Spoks: Email & SMS Marketing

It’s a wonderful program in Shopify admin or the stand alone App. Best of all Shopify Ai Sidekick understands how to set it up and Claude connects to it. I’m now fully automated via Claude with converting flows and scheduled well written Seo perfect campaigns. All at $35.00 a month… no problems! Dropping Klaviyo truly a strong well developed email program and switching to Spoks saved me over $100.00 a month and that’s more than paying for Claude at 20.00 a month. Net sum gain… I save money, I do less work, my flows are optimized and producing sales, my campaigns are scheduled out for a month by Claude and are well written and optimized via best practices for conversion. That’s called winning!

We were skeptical about SPOKS at first because of its low pricing and significant promises on what it can accomplish. As many other reviewers, we also came from Klaviyo and paid an incredible amount of money for our email marketing stack. Switching to SPOKS was pretty seamless. The MCP connection so you can build emails and adjust flows /emails from within your LLM of choice was an even bigger game changer for me. Overall 10/10 experience.

Awesome app! We switched to Spoks about six months ago after using another well-known email marketing platform for years, and we haven’t looked back. What we really like about Spoks is that it manages to be much simpler and more intuitive to use, without sacrificing the powerful features we need. Setting up campaigns, working with our customer data and actually getting things done feels faster and far less complicated. The ChatGPT integration takes it to another level. Being able to work with our Spoks data directly through ChatGPT makes segmentation, campaign planning and understanding our customers much easier — and opens up a lot of possibilities we’re only beginning to explore.

Having been a long time user of Klayvio, and an increasing frustration in the huge associated costs, changing over to Spoks has been incredible. The customer service has been immediate and helped us through any set up details we needed. So pleased we found Spoks.

I love spoks! I was with Klaviyo and they moved all my flows etc over really quickly. Setting up new flows is easy with the templates and I can actually edit or create emails from my phone now too! Been struggling with Klaviyo for a while. Been watching spoks and decided to go with them. The support you get is on the ball; that they actually reach out to you, when they must have seen my chats with Fin the bot. It's definitely not as complicated as Klaviyo and for someone who is new to ecomm and flows etc . Im really happy . Customer service with 5 star

I had been using Klaviyo for years. Ever since starting my business, I knew I wanted to eventually end up with Klaviyo as my email marketing platform. When I finally got to that point, I was ecstatic. However, as I've seen my personal costs skyrocket through Klaviyo, I knew I had to find an alternative. When a friend told me about Spoks, I checked it out. I did sit on this decision for quite awhile because UGH—who wants to have to set up everything all over again?! I finally decided to take the leap and signed up for Spoks. I was pleasantly surprised that it brought over all my contacts and flows. Customer service has also been top-notch—which is also a major concern for many when switching to a new platform. I cannot speak highly enough of how helpful Spoks customer service is. A true gem. I recently sent out my first campaign and it sent just fine. My overall experience of Spoks has been great! I'm so grateful to have found them.

I don’t write many reviews, but when I have an especially good experience with a company, I think it’s worth taking the time. I’ve been running and managing an ecommerce website since 1998. We’re a small family business, basically a two-person operation, so I handle much of the website work, IT, SEO, membership, and email marketing myself. Over the years, I’ve used more online platforms and services than I can remember. When my longtime email marketing provider doubled my cost and limited the number of contacts I could have at the old price, I started looking for an alternative. I found Spoks.com through an Instagram ad and decided to give them a try. Over the next few weeks, I had several video calls with Martin and Daniel, who patiently helped me move from Mailchimp to Spoks and showed me how to use some of the additional features, including AI tools. Daniel and David were also very helpful with follow-up questions along the way. I’m now up and running, paying about half of what I was paying before and getting far more features. What impressed me most was the support. Everyone I dealt with was patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Five stars from me. We grew on Klaviyo to 140,000 users but at points had 2000 regular customers, so the plan was costing us a fortune, and Klaviyos admin to surpress , unsurpress to align the commericals was crazy. When I saw your ad I though I was dreaming or it'd be rubbish. But as you included a sync and personal review of our flows, I couldn't say no. What a great app and service for my store- affordable and professional. I switched from Klaviyo, which was complicated and very, very expensive. SPOKS has made a small store like mine able to collect emails. Do newsletters and so much more; I highly recommend SPOKS

