Paying money for an app that works properly, and produces good SEO results, makes more sense than hanging on to a free app that doesn't cut the mustard. That's why I'm now changing this to a 3-star review. P.S. I have to wonder how many other 5-star Venntov reviews were written for free use of their product. ---------------------------------------------------------- Reply to Rhian Beutler's comment below: After a long string of problems with SEO Manager back in August I was super frustrated with SEO Manager. As a result I posted a 1-star review. Shortly afterward I was contacted by josh Highland at Ventoov who seemed alarmed and concerned that I had experienced so many problems. Because I was dissatisfied he offered to give me the product for free for life. And in return I wrote a 5-star review. At the time the app was working and I appreciated the great service. Like I said, I spoke directly with Josh on the phone - and he sent me this message below by email on August 11 2020. ---------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for taking my call today. We have applied the 100% lifetime discount and sent the access request. After I used it, the title of the product page was changed into Facebook. My Bing advertising account was blocked. I can't find their customer service after deleting this app. Now I don't know how to set it back

I recently started using this app and it has been phenomenal. Wish I had known about it earlier in my ecommerce journey. The back up support and onboarding experience has been great and Amanda went out of her way to help us get set up correctly. I would highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to manage their SEO properly, it has already made a difference to my business, www.sonatur.co.za, in the short space of time and I got my first order from the USA via google which was delivered from South Africa to San Jose, California in 6 days.
Really love the SEO Manager plugin for Shopify. Seems to work flawlessly on our http://titansurvival.com website.
Great APP. I tried several other apps that I hated. This app covers everything and also works with Kit. Must app for SEO and great to work with!
Had some hiccups at first, but customer service was able to resolve once we discussed the issue further. Some of the customer service agents could be better in my opinion, but the service from Rob was perfect.

I used this app to optimize my seo. It was top, and with the bulk edit you can make your products SEO proof very Quick. They even give yoy keyword suggestions and trends. Like it

Easy to use - pushed my store already within high competitor keywords under the top 10 within a couple of weeks. Smooth and easy process - but content work needs anyway to be done your own ;-)
Still trying to work with this app and get it right. Hopefully with some tech support I can solve my problems and will update this review at a later date.
Really impressed by SEO Manager. The app is so simple to use and their videos take you step by step through what to do and why. We're still only part way through the courses but all the actions are 'doable' for an SEO beginner - and most importantly we're appearing on the first page of Google for several popular searches. Love to see tools like this, so well thought out, easy to understand and most importantly it works.
I really like how helpful the customer service is and found the videos especially helpful to optimize my site.
I have been using this app for over a year. It is very easy to use. The app let's you know as soon as there is a broken link, helps do the SEO as you add new products, edit existing product SEO, etc. Highly recommended. I am not an IS guy. Easy to use.
SEO Manager has been a great tool to guide us through SEOs to be able to improve our website traffic and organic reach.
Excellent tool for improving SEO. Very impressed with the performance and simplicity. SEO Manager makes it very easy. Very good broken link proactive reports too.
I've been using this for nearly a month. I already had an established store with 150 products and several collections so going back through and making changes has taken some time. I'm now seeing results though. The most useful feature is the ability to rank for different keywords (tags on your products) within collections which is ace! Well worth following the tutorials and taking some time to get the most from the app. Recommended as long as you're willing to put the work in.

SEO Manager has helped greatly with redirecting buyers when they hit upon an old saved item listing that has been removed and redirecting them to our home page.
Found this app through a Shopify Masterclass on SEO which Rhien hosted, and love the user-friendliness and customer support so far! While i picked up many useful tips on SEO from Rhien, and it is possible to implement them by myself, SEO manager definitely helps small business owners like me to save time by simplifying the process. Great job to the team!

For sellers that are new to the world of SEO this app is perfect with its easy to understand interface and definitions of jargon throughout. I like that it uses JSON LD structured data. It is a great app, but it is very expensive & once you improve your store, you are only using the app to let you know about 404s and $20USD a month is a lot just for that.

I've used this app for a long time across multiple shopify sites. Very good app for SEO and SEM with great, prompt service. Easy to configure, set up and improve google rankings with. Great combo with MOZ and search console.

Simple to use. Very practical for editing meta titles and descriptions, alt text of images and much more. You can check the arrival keywords and the position of the page linked to it. For the results I have to see if I used the right strategy.
