EVERYTHING PERFECT, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I strongly advise other business owners to be extremely cautious when using Swift. I paid for one of their higher subscription tiers for almost four years. During that time, Swift’s “optimisation” process cloned my Shopify theme templates rather than applying changes to the original theme. This was never disclosed. I then added changes to my optimised theme, over years building my site up to it's now end stage. The result is that, because i used swift and because swift cloned my theme, the official theme updates can no longer be applied. My site is now locked into an outdated structure, and years of refinements are trapped unless I pay a developer to undo Swift’s work. Swift has acknowledged the structure exists and is technically able to migrate the code to an updated theme, but they refuse to do so unless I pay for expert help again. I had paid for expert help years ago to make my site faster and i never saw the promised results, so expecting me to pay them again for something that is their fault is frankly an insult. Despite this, they continued charging me £30/month for years and repeatedly pushed me to pay for additional optimisation and “expert” services. Key issues to be aware of: Lack of transparency: You are not clearly told that optimisation may clone your theme and block future updates Ongoing upselling: Repeated requests to pay for new optimisation and expert tickets despite already being on a high-tier subscription Responsibility avoidance: When long-term issues emerge, they are framed as “out of scope” or your problem to fix In my case, the service has left my site worse off than if I had never used Swift at all, and I am now paying to remediate the damage. If you value long-term maintainability, theme updates, and clear accountability, I would think very carefully before using this service. Take it from me as a customer of years, they do not appriciate or respect your custom and i will be taking them to trading standards as misrepresentating their services.

watch out, when they crop there image. There is no real return back. When they returned it back. Several images are damaged and not usable anymore and they leave you without real support. For large shops definitely not a good one.

Not impressed, nor happy. Either the app or the work done by delevopers (+$175) managed to mess-up the theme, causing both design ( product titles disappeared under main menu) & usability issues ( most crucially the buy button disabled when a different variant was selected) Since letting them know this yesterday, I can't access the app to see if they have responded to my support message ( I havent recieved an email, so doesn't seem so...) Trust me, it's the best SEO app on Shopify! We've tried other similar apps, but Swift's team has been the most responsive. Julie always provided quick feedback and even helped us fix a bug caused by another app's developers.

I was searching that included certain features necessary to increase the speed of my store. In my experience, if an app, any app, truly solves a problem, they give you a free trial so that you can engage with the app and see how well it meets your needs. This app offered a free trial, great. The caveat is that you cannot actually utilize all of the features, no matter what package you choose, during the trial. When you visit a feature, a box pops up stating that you must click on the "waive trial" button in order to use that feature. Sketchy, for sure. But I went against my better judgement, thinking it was only $29, and waived the trial to test it. I tested all of the options, and then tested my speed on their app, where it showed menial improvement (far from what I expected). In addition, although their app shows my site speed improved, in constant testing it did not provide any noticeable increase in speed. I should also mention, despite there being no changes made to the website, and having their "daily auto boost" feature enabled, the app shows my website speed slowing down each day. They do offer, for an additional $150, to have an expert increase your speed for you, but I feel like I was scammed out of my $29 by yet another app that overpromises and under delivers and am not interested in spending even more just to be disappointed again. I had a free trail that I cancelled in order to purchase their personalized plan and get in touch (and pay for) their expert. But I was CHARGED even though I cancelled my subscription, and I never got a reply from their team regarding this. And regarding the app, it did not improve the speed of my website at all. So I highly recommend looking for a Shopify expert to help you improve the speed, this app is a total scam and they couldn't care less about their customers. I have been using their service for almost a year. Except for the time difference in communication, everything else is very good. However, it would be great if they could continue to optimize SEO and pictures. However, it is only a one-time service and the price/performance ratio is not bad.

I have used OneExperts (parent of Swift I believe) to optimize speed 2 times on the Craft theme we use. The first version was good, but after a year I decided to update the theme to the latest version, and so needed it redone. Now getting a mobile speed of 88 on home page and 99 on desktop.