We decided to switch to Spoks because our previous email marketing platform was getting really expensive over time - a problem I think a lot of Shopify stores know. At first we were honestly a bit skeptical about switching. We have a bigger email list and our shop has been around for quite a few years, so email marketing is an important part of our business. We were worried about what would happen to our flows, if we would see a drop in revenue, how our email deliverability would be after switching platforms etc. But what can I say, we tried it and didn't regret it for a second. The whole migration went super smooth, we had absolutely no drop in revenue, our flows are actually performing better than before and our campaigns perform just as good. The tool itself is very clean and easy to use and has all the important features we need. Even with our bigger list everything runs really smooth. And one thing I really have to mention is the support. Probably the best support we ever experienced with any Shopify app. The guys really took their time for us, discussed the whole migration with us in several calls and are always easy to reach via chat if there is anything. You really feel like there are actual people behind the app who care about their customers. So if you're currently thinking about switching your email marketing platform because you're tired of paying more and more, just give Spoks a try. We are super happy we did!

This is the first time I've ever set up a new email platform and actually had fun doing it, and I've been doing this a long time. The connector to Claude has been seamless, all of the setup was so clear and David is so helpful with the videos, email welcomes, and even the email conversations we've had so far. I thought I was just dipping my toe into trying Spoks and installed it to play with and I immediately went all in and easily transferred everything into Spoks. HIGHLY recommend giving it a try. Thank you for developing this much needed app!

Probably the best onboarding experience I’ve had with a Shopify app. From the very first interaction, the team and especially Daniel has been incredibly helpful, proactive and genuinely invested in making sure we get the most out of the app. The onboarding alone deserves 5 stars. We’re still early in the process, but the potential looks huge. Honestly, if Spoks delivers even half of what I believe it can do for our store, I’ll be VERY happy. Great product, even better people behind it. Can’t wait to see the results.

My low average spend with Klaviyo per month was $970. I was constantly suppressing profiles and having to limit my email campaigns so I wouldn't exceed their crazy limits and spend more. I was hesitant to try Spoks but it has been a great alternative. It's not perfect but I'm a done is better than perfect kind of person these days. For $39 I can send an email daily if I want. It has the capability to display dynamic products based on collection like Klaviyo. I honestly don't use a ton of the features because I don't have to. I can hit a large majority of my database easily and regularly and that's what is important to me.

The problem with Instagram these days is that it is very easy to be tempted by something that doesn't sound feasible for the price, only to discover that itwasn't/isn't. We are a very small business, and yet we need to use all the tools used by the larger businesses. We were using Kalviyo, and yes, it was good, and yes, we were not using it to its fullest extent because, quite frankly, we're too small, with not enough time to make as much use as we maybe would like to. My biggest gripe, therefore, was a) the monthly emails we would get telling us that we were reaching our limits and b) the monthly bill, which, whilst not large compared to many, was something that was becoming more and more difficult to justify. I decided after a little bit of umming and ahhing to bite the bullet and make the switch. I am absolutely delighted to have done so. Not only was the transition as painless as it was promised, but without all the add-on features being added by Klaviyo, the Spoks platform is easy to use, easy to understand and with the mobile apps I can check on my campaigns and flows on the move and even start drafting a new campaign on the move too! I am sure there are some fancy things I could have done with Klaviyo that i might not be able to do with Spoks, but ultimately who cares. This is a very tidy program, with a clean interface and I love it.

A fantastic product backed by exceptional support After using Klaviyo for nearly five years, the cost of our plan had increased significantly. What began as an affordable solution became increasingly expensive as our email list grew. Since moving to Spoks, we have reduced our monthly costs and found the email builder much easier to use. The attribution also feels more accurate, but the biggest difference is the support. There is a knowledgeable, responsive team of real people available when you need help. We are extremely pleased we made the switch.

Delighted we decided to move from Klaviyo to Spoks - wish I had done it sooner to be honest. I have all the functionality that I had previously and we find the dashboard a lot more intuitive to use. After two months I would say my attributed sales have increased by 25% v Klaviyo and I am saving abut 75% on my monthly bill. Not had much need for support as the software works and is straight forward to use - but when I have contacted them the response has been very helpful & clear as well as prompt. A great success...

Great App I have been using klaviyo for years still cant pronounce the name (why call it something that no one understands) it was way too expensive and the price keeps going up I dont Like KLav whate ever.But I LOVE SPOKS it is cost effective and easy to use and I can PRONOUNCE the name .Well done team you have done what no other email service can offer ABOSLUTLY EXCELLENT

Oh my! I am loving Spoks. So much value, so easy to use, and the price can't be beat! I haven't used it yet but I will, I can now show videos too that link to wherever you want them to go. And the best bit, great support (hopefully from easy on the eyes Daniel).