I was brand new to Shopify and like anyone, tried all kinds of apps in the beginning. This led to a very slow score on google, it was down in the low 20's. The turn around time was quick and Now I am consistently around 75 for mobile and 97 for desktop. The one thing that could be better is if they didnt have to duplicate your theme. So I recently tried out Swift's expert service to improve my website's speed score, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. At first, I was skeptical of the Google speed score, and I didn't want anyone messing around with my website's code (like mentioned in some bad reviews). But Julie, my contact at Swift, was super helpful and patient, and she answered all my questions without being too salesy. That reassured me. That being said, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't mention the requirement of an up-to-date theme before taking my money. In my case, I should have updated my theme a long (long) time ago, and it was an easy fix since I developed the website myself. But for people who rely on developers to manage their website, updating the theme can be an additional and significant cost. So I think it would have been better if Swyft had made this clear from the outset, before taking the money. However, once I updated my theme, the team got to work quickly and provided a report within 24 hours. They were very careful not to make any changes without my approval, which I appreciated, and they even provided a backup and preview before publishing. The results were fantastic - my website's speed score jumped from 30 to 70 (my theme was even at 15 before the theme update...so at the end an updated website is playing a big part in your score too). They also provide you with a full report after optimisation that really shows that they did a complete job, and it brings real transparency to the relation. Now, I'm on the monthly expert care plan ($49), which includes a monthly ongoing optimisation of the Google Score to keep it always optimal, and an image optimisation app. The last feature can replace another app I already have so it makes the plan a bit more profitable (I am just waiting for them to activate the automatic image optimisation feature). Plus, the preload website feature that uses Google Analytics to pre-load pages based on customer behavior is another cool addition that makes the plan even more valuable. Take that in consideration, if like me, you find that $49 is a bit pricy. At the end, you can make it a good value. Overall, I'm really happy with Swift's expert service. The team was respectful of my website's code and provided a valuable service that helped me improve my website's performance. Julie was a big part of why the experience was so positive, and I appreciate how the team is communicating very well internally (between sales and dev). If you're looking for a way to boost your website's speed score, give Swift a try - just make sure your theme is up-to-date first!

The day I installed this app was the day my website went insane. I had multiple issues right out of the gate with this one. I ran the free speed optimizer and also used their image tool to optimize 100 images. My thinking was I would test the free version, and if it worked I would pay for monthly optimizations. Test failed. The first, and biggest problem, was that the app made a duplicate version of my website. I did not realize right away, but the "optimized" theme was downgraded from Dawn 7.0 to a modified Dawn 4.0 that was unable to update. And not just the theme it duplicated....ALL my backups were suddenly Dawn 4.0. My website is less than a year old, Dawn 4.0 was never previously installed on my site, ever. I also had multiple product images that simply vanished and needed to be re-uploaded. On mobile, my product image swipe quit working. Even though it would say 1/4 images....It would only show one on mobile. I also had two "sale" icons on the products that were on sale, and one was half way off the screen so it was definitely causing glitches. Random icons on my website also disappeared and my website was overall glitchy. The optimizer tool got my page speed from a 28 to a 41 right away. However, the next day I was down to a 21 page speed and my website was simply not working. I decided to try to update my website to Dawn 9.0 since 4.0 was such an old version I figured that could be part of the problem...But no, the theme was modified and could not be updated. I had to download a fresh version of my theme. None of my page templates would transfer....I would have to completely re-design my website. So I got in touch with Shopify support hoping for an easier solution, who told me whatever the optimizer did to my theme to remove the "unused" javascrips and css, did something to my theme files. They suggested I contact the app developer support and ask for whatever they did to my website to be rolled back or removed. The Swift app developers got back to me quickly and looked into my issue, which I was happy about. However, they came back and told me it was "impossible" that my themes were downgraded to 4.0, and that it was "unreasonable" that I did not notice immediately (Do you check what version of theme you're using every day?) They offered zero solution, and told me to go back to Shopify with their email. So I did. Shopify support agreed that the email from the Swift app support was incredibly unhelpful and basically dodging responsibility. I spent a whopping four hours with Shopify support, and spoke to multiple people as they sent my case up the ranks to figure out why my site wouldn't update, why there were so many glitches, and why none of my page templates would transfer to my fresh Dawn 9.0 theme download from the modified 4.0 themes. After all that time, it was finally suggested that I just rebuild my page themes and redesign my website. We had to delete all my old backups that were corrupted by the Swift Page Speed Optimizer tool and start over. Devastating. After removing all of the theme backups that were corrupted and starting on a fresh theme download....My google page speed went from a 21 to a 64. Removing whatever the Swift app did, fixed everything. My website now runs flawlessly with a vastly improved speed score. In hindsight, I should have just upgraded to 9.0 before trying this app. I asked the Shopify support rep how a Shopify app from the Shopify App Store could so severely damage my website files...and they told me that Shopify has no control over what apps are on the app store and to use caution. They told me the best thing I can do is to leave a detailed review of what happened so other users may not have this problem. So here I am . I give one star for the support team responding to me, thanks for the response, as unhelpful as it was. Otherwise, I would avoid this app, or any app, that automatically alters theme files. Zero stars.

My store speed increased dramatically after their optimization with OneExperts service. After optimization, we were able to pass Google Core Web Vital on collection page for the first time. The Google Page Speed performance test score for the product page went from 22 to 66, which is a huge improvement. I definitely recommend them.

I would not recommend using their "experts" to boost your page speed. Paid good money and my store still has low score of 45 on Google page speed, 30 in Swift app, and 30 on shopify. Not happy that I didn't get what was expected.

I installed Swift to our store and hired their Experts for helping with the site speed. They basically doubled our Page Speed Tool speed score within few days which is amazing!