We onboarded in under a day about 3 - 4 weeks ago and honestly, this isn't about the phenomenal savings the app offers compared to our previous email provider. We have experienced the best customer service I've seen in over 15 years of operating in e-comm - and they beat their predecessor hands down in responsiveness - and I can't overstate the importance of this when a company is moving their most valuable app asset, it's scary. Not an issue with these guys. The app is completely intuitive to use and so much easier than previous. The deliverability is way above the previous which is what it comes down to in cold hard commercial terms. There are some features still to be developed but any questions I've asked relating to these has been answered with confidence. As you can gather, we can't recommend this app highly enough. Best cost saving and improvement to my business I've made for years.

A friend told me they had seen an ad for Spoks but not tried them yet. I was skeptical, but willing to test it. I started slowly, with two simple flows and a handful of weekly emails ... some of my flows got messed up when importing from another provider, but the Spoks people held my hand and walked me through it step by step, and when it got to be too much for me, they went into my account and did it themselves. I've been with them for over 3 months now and I have no regrets. They really listen to their customers and are always adding new features to make our lives easier. Highly recommend Spoks!

I have a small business and was so tired of paying Klavio such high prices. I decided to trust the reviews I read and give Spok a shot. I am floored. The integration with Klavio was simple. The one issue holding me back was our flows and would I have to recreate them? Even those integrated seamlessly. And the support has been instant and so helpful. David and Martin are so responsive and have helped with every question I have had. SWITCH! We need to grow our lists.. but not pay more for doing so. I am thrilled and so impressed. Real, actual, human people are what make this the best option for email marketing, in my personal opinion. From day 1, an actual human reached out to me to personally answer any questions I might have about their platform. I've been so impressed by the continued human interactions- even when I ask their AI questions, a person will follow up to make sure my questions were answered. Very easy to use. A little more "bare bones" than other options out there, but those bells and whistles come at a high price. I like that there are no surprises with the bill too. I used to dread getting new subscribers to my mailing list, as it threatened to put me into the next tier, which was exorbitant for a small list ($60/month for 1200 subscribers is robbery). I actually WANT to grow my list now- which is the point. High praise from this small biz owner.

Spoks has been great for us! I love the flat pricing model. No longer am I unmotivated to grow our list due to increasing subscription costs. And customer service is amazing - easy to get help in the rare cases I've needed it. Would highly recommend!

We switched to Spoks about 6 months ago for email campaigns. We have a fairly large list size, and they were able to convert our list and flows to Spoks seamlessly. The interface is super easy to use and user friendly. Also, if support is needed, we know real humans are just a message away. You really can't beat the functionality for the price!

Switcing to Spoks has been such a great move for us. The transition from Klaviyo was super easy. I know how much I'm paying each month and it's WAY less than before. The UI is simple and it's not bloated with features I don't use. Daniel & Martin are very responsive. We're very happy with Spoks!

Great app. Provides ability to create, manage and monitor campaigns (posts), segment customers, create flows for lost checkouts, product browse etc, create your own flow, not restricted by database size nor send count. The cost of this app compared to the features it provides are quite incredible, other providers quoting around 70x monthly fee for similar services. You would imagine with their product being so competitively priced the saving must be in the customer service? wrong - completely the opposite, one of the best supported apps I've come across in terms or speed of reply, openness and availability and depth of knowledge. If you're considering engaging I would 100% recommend and wouldn't let the recency or low number of reviews put you off, great team, great app, great price.

We used to use Klaviyo and we just couldn't stomach the ever increasing and exorbitant monthly bill. We found Spoks and haven't looked back. The app does everything we need and does most of what Klaviyo does. Their support has been stellar. I cant recommend them highly enough and you'll love the price point. I am LOVING SPOKS! I was previously using Klaviyo, paying $70 for managing a relatively small list. Daniel and the Spoks team are so responsive and helpful. Transferring my list was seamless and the learning curve on the Spoks platform was simple and intuitive. They are constantly improving their product. Between the email and SMS tools, Spoks offers a clarity and simplicity much easier to use than the other email tools out there. I am so glad I made the switch!

Have been using Spoks now for a couple of months. We have a good sized list and a very engaged customer base. I send quite a few longwinded emails with lots of images, and walls of text, and it handles that superbly. The transition from Klaviyo was seamless, and the Spoks team handled everything flawlessly. I really enjoy composing with Spoks, it manages images beautifully, is super easy to customize our templates, and it just friggin works well. I highly recommend trying it out, am moving a few friends and families stores to it now. Price is right, performance is perfect, and you will like the simplicity of the interface.

Even though it has been a small learning curve the Spoks team has responded rapidly to each inquiry and held my hand when needed. The price can't be beat at $35 a month.
